Just came to say thank you. I was using your guide a couple of years back from now, I think. But the video still stayed in my Watch later list and I totally forgot to thank you back then. My apologizes :) I went the same path with replacing top case on my UX410UF (or UX410UFR as it says in SMBIOS). Both 310 and 410 models are visually identical and even internally there are not really many differences (so far I only saw a different SSD, the rest seems the same, at least in terms of disassembly). So that still helped a lot.

What thermal pads were used?

Where is hard disk and ram???

I don't see the bluetooth card. Mine is having issues, so I wanna know where is it located ?

Thank you so much for making this video. It helped me save a perfectly good laptop from getting trashed. One tip I have is using flush cut snips on the plastic nubs. They're faster and safer. Cheers!

Hi so I have the exact same laptop and apparently it only has 1 RAM stick of 8gb ddr4 3200mhz, and i want to upgrade it to 32gb (2* 16gb) just what is its form factor? SO-DIMM or U-DIMM? love ur videos btw <3

Let's just leave it at "not customer repairable". Getting it out is one thing, getting a new/repaired logic board back IN would be a nightmare with all those tiny connectors and ribbon cables to keep track of and deal with re-connecting... And I thought the 2013 Trashcan Mac Pro was rough... Sheesh...

Water fell on the keyboard with it on. I turned off, took the water out and left it 1 day drying in my car, in the heat. I opened it and there was no water inside. I dried with a cold dryer. Can I turn it on? Or should I wait more time?

Overall, I am very impressed with this video and believe it will be an incredibly valuable resource for anyone looking for a guide to replacing the keyboard on an MSI GE72 Apache Pro. 😊👏

hi ! nice video ;) do you know what is the procedure to reset the cmos for the exact same model ? no button seem to be on the motherboard, and we have a black screen after the customer have change the priority of the gpu on the bios. Thanks for you help. Best regards

Hi, thanks for this video. I wanna buy laptop like this. But I wander if there is "liquid metal" in cooling system. If it is can I swap it by any thermal paste? Is there are difference between Intel and AMD processors - I'm interested in TDP only - thanks.

I've had my laptop for 4-5 years and the GPU fan stopped working so I used this video to figure out how to replace it and also put new thermal paste which surprisingly for me, the old one wasn't completely dry. Thanks for the help!

Can the keyboard be cleaned with alcohol without damaging it? They gave me this laptop because the owner used it and some keys get stuck because the owner spilled milk on the PC and they have never cleaned it.

I dont know if youre still replying to comments on this but if im removing my fans to clean them out to drop my gpu temps would i need to repaste the cpu and would i have to clear and remove anything else to get it running smoothly again
