“Marty tried diving through that window to get away!!!” RIP BRAIN. The GOAT
Are you blind?! - Gorilla Monsoon. Lol 😆
LMAO Yes! That was classic Bobby "The Brain" Heenan!
Marty tried to escape lol 😆
@@WhoisShawn I was surprised he didn't respond "WILL YOU STOP?!"
"What an act of cowardice!!"
Rest In Peace Road Warriors Animal and Hawk, Tom Zenk, Randy Savage, John Kronus, Rocky Johnson, Dynamite Kid And Davey Boy Smith.
@@Jacktrack7 what a shit thing to say.

@@skyxwolf2799 But true. Idk much about Smith but Dynamite is deserving it.
@@skyxwolf2799 Is it ok with you if I thought the same thing?
What a rush!!!!!
RIP HAWK and ANIMAL my childhood heros and bad asses.
Awwww what a russhhhh!
The Road Warriors were totally and completely the baddest tag team to ever walk this Earth, bar none!
Rip the road warrios / legion of doom greatest tag team ever hands down
@Nexus Six he just died September 22
Dudleyz they were the L.O.D. of my time.
Putting Hogan and Savage in a list of dysfunctional tag teams almost feels like a cheat at this point 😂
Macho Man's rap cd was a cheat
It is a cheat.
Just throwing shit in there to make the list bigger.
Yeah pretty lazy
@Krystal Giove agree
@@rayejohn79rj11 yeah, but it was hilarious to listen to.
RIP Animal. He passed away today :(
Nooooo
I didn't know Animal passed. The Road Warriors were my favorite tag team of all time!!! Hawk and Animal the GOAT!!!!
@Brix Broox he had turned 60 just 10 days before he died
Owen Hart and Animal are maybe the only two wrestlers I never heard a bad word about, very good men. Remember watching The Road Warriors on Saturday nights in the eighties on TBD, 5:55, not 6:00. Didn’t like when Braves games were on instead of wrestling. Watched his son James play at Ohio State, now on the radio in Columbus, doing a fantastic job. A reflection on what a great man Joe was.
I met him in 2016 nice guy
Loved Jimmy Hart peeking from behind the door during the Mega Powers sketch.
Me too
Of course this gets recommended to me the day the Road Warriors are reunited.
What the hell are to talki... Oh, yeah. See what you did there.
No mistake
@Johnny Guillotine warriors are the ones who got me into sabbath
@Johnny Guillotine cause we needed the beer money!
There in heaven beating the sh*t out of demons
Fun fact: Paul Ellering named his stable of wrestlers The Legion of Doom. It consisted of Jake Roberts, King Kong Bundy and The Road Warriors.
That’s a squad there
Honestly, the early 00’s was a weird time for wrestling, I’m surprised Ron Jeremy didn’t make an appearance
Opposed to the early 2010's with Muppets and Hugh Jackman popping up?
He wouldn't pop up now with the charges...
The start of this video asking if you remember the dicks would have gone down very differently had ron jeremy popped up ahaha
Hey if he can have a cameo in the original ghostbustets why not show up on a raw.
He to busy in court now 🤣🤣
I heard about the backstage fight between the Dicks while listening to Jim Cornette this morning on UA-cam. It was brought up when they were going over someone's list of seven worst tag teams of all time. They were #7.
I’m shocked that you guys didn’t mention The Young Stallions. Paul Roma and Jim Powers were supposed to get a big push towards the tag titles but their inner turmoil kept that from happening.
Nowhere NoName preferred Power and Glory anyway
@BIGWORM 510 Hercules not getting a title run of any kind sucked.
@BIGWORM 510 also pretty wonderful roma and mr wonderful as wcw world tag team champions in wcw in 1994. pretty wonderful were good team in old wcw in 90's.
@@Walkerman404, Hercules was always one of my favourites, both as a heel and babyface. In retrospect, I think he was highly underrated and never used to his full potential. I thought for sure he'd get a big push, possibly an IC title run (back when that meant something) after he pinned King Haku with a belly-to-back suplex at Wrestlemania V...and then a year later he jobs out to Earthquake in a squash match.
Aren't we forgetting Benoit and Kurt angle here?
Bagwell and Scorpio recently did a video together, and talked about taking bookings together. Their beef is apparently completely squashed, and they seem to be on good terms with one another.
You just knew the Mega Powers we're on here. Back when they were together you knew they would implode. And you were ok with that because it was a great feud.
3:10 and Chris Van Vliet posted an interview with Jake the Snake today and Jake recalled how paranoid that the infamous cobra bite was going to kill him so that Jake could steal Macho's spot on the card. (Jake also told this story in greater detail on The Joe Rogan Experience)
Macho man dies ,snake gets the belt
@Mike The Scott That show debuted last summer.
@Mike The Scott Yes. It did.
He was worried Jake was going to literally murder him *on camera?* Good lord. How much cocaine was the Macho Man doing at the time?
@@BiggieTrismegistus yeah he was paranoid that the cobra hadnt had its venom glands removed. and that Jake would use the snake to kill him, even going as far as having Jake make the cobra bite himself before the match and then sat and watched him to make sure he didnt get an antidote for a bout 15min. just to prove it.
Honestly out of all the names on this list the one that surprised me the most was London/Kidman one
that one hurt the most as I liked them a lot.
Not me kidman and london were alot alike and kidmanheld grudges but loundon felt he been around enough on the indies like beating styles. Somoa joe brian danielson and you could tell when they fueded it u could tell there was real tenshion
It doesn't surprise me when anyone dislikes paul london. He's one of the biggest carnies around, and if you listen to him tell it, everyone in wrestling is out to get him. And somehow fans eat it up
@@josephsmithmeyer1195 Beating some other undersized guys who don't know how to work is utterly meaningless.
Basset what are you trying to say aj dont know how to work
The Road Warriors and The Rockers were two of my favorite tag teams as a kid growing up!!! Rip Road Warriors Hawk and Animal!!
me too but I also loved the Hart Foundation & the Twin towers Big boss man & the one man gang (aka Akeem)
@@bigwillietheb I too loved the Hart Foundation!!! I also was a huge LOD fan as well, so many epic tag teams came through the then WWF and now WWE
I always forget Tom Zenk was in WWF. He was always the 'Z-Man' in WCW to me.
yeah for a short time. I have WM III so i seen him in that tag match.
Marty and Shawn shouldn’t be top on this list. In a shoot they both admit they were drugged out and it was time for the split after years of being together. The heat wasn’t that hot. Even HHH and HBK had a falling out
really cuz iv heard quite a few people talk about the fight when narty really beat shawn up
They don't care.. Super HBK marks will do anything to mention him
What you forget about Marty Jannetty that has since come to light - he tried to have the Rockers jump ship to WCW without Shawn knowing. Marty was making calls, telling Shawn that he was handling things, but when Shawn talked to Vince about their going to WCW, Vince didn't know. THAT was right before the Barbershop.
People always saw what happened to Marty as harsh, but reality is, he brought it on himself because he tried to go into business for himself almost at the cost of dragging someone else with him. You don't do that. Going behind the boss' back and doing so with the fate of another without them knowing either is a bad move.
bs
@@scaccuI don't know, that's pretty on brand for Janetty.
@@scaccuI know it’s hard to imagine 90s Shawn Michaels as the good guy, but truth is neither of them were a great guy
Jannetty was a POS and I'm fine with what happened to him. The best example is a time they were wrestling some jobbers. After a move, the jobber told Jannetty "I think my neck is broken." Jannetty told him, and I quote, "stop being a pussy" and signaled for Michaels, who had no idea, to hit him with a top rope move. His neck was indeed broken, and Jannetty being human garbage instead left him a quadriplegic.
Think you’ll find janetty threw himself through the window trying to escape like a coward
Oh yeah Brain?
I remember Shawn saying that and why would he lie?
WILL YOU STOP
He attacked Shawn's foot with his chin.
Don't let this distract you from the fact that Marty Janetty might have murdered someone
"Colombian Marching Powder" is the greatest thing I've ever heard!!!
That’s an old school reference.
@@BrandonGavin_EDC I'm probably older than you, kid. No shit! I don't have to explain my comment to you.
I liked “Booger Sugar” I only heard that one a couple years back
I prefer nose snow
@@kyleshiflet9952 nose candy too
rip roadwarrior animal. who just pass away. thanks for memories.
I expected the Mega Powers and the Rockers to be on this list. I'm not sure if this was meant to be a top 10 list. I noticed that the Rockers were mentioned as #1 which doesn't surprise me one bit. I've met Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty on separate occasions after the split. I'll just say that from talking with them and the vibes I got, the Rockers' break-up was inevitable for many reasons.
Legion of Doom/Road Warriors were the best WWF tag team.
lol this is exactly like clocking in at a 9-5 and hating the people you work with
I don't have anything close to a 9-5, but I do agree!
Day 267 of asking: "Every Paul Heyman guy ranked from worst to Best"
Maybe if you get to the combined length of the summer of Punk and the WWE rehash of it they will
@@chrislaffey1828 probably not. They never do what us fans want, they just do what they want.
@@cringeoregano3411
And I don't blame them. Fans will never be satisfied and demand more.
@@Dragonkaiser20 I'd be satisfied with this. This is literally all I want, then I wouldnt care what they post lol
@@cringeoregano3411 was there even that many Paul Heyman guys? Not counting a quick experiment that went nowhere ala Curtis axel
I remember hearing about the Dicks absolutely hating each other. That and I believe Tank absolutely tore into Chad during an interview later in their careers.
Savage was entirely true in regards to Hogan, but being that paranoid probably meant he wasn't enjoyable to live with.
I guess Bagwell never fully removed his head from his own ass it seems. Just going off the litany of issues I've heard and read about. Hell, Bagwell got his ass kicked recently. So getting bruised up wouldn't hurt him too much.
At least the build for LOD 05 was good from what I recall. Heidenreich trying to prove himself to Animal.
Though I normally don't care about "sappy" things like this, what remains of my childhood does hope that Hulk and Macho Man burying the hatchet before he died is true. I remember being kinda devastated when I found out that they hated each other IRL. They were always my favorite tag team while I was growing up.
Catisreckless Evidently their relationship was on and off. Was supposedly on at the end.
@@99somerville It was said that they had made up before Savage died, but that could have been simple PR niceties.
I don’t usually comment on the stock images, but JEEBUS, that demon hand you guys used for Judy Bagwell!
Great video brother. keep it up.
Great video and excellent research.
Tony Atlas, all I can hear is that laugh from “Legends House” whenever his name is mentioned.
Didnt really like macho wearing Hogan colors.
Colombian marching powder. Legit LOL
Rick Martel, Tito Santana and the StrikeForce! Now there are two names that I forgot about but were truly a great tag team / performers.
I either didn't know or completely forgot that Tom Zenk had died.
i really didnt know that about kidman/london that legit surprised me i was always a big fan of both and was happy asf when they paired them up i loved that team and hated when they broke up i always thought that was just part of the billy kidman heel turn after the whole "shooting star being too dangerous" story line after he legit concussed chavo never knew they had real life problems
8:29 “Without much of a plan” is a phrase that can be used a lot when describing WcW in the 90’s
What a good way to spend your time after school is done
Dynamite Kid (Tommy Billington) was amazing in the ring even way before the Bulldogs, i saw him when i was a kid in my town Portland Wrestling he looked like a superhero at the time quickly became my favorite of all time, Portland also had Billy Jack Hayes, Kurt Henning ( mr perfect) Rip & Larry Oliver ( family friend) scotty the body ( Raven)so many more. Dynamite Kid vs Tiger Mask are some amazing matches, true wrestling not shit drama microphone talking of today! 1980's 80 - 87 were the best years in my opinion " Dynamite is the best there is, was, ever will be" - Brett Heart.
be a man - randy savage.
He made a rap album with a song dissing hulk hogan
No shit
Lmao...... Randy savage made a rap album!🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😂😂😂😂😂🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
@@dennisjr77 straight up. If you look it up, just listen to " be a man" its soo bad that its good.
Wtf 🤣
I'm looking it up, later
Well, in all fairness....I never thought Hogan would go out like a chump....
The"Marty Jannetty" of the team , that is pure GOLD
Could be worse. You could be the Marty Jannetty of a team WITH Marty Jannetty like Al Snow.
This brought back so many memories u cnt get this era of wrestling back
Warrior and Hogan as a tag team.. Brutus "Beefcake" and Hogan was awesome, too.
Your story about the bulldogs is bullchips. I knew both Davey and Tom personally. Grudge? Lol! The signing thing was a work. They got along quite well after the wwe break up.
The Usual Suspects was hilarious 🤣😆.
Keep up the great work!
Billy Kidman and Paul London talking about the Shooting Star Press
Jushin Thunder Liger: Hold my beer
lol was i tyhe only one who almost cried at ligers retirement match? he should of won but he stood with tradition like always
@@MrNightshade2010 i'm just saying lol
Marty's greatest tag-team partner is probably his creepy social media posts
I've been in jail with Bagwell twice. And his uncle as well. Buff is joke everywhere. Not just the ring. His uncle was pretty cool though
@@MMago_10 at that time it was a violation probation and leaving scene of an accident I believe. I've technically been locked up with him twice. But the 1st was only in a classification dorm so only about 2 days or so and they sent me somewhere else. Coincidentally I was locked up with Otis Nixon at the same time. I watched the superbowl with an ex wrestler and a former world series champion. Peyton won
Uhhhhhhhhh
That’s dope probably one of the only people who had a hell of an experience in jail 💯😂
So buff was cool or nah?
T BAG WELL 😂😂
I guess Tom Zenk felt Rick Martel had too much "Arrogance".
Sure had fun at the last Marty Party
Always taking shots at me. Bravo for originality.
Are you actually, Thyn Vito?
Hogan never wanted Savage to have the belt period so Savage went at him hard and wild
great work adam
The Eliminators are, and always will be, one of my favorite tag teams of all time
My god, the dynamite kid must have sucked at blading. I counted at least 5 giant scars on dude's forehead.
The Mega powers had to wear hogan's colors......i wonder who had the ego problem
Hogan was the WWF in the 80’s...... like Jordan was the nba in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s.
True. But did Savage have a color scheme back then? He always seems to mostly wear different colored trunks and ring robes. Only the yellow shooter boots seemed to be a constant back then.
Tully and Arn, Road Warriors, Hart Foundation, Midnight Express and Rock and Roll Express are my all time favorite tag teams.
@Johnny Guillotine see if I care, you're an Attitude Era fan
I remember HATING LOD 2005 when they were a thing.
Imma be honest, for the legion of doom, Animal should have been the leader/manager/unofficial third and Heidenrich should have tagged with Snitsky, they tagged together before with a bit of chemistry, had a bit of a history, looked decent together, and imagine snitsky, heidenrich, and animal in paint and spikes coming down the ring. That is an intimidating trio.
I was always of the opinion that once Road Warrior Hawk died that should have been the end of the Road Warrior’s/Legion of Doom. The recreation with Heidenreich and Animal should have been teased leading to an Animal heel turn at best. Something similar to the false “reformation” of the original DX back in 2002-2003, where Shawn Michaels was tricked into believing he was reforming the team with Triple H and then brutally beaten and laid out by Triple H. Heidenreich could have been led to believe he was “Hawk’s replacement” until a point where Animal would viciously attack him, leaving him laying in a puddle of his own blood.
Wow. I did not, let me reiterate, I did not know that John Kronos passed away. I didn't even know that him and Saturn didn't like each other. That three way rivalry between The Gangstaz, The Eliminataz, and The Pit Bulls was intense. I miss ECW.
"You smile too much, pal"😂😂😂
The snow reference. It came right after the pick where elizabeth is standing between hulk and mach and wiping her coke nose. Lol
Atlas' big problem with Rocky Johnson was he never wanted to take the interstate
The Soul Patrol shocked me the most
For retro Shawn Michaels fans out there before the rockers were known as the rockers they were in the awa under the team name of the midnight rockers. When they came to wwe because of the midnight express they shortened it from the midnight rockers to the rockers.
Rock n Roll Express
Midnight Express
Midnight Rockers
Midnight Rockers/The Rockers were Rock n Roll Express clones.
Piper A R I’d say wamalama bamalama rock n roll is king
“Perry fell off the face of the earth” meanwhile the man was shot in the neck, became addicted to meth, homeless for two years
Other than the shooting, the rest is about choices. He left WCW for WWF because he thought he were a star how did that worked out? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@rahemejones9769 And didn't he beat up a jobber for bodging a move and that pretty much ended his wwe run? I think they made him do the mop story line after that.
@@jimmynich4791 like I ask, how did it turned out for him? 🤣🤣🤣 Even the old mop head still laughing 🤣🤣🤣
@@rahemejones9769 Did not work out well.
@@rahemejones9769 actually on Bruce’s podcast out of the three Radicalz, he said Perry was the one they thought would be the biggest star. So it wasn’t just Saturn.
Sad that both Road Warriors are dead now. 😞
lol at Kidman thinking he was some master of the SSP. He'd never tuck his legs, he'd over-rotate, and he'd never hit dead center. He was a good wrestler and the rest of his offense was pretty solid, but his finisher was probably the worst SSP I've ever seen.
Honorable mention to William Regal and Tajiri.
As good as the Natural Disasters and the Road warriors worked together when they had a run they should have teamed up Animal with Typhoon (aka Tugboat aka Shock master) after Hawk passed
I once heard neither of these two tagteams got long in real life.
MNM (Joey Mercury & Johnny Nitro w/Melina)
La Resistance (Sylvain Grenier & René Duprée)
The actual Match Shawn Michaels vs Marty Jennatty is One of the Best Matches i ve ever seen,
CSB: Way back in my adpopted hometown of Calgary a young Davey Boy was in a match with Dynamite and trusted the latter to blade him. The result was gruesome. Stu put the image of Davey spilling buckets on the cover of the program so maybe you can see it online somewhere. Scary.
Also, Dynamite got a job because Bruce Hart saw him on stint he did in Europe and saw a small man he could have good matches with. He told him some s*** about a furnished apartment, the use of a car and good money. Bruce was full of it.
Dynamite was a piece of shit.
Whoa! Are you serious with the 4 commercials during this 12:54 clip? Ridiculous!
Perry & John did make up after for a short time for the first ECW reunion show.
Good vídeo
Correction: Paul London did the 450 splash. Kidman did the Shooting Star Press
London was forced to adopt the shooting star press as his finishing move after WWE banned the 450 splash.
The Road Warriors are now in a bar giving Jesus a doomsday divice.
Trust me. They are definitely not in the same place as Jesus. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Unfortunately I'm at the exact age where I saw LOD in '97 and '98, awful years for the team. Then this Heidenreich Animal thumbnail comes on and I remembered it got even worse. I wish I got the Road Warriors, I just don't. Their Crockett run was before my time
Savage was 30 million times better than Hogan. Hogan tried to hold Randy back and it almost worked
lol "Almost"
I don’t think so. MM was beyond jealous over Elizabeth.
I think, had Macho Man been left alone to have his own world title run without Hogan around, he could have been big on his own and might have gone over Hogan. Every time I say so, I get shouted down by Hogan marks.
@@piperar2014 I agree but that's why it's called the entertainment business
@BIGWORM 510 Agree
Perry Saturn never returned to ECW after tearing his ACL; he signed with WCW while still rehabbing and somehow came back in roughly 4 months from a torn ACL.
What about the Young Stallions? Jim Powers & Paul Roma were the definition of JOBBERS until one day the WWE personal and writers decided to make Roma and Powers as a Tag Team. They were still JOBBERS but they were gaining a Fan base. As a result the WWE gave the Young Stallions a decent push and place them in a HUGE Tag Team survivor Series event with incredible Tag Teams like Demolition, on, The Killer Bees , Strike Force, The British Bulldogs, The Hart Foundation & etc. Unfortunately Powers EGO took his toll and as a result Neither him and Powers didn't like each other which in the end finished off the Young Stallions concept. NEITHER one reach their status that was achieved as a the underdog Tag Team force.
It's interesting.
Their characters were probably more likeable to each other than their real life versions.
Imagine if we did this in real life. We get along with our enemies if we played characters lol
great, "what a ru...." impression!
Nice thumbnail 👌
The Dynamite Kid was 🔥🔥🔥 in Japan
Rick Martel - Tito Santana
good video
Alot of the beef between the rockers started after they split. After their match bombed at Royal Rumble 93 Michaels told Vince it was because Jannetty was off his face and wasted and got him fired. Then when Vince found out that it was actually Shawn Michaels that was off his face and tanked the match be brought Jannetty back and had Michaels drop the intercontinental title to him on Raw as punishment. Then after that Michaels was just constantly trying to get Marty burried behind the scenes. I am glad though they they now seem to have made amends with eachother because lifes too short and they really are one of the greatest tag teams ever.
When I saw Paul London on this list I thought it was because of Kendrick (I forget where I read it but I remember reading they didn't like one another). Is it bad I forgot Kidman and London were a tag team at a time when I religiously watched WWE and preferred Smackdown to Raw
Honestly I think Hogan was ultimately more detrimental than helpful to the Wrestling industry in the long run. At least for the so called “hardcore fans”, who were more interested in the art than the entertainment aspect.
Hogan was on top. He wanted to stay there. I don't like it but I get it. Hogan was making more money than anybody in the business had ever seen. The entire WWF was all about entertainment and less about actual wrestling during the Hogan era. The NWA/WCW of the 1980s was all about WRESTLING.
Art is entertainment, wrestling is and always has been simply a form of entertainment
Wow the eliminators from ECW I thought they were best friends I didn't know they didn't like each other that's crazy good video man they were one of my favorite tag teams growing up
i enjoy eliminators as tag team in ecw when i was younger. there ecw world tag title match vs dudley boyz at ecw 1997 barley legal ppv was great. still got that ppv tape. good times!
Micheals and Janetty were "The Rockers", a sad rendition of the WCW or actually, at that point, NWA, and their team, "The Rock N Roll Express", which were around for 6 to 10 years before the WWF decided to STEAL their idea. I never knew Animal teamed up with ANYBODY other than Hawk, and it has to be blasphemous to see. Animals Son was a multi year ALL American Middle Linebacker at Ohio State. I don't watch Professional Football, because of all the Assholes in the League, but he should be or been, a Bigtime Player in the Professional Football League as well.
actually the rockers began as the "midnight rockers" on the territory scene and first got famous in the AWA then signed with the WWF and was fired before their first match then 6-12 months later vince rehired them ..........
I am watching from Elmira NY one tag team that were enemies in real life was Dangerous Dan Spivey and Greg the Hammer Valentine
Poor Hiedi. Anyone would've fallen short standing in Hawk's spot.
I love this video
When John Kronus died in 2007, Saturn was nowhere to be seen at his funeral, just like funerals of several other Saturn's tag team partners and real life friends, most notably Johnny Grunge of Public Enemy. While many automatically attributed to backstage or real life problems. it was at the time when nobody knew where Saturn was or whether he was even alive.
