- Finally back with some more Zelda! ♥ This one was a while in the making, but I finally got the inspiration to finish it. Hilda's theme has been one of my recent favorites since I beat Link Between Worlds. Hope you all enjoy!

Yuga held the Power,
Goals were mal-intended

Zelda held the Wisdom,

Or have I failed them all?
Yuga lacked the power to see the plan through, so he had to absorb it from Ganon.
Hilda lacked the wisdom to understand that there was a better way.
And Lorule's own Link... he lacked the courage to defy her, so he sought out one who did.
I've never though of it like that, even though it's so obvious
Funny Ravio Had Way More wisdom than Hilda
Amazing...it's another way they contrast the residents of Hyrule. It would be nice to see a sequel to the game & on the Switch, a full fledged console sequel
And Hilda had more courage… it’s cool how they kinda flipped courage and wisdom for lorule.

Hilda is literally my favorite character from Zelda, and you matched her perfectly. The desperation of bringing her kingdom back and the sadness she realizing that she hadn't done what was right is so real in this cover. I am in love!! 💜

I remember the first time I finished this game...
SPOILER ALERT!
When Link finally defeats Hilda, I had already empathized with her, and with her world. I didn't want to leave them sad and suffering, and maybe it was my naive mind, but when Link and Zelda return to Hyrule leaving Lorule in darkness, I got so worried. "NO! This isn't what I wanted! I don't want to leave them!" I yelled. And when you see the triforce in front of you, I knew, just like Zelda, just like Link, what the wish was going to be. And I actually totally honestly cried some tears when they wish to return Lorule it's triforce. Man! I love this game

Now that was an excellent characterization of Hilda in just two minutes of song. Rebecca's cover is beautiful and it is great to see that you are now writing your own lyrics for Zelda songs, you have a real knack for understanding the core of a character and can put it to great melody and music.
Hilda had such a tragic back story… it makes you feel so bad for her and what she had to go through…
I know this is old but "Zelda held the Wisdom far better than I could"....Oh my god that line is so deep and the emotion you have behind it, its just so absolutely beautiful and powerful. You deserve so many more subs.

"all for lorule" i never saw zelda saying "all for hyrule" i think hilda much better than her because of that not to mention that hilda didn't put faith in the ravio she worked herself.
I keep coming back to this... The lyrics and emotions in Hilda's last words "Did I failed them all?" give me intense feels

Fun fact: Hilda's theme is actually Zelda's Lullaby in reverse.
It's not though Zelda's lullaby in reverse is the ballad of the goddess
Not in reverse just mirrored
I believe it's the inverse. When the former goes up however many steps, the latter goes down by the same amount. Although now Im curious if Midna's Theme is anything because it is certainly different but has a lot of similar tendencies.
