Never say much but maybe I Should. I'm a retired IM/ER physician/biochemistry researcher who had stage four melanoma. I had ultra toxic not approved Chemo treatments that did nothing for me. On my death bed I went back to the science went full strict carnivore and in six months I had no traces of cancer and I am 7 years carnivore and cancer free. I know its anecdotal evidence but I wish more would at least try.

Thanks for sharing Roy. It's so hard to get people to open their minds to this not-so-new way of eating. Doctors have been using the carnivore diet to treat disease for 140 years! I am ignoring my doctors and not taking their prescribed medications to fight lupus. I'm so glad I found carnivore!

Everyone reading this needs to know. Stage 4 melanoma is a death sentence without any known traditional treatment. I have seen this with my own eyes. Melanoma is a VERY aggressive, fast growing cancer.
Roy needs to tell his story to Dr. Chaffee. The information could save many lives.

I had a boyfriend with stage 4 lymphatic cancer, and the hospital always had a sugar dessert and lots of pasta (carbs). When I saw what he was eating, I couldn't believed this was the food being given to all cancer patients in oncology. The nutritionists are useless.. they're obviously not aware that cancer patients should avoid all sugar and carbs. So easy to do. The hospital ended up giving him an overdose of morphine instead of changing his diet. It would have been so simple. Unbelievable how they don't care. I have lost faith in most doctors now and learn so much from these podcasts. I have never had a doctor who told me how to help myself. They're only pill distributors

the motive of profit is NOT the problem. the problem is government regulations that serve to block entrepreneurs from capitalizing on the profit opportunities. in a free market, the only way to profit greatly is to provide massive value.. all transactions in a free market are voluntary exchange of value for value...

@@kjlmailtime in a free or fair market its true.. but you can clearly see as doc Seyfried alluded to, when asked by chaffee, why this glutamine blocker/in tandem with the keto diet isn't being publicized ? Because it won't be in the best interest of one side,.. the pharmaceutical side that makes billions in chemo and radiation drugs and therapies . So yes, in this instance , I agree w Seyfried, it's all about profit.

@@marcgutierrez1173 why isn't a drug technology that would benefit millions of people.. why isn't that profitable to the pharm company that produces it? certainly there would be enormous demand for such a product, right? wouldn't the world be a much better place if the pharm company got filthy rich producing and selling such a product, in exchange for thousands upon thousands of saved lives? so, what is the hold up? the hold up is government where it doesn't belong.. medaling in the economics and limiting choice and free trade and voluntary exchange between consenting adults. we both recognize the fact of reality. the difference in our view is that we place the blame in different directions. unless i am mistaken (and i could be and if so, my apologies), you are vilifying the "evil" "corrupt" "greed-is-good" "capitalist-pig" "no-heart" "big pharma". It's true that you didn't say that explicitly, and so my interpretations that you are anti "profit motive" may be unfair. but either way, the real and ONLY villain in this story is the government and the FDA putting up unfair roadblocks to free trade. in an idea system, millions of lives are saved. and the Big Pharma are simultaneously insanely rich AND heroes of society.

@@kjlmailtimeI'm def not villifying anybody , but I do agree w what Seyfried said, it's about money . So was it the pharma execs or the hedge funds which own massive shares in these companies, that then profited fr these technologies? Maybe, maybe not. But someone did. What really gets to me about this whole deal kevin?? Idc about beauracracy or politics , 100% of the people I know personally , be it, coworkers, friends and family, all died using these treatments . I often thought the same but I am a breast TNBC survivor. I currently have a thyroid nodule on my left thyroid that is 5 cm. FNA said negative. I have a nodule on my left adrenal gland as of June 2022 it was small incidental. I have a lesion on my liver with hyper intensity. Also I have cysts on kidney and IPMN in my two pancreas duct. After this I had a colonoscopy I had 4 polyps. Biopsy reflected benign. You would think someone on my team would have the idea to complete a PET Scan. If they wanted to make money then why aren’t they doing more testing. My life style is non smoker who does not drink alcohol but I do love the sun in moderation but I live in the Midwest. I eat very little meat and my BMI is excellent. Most of my blood work gleams off the paper but it did so when I was diagnosed with Cancer. I have given up on our medical system. I missed my annual oncology appointment. I am not going to do anything with my thyroid since the FNA came back negative. I do not want another surgery and be on medication for the ref of my life, but why is it growing, why do I have a nodule on my left adrenal gland and lesion on my liver and little things in my pancreas ducts. I get really bad pain in my stomach upper and lower but I am done running from one Doctor to another.
I also rarely eat junk or processed food. I eat protein and lots of vegetables and fruits such as blueberries and raspberries. I stay away from the high sugar. Chemotherapy was very hard on my body.

I could be wrong, but the older doctor seems to say that healthy carbs are okay - but not very many carbs - and, that people eat too much of the wrong carbs - the white bread, pancakes, potatoes (usually french fries), sugary sodas and desserts, etc... instead of e.g., kale. (Intermittent Fasting and getting enough sleep also help the body get its rest, from what I discern from other videos.)
We can ALL agree that when people are in the hospital - for any reason, and even during a short stay, it appears that the "food" on offer is the lowest quality possible, most likely to keep the hospital profits at a maximum. Serving that type of "food" should be illegal.

I do not want to put my body into shock. Thank you again, I’ve started telling EVERYONE who will listen, about the health benefits of going carnivore. Hugs from New Zealand 🇳🇿😊🙏🏽👋🏽

How are you doing? Try and eat 30% protein and the rest animal fat. That is the recommended ratio. I also mentioned that because fat cannot fuel cancer cells, only glucose and protein.
That is one thing I hoped to hear in this discussion. A high animal fat diet should stop cancer immediately.
I did not hear this in the discussion.

I’d argue a higher fat and lower protein carnivore diet in your case because protein can be broken down into carbs and nitrogen waste. Check out Dr. Minkoff’s book, “In Search of the Perfect Protein”

I lost my mom to CRC a year ago myself. I feel your pain brother. They had my mom so toxic from chemo that her urine would burn skin if it made contact. I was 100% sure that the doctor was killing her, but she didn't know where else to turn. I told her about dietary changes she should consider, but she couldn't figure out how to completely overhaul her diet. I think for some people standard medical treatment is easier and more convenient than making the hard lifestyle changes that are the key to survival, until it's too late. I wish I had another chance to be more forceful with her as far as forcing her dietary changes.

I watched him get bullied and ridiculed by fellow staff as he passionately tried to educate us all on keto, as well as fighting to get vending machines out of our local hospitals. I was dumbfounded…. That was when keto was not well liked/known about in Australia and especially Tasmania. Look at where keto is now in the world!! 🎉 I found and find it so disheartening giving patients high carb foods and multiple meds in the medical/hospital systems, knowing that lifestyle choices could influence their health so much more positively! Nothing wrong with good carbs and sugar. Look up Gerson therapy.. I went to the original hospital. This Dr lacks a lot of key points. Your bodies preferred source of energy is glucolysis. Every cell in our body lives off sugar. It's the refined ones. One thing he touches on is, fermentation. Well it's know that people with large amounts of pathogenic content in their blood are the ones that have cancer. Makes your immune system overworked as it's always dealing with eradicating those. Makes it also hard for your immune system to distinguish if it's a healthy cell or a cancer cell. Cancer cells are our own so...

“We are what we eat “
For validation of this statement all one needs to do is take a visit to your local mall and look at the ubiquitous morbidly obese people waddling around shoving processed “goodies “into their cake holes
What the population must come to know is that there are consequences for their actions visa-vie diabetes, cancer joint destruction and the list goes on.
If we as a species persist with this destructive way of life we are destined to go the way of the dinosaurs.

23 years ago my husband at the time was diagnosed with brain cancer (encapsulated oligodendroglioma) I dove into researching ways to help him & found a book in the library discussing the role that sugar plays in cancer & tried my best to get him to try it to no avail. He did surgery/radiation/chemo, had a recurrence at 6 Mos (oligoastrocytoma) followed by more surgery/chemo. He has been cancer free since then, but continues to have seizures & all of the side effects from multiple seizure meds for over 20 years. This year at the age of 49 he had to enter assisted living. I can't help but wonder how different his quality of life would have been had he been willing to adopt a ketogenic diet early on.

Keto diet can still post high risk especially for brain cancer patients.
If you had adapted keto diet your husband might died faster.
Most cancers has 3 main fuel sources; glucose/fructose, glutamine and ketone(fat)
Although, keto alone might help some people with cancer but keto diet might accelerate cancerous growth in some.
If you do prolonged keto diet you should also consider ketone inhibitors such as garlics, red algae, flax seeds etc.
you can get the full list from Dr eric berg videos

But with heart disease ( 2 attacks and one quint bypass) and T2D, managing survival I can see is 'just keep doing what you're doing." you might look into incorporating intermittent fasting. As Dr Seyfried mentioned, a keto mojo is handy for tracking glucose and ketones. The most effective way to drive ketones up and glucose down is fasting. The lower the glucose and higher the ketones, the more stress it puts on the cancer because cells with normal mitochondria are happy using ketones but cancer cells can’t.

Thank you so much. It’s the first time I’ve heard anyone speak about the same things I’ve believed for years. The longer 8 watched & listened, the more I was captivated. I wish these concepts would be widely accepted in health care in UK instead of blindly continuing with toxic treatments. Whenever I have spoken about this & the nutritional side which I learnt as a teenager, people just think I’m mad! I think the most difficult thing to understand is when someone is diagnosed & often treated for any cancer, why they just continue with the same old lifestyle afterwards. It doesn’t help when our GP’s & others don’t have nutritional training. There is so much more I could say but for me you said it all. ❤️💫⭐️✨🌟

I went in for my Diabetes Education yesterday and she commented I was one of the few patients who had done my glucose monitoring religiously. The reason is I was Intermittent Fasting and mostly one or two meals a day and protein dominant the whole year. When I brought up Carnivore she said I needed low fat protein and carbs (fruit or vegetable) with it and five or six small meals a day. She told me I would probably need insulin in six or seven years. And she lowered the threshold I should be at two hours after a meal from 160 - 180 as printed in the book to 160, and at bedtime she crossed off the 100 - 140 and left me the goal of 100 when I had been hitting 98 or so at that time. Talk about moving the goalposts! Trust me, I will be well below all those markers. Let’s see what they have to say next year!!! Hopefully I will moving far away at that time. And she marked down I should maintain my weight at 318 POUNDS! #$%& Um, no, I will not be maintaining at that weight. Sheesh! 🤣😂😁🤨🧩🤷🏼‍♀️💩🤡

I was 12-15yrs old when I had osteosarcoma of my left proximal tibia and then it metastasized into my left lung. While I was doing treatment I hated every moment of it and told them that the chemo would kill me before the cancer did. They finally sent me home and wished me luck only AFTER they did experimental surgery on me called limb salvage surgery and told me I should be happy that I was alive even though I did not live a life like most people. To this day I hate everything about the medical field, have no respect of it, and refuse to take the medication‘s, I’d rather fix things naturally as I have learned there are worse things than death… I have had hormonal problems and suffer from endometriosis and at this moment I have a very large cyst on my ovary, bad gastrointestinal problems along with other many side effects of the chemotherapy. People think that I am ungrateful for what has happened and I correct them and say that I am VERY UNGRATEFUL and I do not care what anybody says because I see the evilness in the industry and capitalism. I wish I could sue the cancer industry. They don’t want to fix anything, there’s too much money in it for them and a drug dealer does not like another drug dealer on their territory. So, this is where we will stay and no matter how many times you tell people there’s something better they are so brainwashed they refuse to believe it. The doctors refuse to listen even though I personally know people who cured their cancers naturally they never report it. I’m not saying there is no hope for change of cancer treatment, I just know there’s only hope for those who ARE NOT AFRAID and take chances (something they have gone out of their way to make people think they can not do.. people are STILL wearing masks….😷) I’m glad to hear all of this because this is exactly what I have speculated for many years but I’m not a doctor and only perceived as a resentful ungrateful ex cancer patient and I should get over it and be fine or happy I’m alive…🙄🥱But I’ve learned not to care about everything that’s going on with the medical field. I see the same evil in the eyes of the people making money.. (no matter the industry) what is worth more LIFE or the “Love of MONEY..🤑”
