- This took a lot of work, but it's finally finished! I bring to you a song I've been wanting to actually sing for quite some time, but this time with a special treat. Some on-screen lyrics and a visual video! Really hope you all enjoy this vocal rendition of the Legendary Hero opening from Wind Waker! :D

Okay hear me out, a zelda animation that tells the story of when ganon got revived and destroyed hyrule, I know it's sad but i kinda wanna see that part of the story unfold
@@zzultragamerV2 or an alternate timeline where zelda doesn't send link back in time and we get something of a twilight princess kind of timeline where who would've been known as the hero of twilight in the child timeline the bright timeline hero of twilight link would've been known as the Godesses' chosen hero! kind of like an exact mirror of the downfall timeline as well as having traits of the child and adult timeline!

@@retrohero8622 why do people think this.. they showed that everyone moves in time _together._ not one person individually. she sent EVERYTHING back in time, so it could go better this time (but with ganon staying sealed)
Had me in tears, it's like the happiness of my younger self completely took me over. All the memories... Zelda truly is the best game ever.
A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, & A Link Between Worlds! My 4 Favorite Zelda games, although I've beaten only 3 out of 4 of them. *HINT:* The one I *Failed* to beat isn't ALttP, OoT, or ALBW.

@Jordan Robshaw it’s not “bad” per say but I didn’t really like it. You have to monitor your weapons, etc. and it seems like too much for a Zelda game.

Long ago, there existed a kingdom where a golden power lay hidden.
It was a prosperous land, blessed with green forests, tall mountains, and peace.
But one day, a man of great evil found the golden power and took it for himself.
With its strength at his command, he spread darkness across the kingdom.
But then, when all hope had died, and the hour of doom seemed at hand...
...a young boy clothed in green appeared as if from nowhere.
Wielding the blade of evil's bane, he sealed the dark one away and gave the land light.
This boy, who traveled through time to save the land, was known as the hero of time.
The boy's tale was passed down through generations, until it became legend.
But then, a fell wind began to blow across the kingdom.
The great evil, that all thought had forever been sealed away by the hero...
...once again crept forth from the depths of the earth, eager to resume its dark designs.
The people believed that the hero of time would again come to save them.
...But the hero did not appear.
Faced by an onslaught of evil, the people could do nothing but appeal to the gods.
In their last hour, as doom drew nigh, they left their future in the hands of fate.
What became of that kingdom? None remain who know.
The memory of the kingdom vanished, but its legend survived on the wind's breath.
On a certain island it became customary to garb boys in green when they came of age.
Clothed in the green of fields, they aspired to find heroic blades and cast down evil.
The elders wished only for the youths to know courage like the hero of legend.

These parts of the song madr me cry
It’s dreadfully ironic that despite being the hero of time, time still wasn’t merciful to him. It brought him to his end as it does with everyone else.
I know I'm 5 years late, but that "On our knees, hear us pray" had me SHOOK. Gave me such chills! Awesome job!
Well for me it's when the song turns hopeful cheering for Link beating but then going to PLEASE HERO OF TIME COME BACK AND SAVE US... gets me. He would come back if he could but can't 😔

This was one of my favorite 3D Zelda Games
I picture a surviving group of Zoras swimming across the Great Sea and visiting the many inhabited islands and singing this song to the natives as a traveling minstrel group.

Knowing the implications of Majoras Mask, Heros Shade (Twilight Princess) that line just fills me with dread
This hero returned to his timeline.
And sadly @@Agueybana1978 he vanished from that timeline as well. 😔
The evil king emerges violently. He destroys towns, threatens innocent people. But just when all hope seems lost, the hero saves the day!
Okay, first of all, the Wind Waker was my favorite LoZ game, growing up. The intro always excited me, sailing the seas never felt boring or tedious, and it never failed to make me feel like I was part of the adventure. This cover you made, gave me chills! You captured it so well, your voice brought tears to my eyes and needed my heart pound! I can't thank you enough, for this! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go play some Wind Waker ⛵

Ww was my first Zelda game in a time before I fully understood English so this opening left this imprint on my mind, like I was jumping into this world with so much lost history that I might never learn about. It wasn't until oot was remade on 3ds that I got to experience this ancient legend by myself... Also this version is so cool.
I like coming back here once in a while to give my ears a treat
the lyrics are so well thought out , like the references to ocarina of time and how link could turn night into day with the ocarina and how he traveled from the kokiri forest to the zora kingdom ( or whatever you call it i never actually played the game myself) to the gerudo valley and the three triforces , wisdom, courage and power

Windwaker was the 1st game I ever played so this intro never had wait to me I thought it was just exposition and exposition and then later when occurring of time was released on virtual console on the way it absolutely blew my mind
I loved how you made it start with a Renaissance fell and then made it in to the best melody ever! (zelda melody.)
I'm so sad that I have only just now discovered this masterpiece. Lyrics really matched the visuals of the story and really captured the mood especially when everyone begged for The Hero of Time to come back and save them.

The wind waker is my all time favorite zelda game and the best music ever (my favorite song is dragon roost island) but this one is my second favorite though now it's even better

When I was a kid I just wanted to go on an adventure and fight evil as a hero like Link. I'll only admit this in a UA-cam comment, because it's so cheesy. I view climate change as that end of the world we have to fight to prevent. Fighting that is how I think I can feel like Link.

Yes. I mean, idk if you are familiar with the three timeline branches so I will just explain it to you.
So the first part of the whole TLOZ timeline so far is the Legend of the godesses and the hero of time. It begins with Skyward Sword and ends with Ocarina of Time. To Ocarina of Time, there are three possible endings, or branches.
The first one, the fall of the hero, is about Link not being able to defeat Ganon, causing a great war to happen, followed by the events of A Link to the Past.
The second branch is the childhood branch. It is like it is in the game. Link wins and Zelda sends him back into his childhood where he decides to look for Navi, causing the events of Majora's mask and the eventual begin of the Twilight Era with Twilight Princess.
The third timeline branch is the adult branch. There the hero wins and does not get send back to his childhood but remains an adult. He probably went on another adventure (what I can honestly understand because that boy hasn't seen much of the world) there he possibly settled down and died of age.
What he didn't know in the adult era (it could've also been after Link's death) is that Ganon and the forces of evil rose to existence again, forcing the king of Hyrule to drown the whole land under the sea with the power of the triforce after he had told the civilians to flee to the mountains.
(this is way too long I am sorry I hope I could help in some way)

Alpha-Wolf The Hero's Shade is Link from MM. It says in the Historia that if one becomes lost forever in the Lost Woods, they basically turn into whatever the Hero's Shade is. I forgot exactly what the name is. The point is that he got lost looking for Navi (it says he went to look in the Lost Woods), and never returned. The whole MM thing? Link died when he hit the ground chasing Skull Kid. That left his body there, and he turned into the Hero's Shade.
Dillon Evans If you get lost forever in the Lost Woods you get turned into a _Stalfos_, that's what the Hero's Shade is.
The Hero´s Shade is ooT Link but not because he got lost in the woods. He returned to Hyrule and grew up and lived his life, possibly as a knight of Hyrule due to the armor he is wearing (also, you can see scars in his face and body, hinting that he has seen many battles), but he died full of regret because he wasn´t remembered as the Hero of Time and because he couldn´t pass on his knowledge to someone else. When he finally teaches all the hidden skills to TP Link (His descendant) then he can finally rest in peace.
