Canada to Kentucky Ride - Featuring Oliver Anthony! Watch till the end!

While the ride south through Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky was great, seeing Oliver Anthony live, for free, in Paintsville, Kentucky was pretty incredible!
I absolutely love riding in Kentucky! So many great routes full of curves and hills! We took many different roads and secondary highways, but the Country Music Highway 23 was pretty cool! Did you know that Paintsville was home to Loretta Lynn, Chris Stapleton, and Tyler Childers, among others?
When we were going through town, Paintsville was enjoying their duo of fall festivals held in unison, "Applefest" and "Alleyfest"! Applefest, included a carnival downtown as well as a huge variety of vendors and street food, while Alleyfest brought three stages of all day music!
Along with Oliver Anthony we were treated to other artists such as Willy Watson, Corduroy Brown, Nathan Arnette, and many others! Quite a treat!
What struck me more than anything though was how incredibly friendly everyone was no matter where we were in the area! So many people wanted to come talk to us, curious about the camper trailer behind the goldwing perhaps, but genuinely friendly people! One time in a parking lot a couple of fella's even came over and prayed for our safe travels! Did I mention that I love Kentucky?
