Inserting & Removing Your Orthokeratology Lenses

Follow the steps in the video to insert and remove your Ortho-K lenses. In addition to the video guide, make sure to follow these extra tips:
DO'S:
-Disinfect your lenses every day after removal.
-Only use the Aquaclear Peroxide solution to disinfect your lenses. Alternatives can be harmful to the coatings on the lens.
-Only use the approved solution in the lens before insertion, Lumen Optometric will always provide our patients with complimentary solution for you to use.
DON'TS:
-Don't use tap water in your lenses, to handle your lenses, or to clean your lenses.
-Don't wear your lenses for more than 5 minutes before bedtime
-Don't wear your lenses for more than 5 mins after you wake up
-Don't wear the same lens for more than 12-13 months. Older lenses warp and become more brittle with time.
