The asian arboreal group of spiders are a really amazing looking group of tarantulas and the P.sp Ackaya is no exception, we have waited a long time to find a confirmed female to start our future breeding projects.

A beautiful enclosure for a beautiful spider. I thought that she was very patient with the paintbrush tickling to get her to move, I sat there waiting for her to become feisty!

The beauty of most Phormingochilus spp are best admired in person. Pictures seldom do them justice. Akcaya is one of my all time favorites and has a special place in my collection. They were the first Ornithoctoninae spp I purchased and the first that I bred. I'm lucky enough to have a female on an eggsack right now and another being paired shortly. If you can successfully breed Sabah Blue, you'll definently be able to breed Akcaya. Best of luck with the project sir and cheers from the other side of the pond.

Wow, the finished enclosure is like a piece of art it is absolutely beautifully done, all of your enclosures are always amazing. I have noticed a lot of other channels now use the moss on top of the substrate it really does make the enclosure look so much nicer!

Beautiful spider o have a p. Rifus sling hoping to branch out to get some more of the genus soon myself. And my sub adult krach3n female I haven't seen her for a few weeks now but I've just left her be she's closed everything off she was looking more brown in colour last time I seen her so she's in later stage of moult cycle and is or most probably moulting but can't wait to see her when she comes back out again for food 😊❤. I tend not to worry if I don't see my spiders out and some I leave for weeks at a time too but I have the odd quick checks but I dont disturb they do k ow what they are doing x
