Carnivore Rebel here! Please listen people, I am begging every family member and friend to please stop the processed foods and go carnivore or keto. My family has gone through hell this month July 2022. Three family members got Covid. Two were hospitalized. I brought them home and worked like a crazy person cleaning out their refrigerators and dumping all the crap processed foods. I cooked Real Food and cleaned. I had everyone's cooperation because I nearly died 8 months ago. I had Covid for the 3rd time and refused hospitalization. My family and my Long Covid Recovery Team went nuts when Dec 29, 2021 I dumped all MEDS and immediately ate one day fasted 2 days for one month. I switched to OMAD and am carnivore. My sister went back in the hospitol July 16 and they intubated her. She didnt make it. ALL BECAUSE SHE WAS GIVEN A TON OF PILLS AND WAS METABOLICALLY DISFUNCTIONAL. Dammmmm she was ready to CHANGE, I HOPE YOU ALL ARE!!!! I grew up on a farm , I have gone back to how I was raised. Good fats, lots of fats. My brother in law , who is usually never sick, is now recovering from Covid and now eating all meat. Yesterday I was diagnosed with the most recent varient of Covid, caught from my sister. Scripps ran multiple tests and said, " Whatever YOU are doing KEEP IT UP", YOU are far more healthy than you were 9 months ago and NO MORE FATTY LIVER". Dr. Chaffee, I'm wondering what you think about Judy Cho's assertion that a "beef only" carnivore diet can lead to a thiamine deficiency, especially if someone is coming into this way of eating with a thiamine deficiency. I''ve been mainly following the ''beef only'' crowd and I''m starting to wonder. OK, let’s get one thing straight, your liver is still producing glucose(neoglucogenesis) which goes into the blood stream and your brain uses some of this glucose for the majority of its energy still. When we are on long term keto or carnivore diets our blood glucose levels are the same as they have always been due to neoglucogenesis in the liver. As for your experience with your honey and fruit, they certainly would have cause an insulin spike and this may have had something to do with the way you felt.

@Dust Storm actually I’m coming from a low carb diet mainly and I just eliminated vegetables, sugars and dairy. I always felt good using coffee and some seasoning on my meats. Just basically weaning things off till I get to full carnivore. Maybe the bloat is from changes in gut microbiome?
Both need to be higher quality. Ruminants are more forgiving with regard to their diet. Nitrates are a silly issue. Sugar in processed meat and histamines are an issue.
My view of the accuracy of oral transmission changed a lot when I heard a Buddhist scholar say we can’t rely on that book because it was written down and could contain the author’s agenda - rather than the more reliable, public, open, memorized orations.
It''s sad that so many Buddhist teachers/spiritual teachers die from the same preventable illnesses as everyone else: Type 2 Diabetes, Heart Disease, Strokes and more because most of them are vegetarians and vegans.
Wild types, yes. Not the selectively bred and human-engineered varieties. And the wild types still weren't great to eat in large amounts *long-term*. They were limited to seasonal availability at the very least.
@@3100fps Are you eating enough fat? I find that rib eyes and bone-in short ribs are perfect, whereas ground beef and leaner cuts require the addition of tallow, butter or ghee. Make sure you're drinking enough water and add keto electrolytes if you are active and/or spend a lot of time in the heat. Steak and Butter Gal gained before she lost. Super frustrating but muscle weighs more than fat and muscle grows without even working out on carnivore.
Seasonally, yes. And not all cultures. The further north you go, the less fruit is available. The apples from even the 1800s weren't the same as the ones today.
But the fruits and berries of today are nothing like what some ate for millennias. That''s the difference and why liver disease and type 2 diabetes, obesity, heart disease and stroke are rampant in our society. "The dose make the poison."

I felt bloated and messed up tummy for months…now im ok…just takes time.
what’s the deal with bacon ?
pig fat and chicken fat have linoleic acid which might increase insulin resistance, paul saladino says its not optimal.
@@michaelmagnon9309 Pretty sure fruit and honey is worse for insulin resistance 😬😂
@@michaelmagnon9309 fck saladino, he is eating 300g of sugar every fkn day, so the pork is much better than that bullshit he is doin
Eat it, it has more fat than any other meat 🥩
@@Terri_2.0 Yes it is. ⛪️✝️
People have literally been consuming fruits and berries for millennias. This thing is unknown only to quacks
Wild types, yes. Not the selectively bred and human-engineered varieties. And the wild types still weren't great to eat in large amounts *long-term*. They were limited to seasonal availability at the very least.
@@3100fps Quit trolling and find something better to do. You're not helping anyone by spreading your bullshit.
