Im a bit late for the reply but just wanted to add on just in case it could help anyone. Ive been on T for 8 months now and my T levels just reached a peak at 1206. Im 22 and pretty active. Not as much as Id like to be but I do more lifting and moving then your average joe. My libido started going through the roof after like a month or 2. My cycle stopped the 1st month and havent had it since. My voice has recently gotten as deep as it can get im sure. Its still new for me to hear myself when i dont speak for a couple hours. I sound like im in my 30's lmfao. I love it honestly. My dosage has been 0.3 ever since I started and I will be cutting back to 0.25 for the next 3 months to bring down my levels. Also plan on getting alot more active and cleaning up my unhealthy habits. If there is anyone out there who feels like they need to rush the process, Im here to tell you along with Devon there is no need. Know your body & most importantly love yourself before getting too anxious. Much love to you all ! 💯
My starting dose is ~26mg/week (0.13 / 200). I haven’t started yet and am not interested in microdosing so I’ll have to chat with the nurse before my start date. Thanks for this!

I just got my T levels checked (Total Testosterone only) and it was only 321 ng/dL. I feel blah. No energy. No libido. 50mg of T gel daily. Want to switch to injections.
@@danieljones5342 I switched to 50mg IM injections 3 months ago and next week I have a blood test to check T levels and CBC. I still don't have a libido, but I feel better. My mood is level though. Maybe talk with your doctor to go up with your T dosage? I will try if I can once I get my blood results and appointment.
@@danieljones5342 you're doctors are awful. men that go on testosterone therapy are prescribed anywhere from 100-200mg per week. 50mg a week is way too low get a new fucking doctor!
Tell your doctor that you have a spouse or kids or someone that touches you and that makes the gel administration a problem. If they won't swap you to injections after that then find a new doctor. As for 321 ng/dl that is in range but low. Most ranges are 300-1000 or so. Try not to focus on the number as much as your symptoms.
I'm fairly sure that the testosterone someone else gets might not be the same as yours, i'm on 20 mg a week, my doctor(s) said that it was a low dose, but my dose is also being increased every 3 months by 10 mg, so they can monitor my bloodwork and T levels. My doctors said the average amount in mg is between 40 and 80 depending on the person, the entire clinic is very trans and non-binary welcoming and I trust them, but if I don't see many changes in 3 months I might ask to go to 35 or 40mg
There isn’t a blanket level where an individual feels optimal. Everyone is different, for the purposes of solely transitioning sure that’ll get the job done. I’m not in the mindset of “survival” but more so “thrive”. The difference in energy etc. from 500ng/dl to 725ng/dl can be night and day for some people let’s not minimize the difference.
I just had my first three months on 50 mg per week and my level was 715 on the peak. Yet my voice hasn't changed much and I still cry all the time. I do endurance running, biking, and rock climbing and I often feel fatigued. I am growing a beard already though. I have like 15 times more hair than before and it's only been three months but my voice has really depressed me so today I spoke to the doctor and she increased to about 66 mg per week (0.3 mL of 200 mg). I hope it doesn't go too high but I really want my voice to deepen. I wonder if the fact that I rode like 10 miles on bike prior to my blood test meant that my level was higher because there was more bloodflow.
I’m 16 and idk my t levels now but what would be the average starting dose coz I’m thinking 40mg -50mg but I don’t know if that’s too much or too little

That’s not normal and highly negligent- definitely ask for your lab results to be sent via pdf or if there’s an app you can download. Also ask for your dosage in MG as well as MLs !! Is this a local doc?

Just get tested .I’m 5.5 months on Testosterone is 934 and free T is 37.4. I have lots of changes but my voice has barely changed I’m 39 yrs and I take 0.75 every two weeks. Why won’t my voice change. Is this too high? Should I ask the doc to reduce my dose. I workout 4 days a week, I’m no longer an athlete.
Hey. I know it’s been a month, but has your voice changed yet? That does seem like a very high dose especially for only 5.5 months so that may be the issue… I was on 0.1 every 10 days and at 6 months my voice started to change

There is nothing wrong with starting low. However, testosterone cypianate is a long ester meaning it is going to take weeks for your body to get up to the level of Test you are taking. When I started I was tested every 8 weeks and my dosage was raised after every test as my level was under 200ng/dl each time. It's a long process as I'm sure you already know and sometimes patience can be tough.

Optimizing means more Test ; More funds. 500-600 total T is sufficient

The idea is to get your test done on the lowest part of your injection schedule. So have your blood drawn right before your next shot.

Of course. If they won't up you do to a number on a piece of paper then there are ways to get that number lower for the test.
