I just had a broken tooth extracted. Wow, the pain was absolutely brutal when he pulled it. Thank goodness I had a personal supply of Oxycodone afterwards. My whole left side of my face hurt, especially in my ear. There is still a bit of swelling in the lower jaw near the extraction but it should subside. I’m in no pain today and using an ice pack. If you’re going through this, you have my sympathy.
@@smileonyouandblessedsmile Thank you. I’m on my sixth day of recovery and there is still a little bit of tenderness on my jaw line and tingling in my ear/face however the worst is behind me. God bless.
@@lioneltechreviews9740Bro I just had an extraction of 2 upper teeth (premolar) on both sides. How many hours did it take to get rid of the pain ? Also I got stitches for this. Did u too get stitches?
For anyone who bleeds a lot i hope it'll help. I was bleeding so badly yesterday after my tooth extraction. It actually took 24hours before it stopped. I followed all the tips that I've learned in youtube but it didn't work until I took a bath earlier. I was about to go to hospital that's why i took a shower and when I was about to go, I noticed that it wasn't bleeding anymore. So guys try to take a bath with a cold water. Might help.
Ive at least half of my teeth pulled. So i know the routine. The only trouble ive ever had was a 30 year old bridge where one tooth was completely decayed. The other tooth i tried to save. It definitely has to go. He is so right about the food with seeds. Im thinking eggs cooled down. He forgot to tell you to stay away from hot food. And dont rinse for 24 hours. Thanks Doc.
You'll definitely want to avoid eating anything while you are numb in the area. After the numbness goes away, you want to make sure to avoid eating anything with small little bits like rice, seeds, etc that can get stuck in the area where the tooth has been removed for a few days. In general, it is a good idea to be careful and mindful with the area until the area has healed.
I just had one of my back molars out last Monday and I just started eating some ramen/pancakes. Take it very very slow. This last week I lived on protein shakes & yogurt.
I had my side tooth removed yesterday it was broken i was in very bad pain i have a little swollen on my lower cheek and a little redness on the outter cheek is this normal?
WOW!!! A lot of detail, which is good!!! I had a tooth pulled 2 years ago, EVERYTHING he said is true; you WILL NEED a pain reliever NOT Ibuprofen- causes ulcers- so get either Acetaminophen OR better than that a prescription for Hydrocodone a more powerful pain reliever- I requested a PRESCRIPTION strength pain reliever not OTC; OTC pain relievers have very little effect on dental issues, don't waste your money- takes 2 weeks to 30 days for complete healing, so there you go, GOOD LUCK!!!
I am not sure exactly what you are referring to, but it may be the healing gum tissue/blood clotting that is forming in the area if it was after a tooth extraction. Hope this helps!
😂😂😂😂 I was wondering the same thing I thought it was infected like what's that white thing in the hole ooh lard my mouth is rottening 😂😂😂 thanks for this question

I got a tooth extracted 10days ago and its slowly closing but I read somewhere that after 10 days it should close completely , have I done anythig wrong?
Im planning on having a first molar removed on my right side due to a tooth that had root canal years ago And am finding that there are risks that it can shift my teeth and even potentially cause the tooth above the extracted tooth to l over time fall out long term. Can you share any thoughts on this thanks
The risks you mentioned are definitely possible if you have a missing tooth and do not get the space filled. I would recommend that you speak to your dentist about tooth replacement options
Hello.. Can I ask, why do we put cotton for half an hour or an hour in the extraction site if the formation of blood platelets takes place within 6 minutes?
Although the blood clot does form very quickly, some of this may be washed out by your saliva resulting in a pink color to your saliva. Biting on the cotton gauze just helps to ensure that this blood clot is fully formed and stabilized before anything can be washed out.
We usually recommend to take some pain medications prior to the numbing wearing completely off. This helps to keep everything calm even after the numbing goes away! Hope that helps!
What is the powerful medicine that help u in 2 hours cuz my friend the painkiller given to him lasted only 10 minutes and then the worse pain comeback again . And the 3rd night is worse even he take painkiller tramadol and mefenamic does not kick in he's in bad pain for 3 hours he's painful up to head..
Thank you for this informative video. I had doubts regarding about" when should i remove cotton after tooth extraction ".But i understand after watching this.
Hello sir please help me because am going to see a doctor he removed it my teeth but it still bleeding because am anny can you help me please am still bleeding 😢
Some amount of minor bleeding is very normal even hours after a tooth is removed. But if it is gushing out alot, you can go ahead and bite down on a piece of gauze or a black tea bag and hold it in place with pressure for at least an hour. I hope that by now, things are starting to feel better!
Hi pls reply. My dentist told me to remove my right wisdom teeth that hasn't been erupted because my left one already erupted and removed. So are wisdom tooth erupt in pairs, one after the other? Is there a big chance my right wisdom teeth will erupt?
Hello! There could be a number of different reasons that your right wisdom tooth has not erupted. Very often, wisdom teeth will not erupt symmetrically, so there are many cases that one may come out but not the other. Hope this helps!
You'll want to be super careful for the first few days especially if you've had teeth removed on both sides together! You certainly do get extra points :-)
Screw me everyone is saying change it every 30mins or so and this whole time i have been doing it..damn it. Been bleeding for like 8 hours. Its almost 5 am and no sleep... worst experience ever..

Sometimes it will take longer than 10 days depending on the type of tooth that was removed and what the area looked like before you had it removed.

what about when you accidentally swallow the blood clot from the extracted tooth? what will happen?
Dry socket 😢 call your dentist
Dry socket if the clot doesn’t reform, the blood clot swallowed will grow a blood clot tree in your stomach which will come out through your bum.
I just got Extraction. i have a very painful swallowing. I feel like i have tonsillitis
