Is this just a little too different?

- Well folks, this one is a little different. I tried perhaps too many things on this build but how am I going to practice my craft I I don't try some things. I am happy with the functionality and storage. What do you think?
There is a second part coming out May 3rd which shows specifically the DUST COLLECTION and CONTAINMENT.

Awesome! Well built, great organization!
Thank you very much!
Great video Dave. Keep'em coming
Thanks for watching!
Can't wait for the next part!
Hey, thanks for watching. The next video will be out next Friday!
I have reused and rebuilt my shop furniture multiple times using the sane wood as well. I thought I was the only frugal woodworker reusing every piece of wood! Lol
You mean I'm not the only one out there! Glad I'm not alone! Thanks for watching.
I've even reused previous homeowners wooden shelving material multiple times.
Nice work reusing the glove and glue rack up on the wall. Cutting down the drill shelf to fit it looks great. Much sleeker looking now too.
Noticed some vertical frames near the table saw that you made tool wall over there. Could only see those for a second. Hope you show those off a little and maybe talk about them.
If you’re not bumping into the planer it is fine. Could always redo it after living with it a year.
Looking forward to next video!
Very observant, aren't we. :) Yes, always making changes. If it doesn't work, change it again until it's right.
Yes, those "vertical frames" are being built out. In a video a few months front now & in a shop tour. Will explain in full detail.
Thanks for watching!
I had considered putting my planer on a slide out shelf. I wasn't confident even a heavy duty set of slides would hold up, but the wheels are a great idea. When i built a new assembly table, however, i had enough room to put it on a cart underneath.
I originally had my planer on a slide out shelf in my assembly table and used these slides from amazon. They are rated for 500 lbs. I was happy with the slides. The wheels are just added support which I got on a fire sale.

I have mine on heavy duty slides. And no support wheels. No issues at all. No sag. Just get the big boys.
Great job!
Thanks!
