I'm 6'2, 175. 35 and surf daily. I'm definitely not at Jakes level of surfing. I have the Phantom 6'2 and a Pyzalien 6'3; both are "stock" dims. Off the bat, I found the Pyzalien to feel more natural and be faster. it felt like it had better hold, too. The Phantoms rails seem to be chunkier, I also found it slightly harder to duck dive
Thank you for yours videos.I thought that this time with this board you have reduce the volume to much. No? I think that's why in the flatted zones you had less speed.
imo the libtech boards can be a little stiffer feeling than pu boards. tbh i havent ridden them much so my input wouldnt have too much weight, but they do make some good models in those boards and a few of my friends ride them in the trestles area. they are durable and “do the trick”. i.e: they still surf good enough to catch waves/do turns/etc.. i am always looking for performance in the boards i get so i have stayed away from them as they are a bit less flexible and heavier.
Sounds good. As of right now i rode the inferno 72 in well overhead waves and was really surprised at the hold it had. I still have to get some varied conditions to see how it goes in different waves. @@robysurf
I would say the red tiger feels more fluid rail to rail but the speed projection was not there. The red tiger was a little more predictable feeling, but personally I like the lively feel of the phantom. The red tiger felt more stable surfing bigger waves and was a little more precise.

Your surfing on that phantom looks really clean! Can I ask you for a quick statement on the Mayhem (LibTech) boards in comparison to the Phantom?

Do you like the Phantom or sub driver 2.0 more?
the phantom feels a little better imo
Hi! As daily driver, do you prefer the Phantom or the Red Tiger?
Phantom!
@@jakewetzel3186 Thanks! I will wait for your review of Inferno 72 and then I decide which one I go for!
How do you find the Phantom and Red Tiger differ in terms of their feel, speed and manoeuvrability? @@jakewetzel3186

Great review! How would you compare this to surfing the Red Tiger?

Thanks for this detailed response, makes choosing between them a bit easier!
look that this board need good amount of wave.maby you will try the payzelian2 .the p2 have chunky rails..also the happy every day ci
my friend just got a pyzalien 2 and she loves it. I will have to get a few waves on it! Ya it needs a bit of push like waist to chest high
Int surfer looking for first DD..I know you've ridden lots of pyzels ..do you prefer phantom or pyzalien 2?
This board is next level speed as a quad. If you are struggling with speed in flat spots try it in quad
