Android didn't adapt their widgets to material design because widgets had lost their cool factor. Now after apple introduced widgets... Widgets were back in the news android scrambled to adapt

More than features they should optimize the experience and no stutters and framedrops in ui that will make more sense to new update of miui rather than making it heavy
exactly bought a brand new note 10 pro and it sucked for the first 3 months and to this day still does in many aspects
@@pranjalsharma9668 bro the miui is really big trash iam a poco x3 user and seriously telling this ui lags even on basic tasks like opening and closing apps faster, animations Lage feels like 6 gb ram phone working like a 1gb ram phone because of this trash software never going to buy Xiaomi s smartphone again in my life.
Miui is so crap, even in flagship it has bugs & UI jittering & lagging
@@mrjash007 i have been using my mi 11 x pro for a while now and i haven't experienced any lag in the UI i have seen lag in my friends phone which is also miui but in my mi 11 x pro i haven't experienced lag and in case of bugs i have seen some bugs in my phone but those were very small bugs it doesn't even matter that much but I have seen alot of bugs and lags in budget miui smartphones

The camera and microphone indications on top when they are active. That was an Android 12 feature. Nobody talked about that in MIUI 13

It seems to me like the best miui update. They kept the good visuals from previous miui, they revamped the old ones and added many important and interesting new features that are necessary, giving you more options to customize them as you wish. QoL chanegs were necessary and MOST IMPORTANTLY the optimization that makes the difference. Amazing.

I really do hope it will fix the lag issues especially 120hz enable especially for Poco X3 Pro. The bug has not been improved since 5 month ago.
One UI 4 (Android 12) is the best take on Android 12 after the stock build on Pixels.

nice i love miui 13 despite with limited changes i do love the 13 but like i said some features is not available on global and india version because it's not supported depending on the market and has been confirmed global version will be arrived very soon probably on january 26th on redmi note 11 series live event if I'm not wrong
Adaptive colour feature is already presents in MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 on my Mi 11X...

I read some articles saying lots of the new Miui13 features won't make it to the Miui 13 Global and EU versions.
If that's confirmed to be the case, I'm immediately switching back to Google Pixel or go for Samsung device this time.
I just got Miui 13 Global update based on Android 12. And there's absolutely no change. No widgets, No single new feature. Even my control center is still the same thing I had on Miui 12.5
I hardly believe there's someone simplified MIUI 13 that detailed.
Camera features are probably from mi 12 only but screen off during video recording is an old feature, i have this my redmi note 10 pro max.
Performance Mode is feature of miui 12.5 enhanced update.
This was posted 3 months ago, I just got the update yesterday in the states, lol. Miui biometric wasn't covered not sure what it does but a green icon camera now pops up and feels like my phone is looking at me
With great features, comes great bug responsibility
If you use miui12.5.9 you won't be saying these things
@@craz7644 Most of the comments are from people who are using the normal Miui 12, which yes has many bugs, but from 12.5 Enchanted Edition onwards it has improved a lot.And I use the Miui 13 China Beta and I say it's amazing, it's very good to use, and luckily NO BUGS. Wait to see the Miui Global version, it may have problems, but China is getting better.

Does it have auto rotate suggestions which was introduced in Android 9.0 pie? I find it hilarious that MIUI omits such a useful feature which is now part of stock Android since Android 9.

It does. Shows up on the home/back button bar. A little rotate symbol. It's so amazing coming from an iPhone that doesn't have that, having to constantly turn on and off auto rotate sucks
@@dyamimc does it appear on gesture navigation as well? The last time I used MIUI, the little icon does not show up when you have gesture navigation enabled. On other phones, the icon comes up even if there is no navbar at the bottom

MiUI can give Mixer and Grinder. But, I want a good phone with stable Android Security update at least for 3 years.
I don't care about the looks or feel of memeui now I want it to be ultra stable and smooth without any ads and stuff. Maybe that will convince me to keep using memeui

5:20 Not really; You can use the one handed mode with navigation gestures by adding it to quick ball shortcuts. It's been there in miui 12.5, 12 and maybe 11 too
If China ROM's bug free and feature rich ROM comes to the Global ROM, MIUI will be a hit
MIUI actually started as a custom ROM

It's the Android problem, not just miui. Plenty other skins face this issue too. Google has to fix it.

Please tell me, what launcher do u use? Because in miui 12 if we want to change launcher with nova or any other launcher the gesture feature is gone

I have poco f3 though im not from india and so is my unit.. but in miui 12.5 enhanced,we already have adaptive colors,shoot while screen off and also performance mode on the battery options.. just sharing..

I updated mine, the control center didn't change at all. I also encountered an issue where in when you enable dark mode, some apps won't go dark.

Should we use live wallpapers and animated widgets like analog clock? I have tried various apps like Wallpaper engine, Zedge, inbuilt live wallpapers etc. and they all drain battery very fast.
usually if it's integrated with the UI itself it's more optimized than using 3rd party apps.
Alot of issues with the second space features needs to improve alot

Does it have separate audio level for ringtone and notification tone? Realme, samsung already have it. I am a budget user redmi note 10s my miui 12.5 doesn't have this feature.

I have a xiaomi redmi k50. It will not screen mirror to Chromecast using Google home app. It does cast using Chromecast enabled apps. And it does screen mirror using cast option in settings to Wi-Fi enabled TVs.
