Despite the nerf, Urgot mains are still using the Hullbreaker.
Controlling every 5 attack well will be more helpful.

Hullbreaker stacks with hunaans huuricane.
Meaning if there are minions, monters or other champions nearby you can get the extra damage every 2-1 attacks.
Every 5 attacks you get 3 bonus ad attacks.
Truly the moment of hullgot, to think we only just met and he will bid us farewell
A bit more on Urgot's powerspikes :
level 1 E makes you one of the best champions in game.
level 6 is a huge powerspike because of your ult (25% execute is strong, who would have guessed)
level 9 is when your W becomes a toggle and is your biggest powerspike.
the next spikes are level 11 and 13, because at those levels your passive cooldown is drastically reduced (5s and 2.5s respectively). At 13 your knee get their lowest cooldown, making it easy to proc multiple times during a trade.
On the opposite, level 7 and 8 are Urgot's weakest points in the game, because of his short duration long cooldown W.
Don't forget that at lvl 12 you already have enough attack speed to deal 2 hits with W and 1 AA 2W 1 AA...
Also noted that from 3-6 Urgot has 0 sustain and are extremely weak

@@Digger-Nick from 3-6 your powerspike is not good. Also your range was barely over melee champ. Also you got debuff from being range
@@Digger-Nick his 'shield' costs 60 mana. His mana pool is very low and he cant spam it. His range is nothing in comparison to actual range champs and its not hard to reach him. Thats why you see Urgot mains taking Cull (It's not for scaling. Every W tick of Urgot heals him for the full cull value. We buy it for sustain in lane). Urgot as a champion has 0 in built sustain

urgot is such a fun champ to play. You can be unkillable with armor and health while dealing absurd amount of damage.

Also using cull with your W gives you extra procs of the heal, not sure if they patched that this season
it does give you extra procs but on hit effects are less effective during urgot W so its not that busted. still better than most users of cull but word of advice, dont start that item if you value the lv 1 power spike
@@of5606 Youd be surprised to know its not less effective even though it 'should be'. Urgot W ticks heal him full value on Cull. Thats why we buy it so much

Dobby do u think the Aatrox change is gonna impact anything? Next Patch using Passiv on Minions results in a 2s lower cooldown then it does rn in 14.3 (for champions or epic monster u cant feel any change)

The problem actually is that hullbreaker is bugged with Urgot. Next patch its not a nerf, is a bugfix. Urgot W procs on-hit at 50% but for somehow reason the hullbreaker procs at full dmg. But yeah, the pick has been pretty strong since the new season started.
This isn't a bug because Hullbreaker isn't an on-hit but on-attack. Urgot W doesn't reduce on-attack, you can try with Runaan on dummies, you'll notice it does 100% on-attack and 50% on-hit on side targets.
Next patch hullbreaker becomes on-hit, some champs like Panth and Renek will get empowered by it since thier W only apply on-attack once and on-hit three times
But you can still turn off your W when your next auto is about to proc the Hullbreaker damage. This should still give you 100% proc damage.
@@milebackwardsyeah but that sucks, because you can not always keep it aligned with how you optimize dps on the champ by itself. You can do auto W 3 ticks Auto for hullbreaker proc, but then you would need to auto again or get your W proced 4 times into auto. Doable but any hit on minions makes your rotation weird and since your optimal dps is to 3 tick your W it is kinda hard to keep track of in a fight or to completely change your 3 dps rotations in an all in because you had to last hit a minion before all inning. Still good for turret pushing tho
Yes, but the difference with the actual hullbreaker is even a beginner not turning off W can do tons of damages, with on--hit this kind of players will do less damages@@milebackwards

just a heads up, early on your auto timer resets roughly every 3 W attacks. Later on it's probably the same, I don't remember. Just do every 3 W attacks, switch off, auto, switch on
0:55 kinda surprised no one mentioned this, but Q cost doesn`t go down with levels

Toggling W on and off not counting as an aa windup seems like a bug
Hull breaker on urgot will be nerfed next patch because its turning from on attack to on-hit so w will reduce damage. You could still get away with this by toggling w on an off i guess.

Here is the kicker, we Urgot mains actually warned rito about this before it hit live, because we knew how broken it would be. Urpog was the one talking to them directly

aint no way urgot can solo a olaf at any phase of game . its just impossible . u can only solo if olaf dont have ult and u scaled .

Dobby's only active in the KR server. Videos featuring streamers from different regions such as thebausffs only pop up when the streamers themselves go to Korea. If it's a viable pick in KR too then he might make a vid about it
I think Aatrox is the best CT for Urgot. Urgot cannot do anything against a good Aatrox player until Urgot Reaches lvl 11. Good Morde player will crush Urgot either.
Maybe try to deny Aatrox exp level 1 like Darius is the key.
Nope and nope. zurgot has many tools agaonst aatrox and can be distroyed easily. Morde too. Do not understimate the crab
I remembered playing this build at the first few week of the season but hullbreaker didn't work on Urgot's W at the time being. Somehow it's working now but Riot is gonna change it? :(

@@wooof8575katarina maybe but akali is a death sentence for gold players. katarina can roam bot and get a free triple kill and steamroll a game but akali is actually pretty difficult to make work without good mechanics and situational awareness.
akali also lacks the aoe potential of katarina so you really need to know your limits and be able to effectively kill your selected target in the midgame. plus if you get behind on akali the game is pretty much done but katarina can always come back with a good coinflip play.
personally i wouldn’t recommend most assassins in general until plat but that’s just me

I always liked fast paced gameplay and high mobility in every game i play be it combat games, action games, mmo..
so playing assassin feels the best to me.
You're right in saying akali is hard to master and mages and katarina will give him an easier time.
But only in the short terms.
Imo when you reach gold/plat is the time where u want to focus on a few dedicated champion pool that you truly enjoy.
So i guess my advice for op is to play what he likes and stick to it long enough to master it.

Urgot is BUGGED. This interaction is not working properly.
So, Lucian/Ezreal are lawfully strong.
Urgot is (ironically) illegally strong.
It is not a nerf hammer. It is a FIX hammer

It is not. The interaction with cull's healing can do quite some work but it's not as effective as D blade when your main objective is to bully lvl 1
It is good IF you stack it as fast as possible.

@@kingol4801 maybe it's because I played a lot more during season 2-6ish. I preferred that time when tanks were way tankier, but dealt far less damage. Theyve been upping damage ever since.

Riot don't like Urgot so he will be nerded unplayable. He is not riot's fave child. K'sante is one or riot favorite so he won't be nerfed and continue to be OP, unkillable while dealing tons of damage while building pure tank, can 1v5 easily and very mobile and agile, a riot favorite child like darius!

I don't play the game anymore but hullbreaker is always the biggest offender, why is it still in the game.
Hard to believe redditors are still insisting for Riot to make Urgot melee considering he's already a powerhouse with nerfed items and runes
He is ranged against other melee but melee against actual ranged champs.
