Thank you for the guide. I just broke my port pulling out a usb 3 male plug, the plastic inside is extremely brittle.

Mine looks worse and computer does not boot anymore. Lenevo told me that motherboards is dead due to broken usb port. Was the same thing for you ? Not able to boot ?
