Amazing amazing, magnificent, bravo !!! No offense to anyone (let alone the greatest Flamenco guitarist of all time) but this sounds more musical than the original version !!! Beautiful beautiful timing, tempo, tone and rhythm. No hurrying or varying tempo. Wonderful. I only wish everyone who plays a guitar sees this. This is now my favorite guitar music on UA-cam. Liking, subscribing and sharing everywhere I can think of. You - sir - are an amazing musician - clean, expert and most importantly beautiful playing. No other guitar channel compares. Thank you for your videos and lessons. This is now my favorite UA-cam channel.
I'll admit that I thought of that, too. It might be fun to just say "screw the metronome" and speed up anyway, and enjoy seeing those of us with OCD get upset. :-) In any case, wow, just an incredible performance, that actually taught me where I'm not cutting it on this piece!
hello sir, this is regarding the part 0:07 - 0:11 lately i've been practicing panaderos flamencos. My right hand technique is pretty good, I understand the main mechanics of picado, pulgar, alzapua, rasgueqdo etc. I had a bit of confusion when playing *fast* picado passages on the treble strings whilst also playing bass accompaniment on the lower strings simultaneously ( as seen a lot in panaderos flamencos). for the part 0:07 - 0:11 When playing the melody on the 1st string and bass on the 6th string simultaneously, i can play the picado and pulgar both APOYANDO no problem. However, when playing the melody (for example) on the 2nd string, and the bass accompaniment on the 5th string, I have to choose - either to play the pulgar APOYANDO, or play picado APOYANDO. I can't do both, because the strings in question are too close together, which makes my palm curl in, and my fingers don't have the range-of-motion to execute both pulgar and picado as rest strokes (apoyando). So I tend to play the melody lines apoyando, but end up having to play the bass accompaniment without rest strokes (consequently giving a weak bass tone). Is there a rule which deals with this issue? Is there an exercise/or concept you could pin point me to here? Looking forward to your response! Cheers
A very common issue among learners, even very advanced ones. You basically need to work on getting a good tone with thumb free stroke when the picado string is too close to the bass string.
the best and cleanest live version on UA-cam amigo except for maestro Paco's of course ;) I'd love to pay for the backing track that you're using please let me know thanks y saludos desde Florida oleee tu!
Well, language forguitarists and musicians.... I don't know what A chord, A-M-I or pinky are. YourMasterJustin Have you learned "Panaderos flamencos" by Esteban de San Lucar in a month? dokannon Yes, it is very nice. Purple Person How is PDL's Pineonate Buleria? Meolafon Does Paco De Lucia speed up at the end? 51diogenes I love it too. Fernando Jose Serrano Garcia Good luck with guitars.
Orhan, Thanks for sharing these links. I have begun the road to flamenco guitar and your lesson packages are a great help. I have also admired your guitar. Is it a custom Conde Hermanos?
Hi there. This is by Esteban de Sanlucar. Toques Flamencos only has Paco Pena material. Also, this is not an alegrias. It is not really a flamenco palo. Here I am using sevillanas backing to spice it up a bit.
Que maravilla. Creo que con la de Paco de Lucía son las dos mejores versiones que hay en youtube. Una pregunta: como está seteado el metrónomo? Saludos desde Uruguay
Any rock lead guitarist can become Spanish guitarist if he can master so many variations of the right hand which makes it Spanish music, but more than else is its genre, the unique sound that will take long to sink in. I have known this.

I have been coming back 4 times a day for the last week to listen to this. Fantastic. Good you did not speed that up as Grisha did.

In fact I like it more than the original version : the sound is really bright, and the notes are so clear, no single mistake, really bravo
🤡
Well done.. I probably need 100 years to play this properly..
+achilleskocaeli Invest in a metronome. And practise at lower speeds, gradually sppeding up. Should cut that down to 50 years!

Hello Orhan! For the rasgueos at 0:13-0:19 are you playing the A chord 6 times or is it 5? And are you playing A-M-I or do you use your pinky first?
ideally 7... x a m i(down) i(up) i (down) i (up)
Well, language forguitarists and musicians.... I don't know what A chord, A-M-I or pinky are. A-M-I stands for ring finger/middle finger/index finger. P stands for pulgar(your thumb).

Thanks. And congrats for your cover. I like this song. I would like to listen more by Esteban de Sanlucar and Paco De Lucia.

Eu amo ouvir paco de lucia.

Excellent performance, if I am not wrong, this piece was also in Paco Pena's "Toques Flamencos" album, Allegrias.

The guitar is Hermanos Conde, and the strings D'addario flamenco with black trebles.

+Eder Fructos Estoy de acuerdo contigo, este hombre la toca perfecto.
So clear
Wonderful! Great work!
Is it standard tuning? What notes do you use?
Cool as always;
But because of the metronome you could not speed up at the very end like Paco does - and it sort of kills a small part of fun :)
excellent
muy bueno :)

Ole ole y ole

Nice interpreting, perfect rythm.
I would pay if you would give me the backing track with palmas that your are using.
It’s an app called Doctor Compas by Jason McGuire. I am using the Sevillanas option.

atrafana thank you very much. I actually use palmas por bulerias for this song and it works really well
where can i get a metronome like yours
It's an app called Doctor Compas by Jason McGuire
They want 33 dollars for it quite pricey!
this is a free one: ravennaflamenco.com/metronomes/buleria . It has all flamenco palos
