I Love that the whole family is traveling together and enjoying all that yummy food, drinks and all the historic sites. If you get a chance you must visit Fajardo and definitely go to the Bio-bay…that will blow your mind and the kids will love it. Also, try Toro Verde zip lines in the town of Orocovis. So much to see and do in that little gem of an island. Thank you for sharing your video.👍👍👍👍

What you ate at El Jibarito IS NOT A TAMALE, THAT IS A PASTEL. Tamales are Mexican and made with corn in a corn leaf. Our pastel is made out of cassava, taro root and/or green banana like the one you ate, wrapped in banana leaves. They are both delicious but made with totally different ingredients and from totally different countries.

The big building is called Cuartel de Ballajá. It have it own history. The Museo de las Américas is the name of the museum. San Juan is more than old San Juan. Look in the map. Has a very modern area. San Juan with all his areas, join to other near towns form the "Area Metropolitana".
Is not empanada, it's empanadilla or pastelillo.

Regarding the humidity, try some looser shirts in linen. Think Hawaiian shirts, but in more solid or subtle patterns. They can be worn not tucked as you wander around and then if necessary tucked in with a belt if need elevate your look up to business casual.
Also, start using cooling neck wraps, they are a total game changer and they can be rehydrated throughout the day.
If you need to enter somewhere such as a nice restaurant you can put the neck wrap in a ziplock bag and into your day pack. Survival mode to Sophistication in a just a second.

    • @AlwaysBeChanging

@@AlwaysBeChanging Instead of the big blue ones that are everywhere and stand out like a sore thumb. The more stylish ones can be found on etsy, though REI has a couple of options.
We usually stick with tan, black or navy just to blend in with outfits. When you get back to your hotel/cruise ship at night just stick in your refrigerator for the night. Also at Ulta Cosmetics. they sell chafing products ..
For women …mega babe and for men.. mega man are in stick form are total game changers and easier to pack than the powder options.
Though if you do want to pack powder, in the cosmetic section at any CVS, Target pick up some cheap makeup replacement powder puffs, pour the powder on that then apply in the raw areas. This prevents wasting the powder and messes. Enjoy your Travels!
