Yeah those new extended tail lights really detract from what is a lovely car and you just know they will remove them in a year or so and claim it's another facelift. I have a FE XC40 RD but would love to add a Macan but only with the previous tail lights.

That front end sensor embedded in the grill is the center of attention if you ask me. Like it's emblem, eyes got used to cars having emblem in that place from Mercedes and other brands so that's the place to look. I hope there is a better place to put it or do some tricks around it to get eyes away on some other parts of the car. Maybe more interesting grill would be an option. How Mercedes did it with embedding it to the 3 pointed star is just perfection and designer can do their part around other stuff.

The Kia Sportage hasn't even a comparable look at the back. I don't know what you're seeing. The light structure is completely different, so the overall design of the lights.

The base engine is slightly less powerful than the one it replaces, the old rear lights looked better, the equipment level is similar to the old Macan and yet where I live the base price goes from € 75,300 to € 85,600. Less car for more money. Try harder, Porsche

The point of a company is too make money. As much as they tell you, the legacy thing is a marketing sceme. Ignoring the demand for SUVs would just be dumb.

Just bought a new '21 Macan S V6. Love it.
My 2017 Macan S looks great. Drives great. I don’t like the taillights on the new one. It kinda mimics the look of a Dodge or Lincoln at night.
