Amazing. A knock-off, of a knock-off, of a knock-off, knocking off a real amp. Yes, that's the correct amount of knock offs. Now that we have that clear, I looove the Joyo Am-Sound!
From stereo outs on Boss Rv6 reverb pedal, connect to 2 American Sound pedals, then into Recording interface (Presonus Audiobox) left and right stereo configuration. Tweak to your own taste !
Hi. Since you've got both - do they have the same PCB layout? I want to make a mod to bypass the cabsim. I know how to do it on joyo, but not sure if ammoon has the same internals. Could you please check that?
Joyo, Ammoon and Harley Benton are all different "brands" of the same company. I was even noticing some Joyo listings on Amazon displayed Ammoon pedals. Some of this is regional (Harley Benton seemed to be sold in Europe, but was the same as Joyo), or it may just be rebranding for one reason or another, but a LOT of the Chinese pedals share circuitry and parts.
ok let me exsplane china joyo have more then one company to swich back in forth from get bad review no problem open new account have bad credit go to other company name loads of thees china pedals are joyo even biyang like a curry house that went down for food posion just open up under a new name new company same person that neaRLY DIED ON FOOD POSION IS NOW GIVING US RAVEING REVIEWS LOL SAME PERSON THAT HATED OUR PEDAL IS SAYING ITS BEST PEDAL THEY EVER BOUGHT NOW SAME PEDAL ANOTHER SCAM THEY DO is send you somthing you think is cheap and when you get it it is so half assed un useable but looked so good they offer you up to 50 percent off the asking price to drop the case cause shipping to china so much you think you win no they doubled ther mony still was all part of the plan
Both of these sound pretty awesome! The Ammoon sounds to be a little thinner and crisper, slightly less muddy, which I quite like... But that whistling sound was nasty... I see in another comment that the gift receiver hasn't experienced it, so that's a positive!
I've tested them, and they're definitely the same. The differences are probably just the differences you would get from any two ones from the same batch.
pedals can take difernt amps on the 9v example some run on 9v1a some 9v2a ect some people use wrong one blow the jack or get noise then give bad review reason pedals should come with a 9v as there are difernt 9volt adaptors requierments for difernt pedals then you have difernt pedals inside other pedals shell and name example biyang tone fancy metal end and amoon makes one as well with biyang housing amoon board says biyang and look like it compleat difernt board and 9v adaptor
Hey! Great video! I was wondering if the joyo works well into the fx return, completely bypassing the amps pre section... I'm asking you this because since there's no way to switch on and off the cab simulation, it could sound weird with the real amp's speaker.
You just need to look under the cover. As already mentioned here, they are really identical. Are absolutely identical smd boards marked JOYO. The same thing in a box from Harley Benton. All of them have a buffered bypass, so their connection to one another is not entirely correct for comparison.
Just look at them they're exactly the same except for the screen printed words. Anybody take the screws off and look at the board? I bought an AMOON Dyna Compressor and it was stamped Joyo JF-** inside. I would bet $100 its the same circuit, if not even stamped JOYO. We're basically comparing 80's Chevy and GMC - kind of pointless as they're exactly the same.
I don't think the joyo is a true bypass. So if you have it in the signal chain it will alter the sound. They sound really close though. I read some bad reviews on the Ammoon concerning reliability.
Joyo has a much stronger bass response. I'd be more inclined to the Ammoon if it weren't for that glitch it had (could be your power supply as the joyo has some crazy hum too that my AC tone doesnt on an isolated supply)

knock-offception... eventually they'll be free
We need to go deeper
They're identical out of the same factory. I've got one of each, and I use em in stereo for recording. They're great.
how?

true!

My thoughts too. Minor differences but not significant... apart from the glitch.
So why does one sound pretty good and the other dull and lifeless?
is it in there same electronic components....can you open and see it... :)
maybe is a just one more rebranding
Ammoon customer review in Amazon reads "Has a constant high pitched whistling noise."
porta that high piched sound is the power supply, put a battery in it, or get a better power supply unit, they make all the difference

All my friends here put it on the return
it runs as an amp pluged into your pc how ever you need a good sound card for it to record with no latencey= delay in your playing draq
Another brand horse American sound pedal is the same like this two?

Just got the joyo and had the same issue with the ringing but it only does it when the volume is cranked, so at least it’s not un-usable
joyo is the manufacturer. these are rebranded as ammoon, and Harley Benton. probably more.
In fact, I think it's like that
So why does the Ammoon sound like a piece of crap compared to the Joyo?
@@stefanslavickz5570 maybe cheaper components for the rebrands?
yes same with biyang metal end king amoon in a biyang shell not as good and causes mixed reviews of a real nice pedal

That American sound joyo sounds like a vintage Tweed mixed with a black face at breakup ! 😂 it's miracle
aunt jenifer I'd have never believed it if I didn't own one. Truly amazing sleeper pedal.
There's a difference, I like the amount better.
Wonderful, thanks!

mine just died 10 days after i received
Can you plug these directly into an amp? If so, do you get the same results?
I don't own an amp at the moment! So I can't tell you. I'm sure you can feed it into an amp but the amp will then add it's character to the sound.
thanks! i'm impressed! quiet similar, but Joyo is better... I think
Next time try to reduce the volume of the recording when the pedal freaks out. Almost blew my ear drums. Good video other than the hearing loss haha
Joyo has a much stronger bass response. I'd be more inclined to the Ammoon if it weren't for that glitch it had (could be your power supply as the joyo has some crazy hum too that my AC tone doesnt on an isolated supply)
Maybe a problem with the power supply. I used a Joyo multiple power supply. The guy I gave the Ammoon to has had no problems so far.
Joyo for the win.
I prefer the American sound one.
Ah I see what you did there
@@lowercase3635 You are both wrong. The orange one clearly sounds better than the one with the six dials in two rows of three.
Froto: Amen!
Can't be the same. Slightly different colours.
Half the sound of a Joyo? What, did they pay you to take it?
That noise ... Whistle.... Na, spend 10$ more get the Joyo. Thanks.
You forgot there is a drive knob. Try it. It moves !!!
Joyoo nice
Joyo, bom D +(++++
o problema é o chiado ...
Parece q o segundo tem menos xiado
@@quartodeguerraoracaopodero85menos chiado e menos orgânico
i hate joyo ac tone should have bought american, but m planning for nux ds3 now
