Dont know for sure, but here are some pointers: N42/N46 has the same bolt pattern for the transmission bell housing, it also has the same crankshaft (B20's). Flywheel, clutch and clutch basket have different part numbers. So if it fits in the car, you should use the whole assembly, gearbox, clutch and flywheel.

Yes, but then you have to remove the front end or drop the engine + transmission with the whole front axle from underneath.
