I came down to comment the same thing. I am a retired GP, forced early retirement due to Degenerative Disk Disease. Two of my lower Disks got bad enough while working that it caused extensive nerve damage. Paralyzed in my right leg and half of my left leg is hyper sensitive. I have a chronic lower back hernia.. sometimes I'm on so much pain I vomit or pass out
Nerve pain is absolutely devastating.
I came down to comment the same thing. I am a retired GP, forced early retirement due to Degenerative Disk Disease. Two of my lower Disks got bad enough while working that it caused extensive nerve damage. Paralyzed in my right leg and half of my left leg is hyper sensitive. Bumping it gently can feel like slamming several hammers on it.... this isn't counting the horrid back spasms that make me pass out and pain that shoots through both my legs almost constantly.

No Name my friends dad has them pretty commonly, i went over to his house once and just heard screaming from upstairs for about 5 mins, it gives me chills thinking about it and i truly empathise with those who have them

A man was given organ surgery (I don't know on which organ the patient got surgery on) and was given medications to not flinch or have any muscle spasms. They forgot to make him fall asleep, and ALSO forgot to give him anti- pain medicine. Because the surgery was professionally done, he was put in extreme pain where he could do nothing about it for almost fifteen minutes until the doctors found out. After his memory of the experience was erased, he got anxiety, nerve pain stimulation spasms, and a case of mnemophobia, the fear of memories and tramic pain.
