Thank you for exposing so many awful misdeeds inflicted on innocent creatures who cannot defend
themselves! If we get mad enough, speak out and write petitions to change this status quo, we will at last act the way we're supposed to: living in harmony and caring for all creatures on the planet. Thank you to
all the good folks who investigate these cases and who do so many good deeds!

My dad bought a house. It was a bank foreclosure and the previous owners basically just up and left. The previous owners had installed cages in the two car garage with floor to roof cages and were breeding rabbits. When they left, they left the rabbits. No one knew they were there. When bunnies are left without food, the eat each other. The last ones to die, died from starvation. By the time the bank realized they were there, they were already dead. So my dad ended up buying a house with a garage full of dead bunnies and 8 inches of bunny poop.
There was also some random, makeshift barns on the property. One had a cow carcass and the other had a dead turkey in it.
Beyond all that, the house was trashed because the previous owners also had goats that they kept IN the house. We also found out later we had an insane amount of bats in the attic. My dad bought the house for cheap and gutted it and remodeled it himself. He just didn’t get to finish it before he passed away.
Have pictures as proof and it’s just insane
Idk why I don’t post these ridiculous stories on my yt channel.

By the way....I owned two Ball Pythons, back in the 80's. They each had their own 110 gallon aquarium turned into a terrarium, with heat/warming rocks, water bowls, nest and cave. I took them out once a week, and let them roam my house. They never were a danger or aggressive. And one was 12 feet long. I handled them all the time. They got a mouse, once a week, to eat. I videoed their hunting and kill skill for my daughter, in 3rd grade. She would show the video at school and even took their shed "skin" to class. She got an A+ for her Science grade. And my daughter became so popular in that school, in Norfolk, VA, because of her Science projects. The teacher had me bring in the 12 foot snake, for my daughter's "show and tell". The kids loved it, as they got to handle the snake for themselves. That Python never got aggressive or nervous, throughout the school "adventure"....lol.
Funny thing is.....the white mice I fed my Pythons, came out a little marble sized white fur ball....lol. Amazing....lol.

8:30 When my late wife and I visited Bangkok in 2011, we asked around to find the best place to eat. The same answer kept coming back. It sounded like "Fourteen Market." So, we kept asking, "Where is the Fourteen Market?" We were getting on one of the long-tail boats for a ride around the canals of Bangkok and asked the driver. He told us he knew and after our tour, he would take us there. That is when we found out everyone was saying "Floating Market" not "Fourteen Market."
So, we get there and walk to one of the restaurant boats, basically just a couple of tables with a stove, just a floating cooking space. The older woman behind the stove had us sit down. She baited a hook, dropped it in the river, and pulled up a nice Swai. Since it is a type of catfish, the Swai are scavengers, so she dropped the guts into the river and the feeding frenzy stirred the water. The meal, a type of fish and vegetable curry, was excellent.

The thing with the tortoises is it wouldn't have even happened if they were really doing their job of keeping an eye on the protected areas they were inhabiting- That's for all animals endemic to Madagascar and not only the tortoises found in the video. These illegal traffickers, almost all the time, get help from said officiers to sneak in, collect and traffick under the radar but end up discarded once the secret is out and investigation is done- The investigators, sometimes with other officers who were aware of the investigation going on, take over the trafficking and share profits- Hiring ppl to do it for them in order to not get caught unless the arrested ones confess but their crimes are disregarded due to the power they hold. Then they give another story (like how they were/are sent to shelters or all died for example) to the public to bury the story until it gets uncovered by someone else- And back to square one (no one really does anything to stop it as they are even willing to risk it and join to at least be able to cater to their needs for a while with their circumstances- For them it's a matter of life and death and they don't have much to loose)

For 4000 dollar each, shouldn't they treat the tortoise better before selling them?

Since it's illegal, maybe they can't build a better facility for them, so they tried to hide them by stacking them in a house, which clearly they don't know how to manage since they were not educated for that job, all they know is sell. They are just plain idiots

Dangerous my ass. Their shy solitary creatures who ball up when they feel scared or in danger and their pretty docile.
Unless he meant dangerous to other animals yes, but it does depending on their size and the size of their prey.
Besides that all the animals in this video....my heart goes out to them

Animals really deserve more respect, a harsher punishment wouldve been a better messege to all those out there thinking about commiting these kinds of crimes could get a similar punnishment if they were caught. But still, thank god they were stopped.
