    That bricks are in perfect shape, is so easy to go fast, you have to see the bricks in my city, some are more deformed than an ameba...

      We get alot of variaty in bricks, these are probably one of the better bricks we get in melbourne some of them are really bad especially on the heads

    looks really nice. where I am we use wall ties to tie the brick in with the wall behind. do you use anything like that?

    You need a good hod carrier, picking bricks up from ankle height, slow and no good for your back long term

      @@dragginmedown Bullshit I 've built fireplaces and other structures houses, church's and laid in excess of 1500 a day every day. If you didn't you were viewed as a puck second string want to be.

    who cares .. more important to do a nice, neat, good job than be a speed merchant and it looks dog rough, like what i see here, i sometimes laid 1400 in a day and often 800/900 but it depends what you are doing but i reckoned a good average was 600-700 I once worked for a builder who said he had worked on a big site and there were 40 "bricklayers" on site but said only 5 knew how to lay bricks properly..!

      @@a.f4110 Still need a backing. Because it is not required that does not make it right. Moisture can pass through brick. What is stopping it from wetting insulation and causing mold? Brick is not water proof. Don't forget weep holes which allows trapped moisture to leave.

    Just laying bricks, not bothering about the state of the bricks, the majority needs cleaning, when does that get done, correct, never. Slow down, take a bit more care, or is it just make as much doe as possible, fuck the customer. standards N/A

      the black shit all over the bricks is part of the brick, hes not smudging the only thing he's not doing is filling up the backs which will get pulled on jobs with private inspectors.

    You are ripping off your customers with that half assed procedure for buttering the head joints! They are only full on the front, proper bricklaying teaches you to COMPLETELY fill the head hoint front AND back. Why are you doing it like a used car salesman - what are you saving, 1/10 a second on every brick? Total B.S.
