Floyd says Cotto MADE him fight and throw more combinations and then in the same video says he could've outboxed him easy! Yea I’m Puerto Rican and love Cotto but boxing comes first and once you understand how good Floyd truly is like you do understand that he was giving Cotto HIS fight and yet beating him on it. Stayed on the ropes and corner for Cotto so he can feel at he’s best and most confident and comfortable and still made him realize it was practically impossible to beat Floyd. Watch the very beginning of round 12 and Floyd literally goes to his corner and let’s Cotto throw at him but Cotto is acting his heart out because he is absolutely exhausted and you can see and even hear how exhausted he is after he throws that combination. Than started acting once Floyd rocked him by pretending he wasn’t hurt by bouncing but he maintained the same distance from Floyd to not let Floyd know that he was hurt by backing away but also wasn’t going to try to exchange with Floyd again because he knew he was once punch away from touching the canvas and the way Floyd lands on him after is clear proof of all that. But Floyd could have pressed harder too and finished him as well as just outboxed him like he did Canelo and not try to give the fans a war. Again, I love Cotto, do believe he is the greatest to ever come out of Puerto Rico not just accomplishment wise but also skill but Floyd is just on a whole other level of passion, smarts, and dedication.
This men is absolutely amazing inside and outside of the ring. And the mutual respect between Floyd and Cotto. I really want Cotto to have that W but Mayweather stamina and quickness is out of this planet. THE GOAT.

I gave Cotto 5 rounds..the Last round was very important round for Floyd to win or this fight would have been highly controversial.. This fight was a great fight and one of my favorite to watch.

Dude you need to rewatch that fight with De La Hoya then. That fight was not close at all. The fact that it wasn't anything but a unanimous decision is laughable. De La Hoya wasn't competitive in the second half of the fight. Cotto on the other hand was making it close in the second half

I literally just rewatched Mayweather vs De La Hoya a couple weeks ago and it's not competitive at all from the 6th to 12th round. De La Hoya looked completely puzzled and solved by Mayweather. With Cotto appproaching the championship rounds against Mayweather, people were curious as to what would happen because it was still competitive and Cotto's late rounds showed us a Mayweather in a not-so comfortable position.
