T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park Campground has 119 campsites (with water & electric hookups) and is rated as one of the top beach camping areas in the nation. There is also primitive and group campsites. Cabins are also available for rent.
The park has two camping areas. Gulf Breeze camping area has 60 campsites (1-61) and Shady Pines has 58 campsites (61 to 119). Both campgrounds have campsites with 30 amp electric hookups and each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. There’s also a visitor center, playground, beach, boat ramp and picnic areas.

That has to be older than 3 years ago. Hurricane Michael hit in 2018, and the park either just opened recently or is getting ready to open now in Aug 2023. Hmmm???

Wow! We just opened the campground back up YESTERDAY since the hurricane Michael destruction in 2018. Things looks SO much different now!

It is sad what the hurricane did there a few years back. We're actually going to reshoot/photography the campground the end of this month and will post a new video in February.

It's not worth going now. No privacy what so ever, no shade. You have people in sites sitting in chairs looking at you all day
