- The Koala Sanctuary was amazing! It really was the best day ever! The highlight was being able to interact with and feed the kangaroos. We were not expecting to be able to do this. This is part two of the Koala Sanctuary videos. Located in Brisbane, the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the perfect place to see kangaroos and other Australian wildlife. It is the first and largest koala sanctuary and has been around since 1927.
We loved feeding the kangaroos and interacting with them. They were so calm and gentle. The kids just loved being around the kangaroos. It felt like we were living a dream.
The sanctuary is much like a zoo. It was fun to see multiple animals from Australia. It is truly a display of Aussie wildlife. We enjoyed seeing koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, platypi, exotic birds, crocodiles, dingos, and many more animals.

So nice to see you all experience our Roo's, the children sure loved it 👍
You are fabulous Parents!. I's an Aussie Male just over 72 years of age, and, by heck, I count this as pretty much the best I've ever seen where Family and kids so beautifully interact with, in this case, Australian Wildlife. All good, and then some. One point. At 5:41, the kangaroo Grace was 'patting', was what we call an 'Old Man' kangaroo, he is the Boss, the Leader of his 'Mob' , I'm slightly surprised that he let himself be approached, let alone touched. This is indeed, a very good bit of family history!.
Grace is so sweet and brave. Feeding that one a single pellet at a time was so cute 😂😂
As an 80 plus Aussie , i am so pleased to se how you are enjoying your stay here
02:06 Im an Aussie, I've seen roos etc my whole life, in fact theyve cost me one car as a write off. This is the most beautiful interaction Ive seen with a lovely young child. WELL DONE PARENTS!
Go pet it 😮
Its go pat it ❤
awesome experience!! Very cute both gangaroos and your kids😊😊❤❤
Who loves this family ???
❤️
Yeah one thing you don’t do with Roos is crowd them or grab around the necks I was holding my breathe when you little grace did that no matter how chill they maybe they will have a go at you if they feel threatened. Those back legs and claws will do some nasty damage.. I know it hard not to cuddle them as they so cute especially the babies.. awesome that they kids got to experience the Roos. 😊🥰🇦🇺
they're domesticated roos though. but yeah what you said definitely applies to roos in the wild
@@DaveWhoa seen tame Roos attack in the zoo etc they feel treated and trapped so when they have had a enough they will go you.
Yes at a place in Yeppoon QLD with 'domesticated' roos, a big one was about to attack my 2 year old
@@DaveWhoa Apples to all
It's amazing how those joeys fit in there! I'm not sure who had more fun there - the kids or Mom and Dad?
Yes, we all had so much fun!
น่ารักจังเลยสาวน้อย
too adorable
Play golf in Canberra and you’ll encounter Roos, indeed it can be said of most regional courses. I have about 20 in my yard most days … cute and cuddly but in plague proportions and a major road hazard. Here where I live there’s generally quite a few roadkill in every kilometre. But please be careful around them. Luckily these are well accustomed to human contact
Kangaroo leather ..they use for motorbike racing leathers alpine stars the brand.
mmmm roo, i know a scottish guy that does the best fried roo meat.
It’s not a kangaroo it’s a wallaby

The kangaroos were moulting their summer coats to prepare for winter. Actually, I am really concerned that some of those animals looked neglected and underweight. Lone Pine has always exploited their animals. The platypusses never lived in the display tank. They live on concrete floors and when viewing time comes, they are loaded into a device that flings them into the tank, where they swim to entertain people. I know someone who worked there. The device broke down one day and he had to toss them up and into the tank by hand. Never worry about a kangaroo's arms. It can disembowel you with its feet while balancing on its tail.
Oh please be careful around kangaroos and you're little ones they can disfiqure quickly with their claws
So cute
