Awesome build, hit the like button 3 times!!
I like something in particular that you said in a recent video. “I might not do it the way everyone tells you, but I can show you how I do it”. I support you brother!
Wow great sharing🙏
Thanks for watching! I just hit record and start working.👍🏽
That turned out well 💕 thanks for sharing your creativity and skills with us! 💕🙏🏾
Making pictures in the dirt. Remember how fun that used to be growing up 😄…. I still enjoy it these days and thanks for your thoughts Donna.
Beautiful raised beds
Thanks Lashus. I can see your garden in the future with some creative ideas. Your husband is good at it.
You garden coming along it’s turned out very nice … you are very creative
I need 3 more to me to get half of what I want to do done. Blueberries ✅
Everything looks so organized and peaceful. Very nice job. I watched it a few times.
I thank you very much for taking the time out of your day to visit my channel. I hope you got something out of the content.
Beautiful SoilBrother🥰😌🙏🙏🙏
Taking my flaws and turning them into favor 🙏🏽. I really appreciate your comments.
Such a simple idea that you made look spectacular in the end. Beautiful garden.
Thank you so much. I appreciate all your support.
The edge protector is a great idea
Thanks. The name of the game is using what you have to the best of your ability. That’s, “Growing Out The Box” 😄
Keep doing what you are doing Brotha! Watching you actually build your garden out over the past year is really enjoyable to watch. After watching this I feel like I was there supporting you along the way.Lovin it!
Truth be told, you have been here. I went back and looked and you have been commenting on almost all my videos since I started the channel only a few months ago. I am glad you enjoy and you have lifted my spirits even higher this morning. I was inspired to do this DIY after watching a youtuber @The Everyday Life of an OCDish Chick you should check her out some times and again, Thank you so very much.
Very well done 👍🏽
Thank you very kindly
You did and awesone job, love the demonstration with the panels
I'm here watching
True story…. I saw the corrugated metal sheets listed on fb marketplace. When I went to purchase them I told the guy I was going to build a garden for my wife. He told me that he had recently lost his wife and she loved to be in the garden. “He gave all the panels to me”….. 🙏🏽
Now you showing out!!! I love it!!!🥰🥰🥰
Hey my Sista! I hope all is well with you and the family. Blessings to aunt Freda 🙏🏽 A lot more has been added since. Trying to come up with some flowers ideas.
WoW - You are very detailed 👀👏🏼
I like pretty! lol…. Not that it always comes out that way but It’s how I see. I need flowers 💐.
From the looks of this video you did all of this in 1 day. Much respect!💪
I try not to start projects I can’t finish in a day so yeah, all in a days work.💪🏼
Now that's what I call growing out of the box! The most innovative way of growing blueberries that I have seen. Kudos!
I'm still searching for the direction of the channel so your comments really help. Looks like a lot of people like my DIY projects so I will start posting more content like this all centered around the garden. I'm always building something. Thanks for all your support.
I love watching you work. Very creative.
Thank you very much. Gonna try a get my daughter to show some of her petty in my cabbage harvest. What do you think 🤔?
Good work. It looks good. I like that you added the protection on the edges.
Thanks for watching Princess Cole. Yeah, the edge protector works great. This grow season I’m going to be doing more diy projects in the garden. I need some ideas for flowering plants around the garden. I would love to hear your thoughts. Only perennials…. 😄
@@growingoutthebox lol I feel you on that. I have lots of day lilies, but I'm really starting to like ranunculus and begonias. Crocuses are really nice looking if you want something that flowers in the fall.
@@gardeningwithprincess ok, teacher gave the student lots of homework. She gets a 🍎 because I came here to learn 🥦🍇🥗🥑💪🏼🤩

Thank you very kindly. Please subscribe if you have not. I’m doing my summer tour of the garden June 22nd. A lot has been added since this video. Have a great day.
That looks nice. I like the way you planted your blueberries
Yes, thank you. I have more blueberry videos
Loved watching you work! Nothing like a man who ain't afraid of some hard work ...
Thank you 😊 That’s the mental and physical therapy of self worth at play. No work At all. I can’t think of any other place I would rather be these days.💗
Very nice build well done 👍🏾
Thank you very kindly Ma’am. I built all but 2 of my raised garden beds all with recycled material. Doing a bit more diy I’m my 2nd growing season so please click that notification bell 🛎😄
I'm here watching and taking notes
Yes Ma'am. Blueberries do very well in large containers because they love acidic soil.
@@growingoutthebox thank you, I have three blueberry bushes one is doing well
I love it! Nice touch using the car door edge protector. 👏
Awesome DIY project!
Thanks for sharing!
I gotta give you credit for mixing different music throughout the video. I really like your spring cleanup and how you used different songs throughout. “Trying to be better than the me before today”…. Thanks 🙏🏽
@@growingoutthebox
I like that…trying to be better than the me before today. That part! Yes!
I’m just happy my lil spring cleaning video inspired you in some way. Thank you for sharing!
Just getting to finish watching this video. Amazing working bro! ♥️ Your ass work so hard too. 👨🏽🌾 Love this! 💥💥💥
Thank you. Truth is, it’s not work when you love what you are doing. When I’m in the garden I’m always thinking about what’s next. Something Granddad use to say that I believe I understand now. “To plant a seed is to believe in tomorrow”.
Love you guys 💜💜💜💜

A two-for-one video soil medium for berries and and a great idea for building a raised bed; thank you for sharing. Be well and be safe. Peace and blessings
Testing out content delivery and duration. Sharing a bit of myself as well. I designed and built all but 2 of my beds. I don’t use a tiller. Everything is turned with pic and shovel. Thanks for your input. Seems people don’t mind watching me working. 💪🏼

Great space for your blueberries! they will do well in what you have chosen. Love the idea of using the tin/steel with the rivets. so much simpler then our wood beds. Excellent video
Thanks. The exchange of ideas is what I appreciate most about this UA-cam stuff. Love the navy bean experiment. Good to compare notes. I’m going to try picking them earlier when they are white with hopes of increasing yield.

Thanks for recommending this video. I gonna try to make a raised bed this spring.
You can do it. I’m going to post a video of making a 7x3 raised bed for under $30

Totally amazing work you done.
Thank you. Just trying to find my space in the world of youtube. I appreciate you.
Thats awesome. I need to get my raspberries cultivated better
The raspberries don’t require as much attention as the blueberries. Hit them with a lil bit of that cotton seed meal and watch how they perk up.✅
Great video!!
Glad you enjoyed it
I enjoyed your raised bed build 🤩 I found you from Lashus Journey, Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Gmama Growz.... I connected with you months ago. Thanks for watching. Hit that notification bell. My summer garden tour is coming June 21st.
Enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing
Thank you very much. One thing I didn't mention in this video is that blueberries love rain water. They don't care for city water very much. Thanks for stopping by.
Damn good job on the blueberries and the build!!
Thank you very much. I’m doing an update/1st pruning as soon as the weather warms up. Also adding a brightwell rabbit-eye, bless your heart southern high bush, another hello darlin and 1 more I can’t remember the name. They are responding well to the cottonseed meal and it helps keep the pH down.

Awesome! I think I'm going to try this.
I don't know how I misses your message. The blueberries are doing even better since putting them in this growing medium. They will love you even more for it. 😁
Amazing, thank you for sharing! Much respect! 😊
Thank you 😊
Thanks for sharing brother very informative
Thanks for watching and I hope you found it useful.
You recommend this one as an example of building raised beds, and
you did a great job. The bed fits the plant, and the plant fits the bed.
A couple of those would be great for sweet potatoes, and their foliage
enhance the overall look of the space all summer long as they're vining.
I'd really like to see the wood framed, corrugated steel, 4x8 bed builds.
We put a new roof on the house this year and I now have an abundance of
4 rib panels, 3' wide, 400+ linear feet, that came off the house. We're working
on a couple ideas.
Again, nice job on the Blueberry beds.
TYFS, Mark n Rosa
Glad you liked the blueberry build. I try to keep things simple yet efficient and not use the same shapes everywhere. I just did a 10x3 bed for sweet potatoes and have added several other beds since but if you haven’t watch the Summer Garden Planting. You’ll see a lot of changes and I just put a short video up of what I’m working on now.
With the roofing sheets you have, all you need is 2 - 2x4s for a 4x8 bed. The steel roofing is where your support will be. I do miter the tops just for aesthetics. I decided not to put the miter top on my squash bed and I really like the contrast that it adds. Now that the squash and cucumbers are filling up the pallet trellis I’m loving it even more. Take a look at the summer garden planting and the Buddha waterfall short. I’d like to know your thoughts.

Nice video, I'm new and catching up on your video's. I thought the planters were purchased. It was great watching the process. I'm inspired.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much. I built all my beds except the 2 water troughs purchased from tractor supply for $100 each. I can build them for about $60 and much larger. My plan was to do a video of the build and give it away for my 1,000 subscribers celebration. My channel is only 8 months old and I didn’t anticipate 1,000 subscribers so soon. I’m 6 away at the moment.
AMAZING👏👏👏👏 Awesome video sir ☮️❤️💡
Thanks for always stopping by. I’m trying to reach 500 within 5 months so hopefully when I do my summer garden update on the 22nd I’ll also be celebrating my 6 month goal one month early.
Amazing video Growing Out the Box
Thanks Ricketta. I’m going to try and have my 2023 blueberry update posted next week since it’s time to prune and feed. I’ve added 4 more blueberry bushes so I now have 8 bushes and 6 varieties.

Cool concept on the metal. We made rectangular beds with metal as well. It’s super useful and really affordable.
How’d your mixture percentages work out? We’re adding a row of blueberries this year and I have only done them as singles in the past.
Hey and thanks for watching. The mix works better than I could have ever imagined. Adding 4 more blueberry plants this year for a total of 8 and just took cutting from my Hello Darlin and Bless Your Heart. All of the plants have tripled in size since last year. Tell me how you make your compost? I like to save my kitchen scraps, but end up with these ants and different types of bugs and nats. Are they ok for my garden plants 😮😢? Please do a video on this.
What about if I did an 18 day compost challenge? This way we could all do it together.
@@growingouttheboxDid u ever do this? I’m just now discovering you and question my composting process. Thanks again for the awesome content.
@@joverstreet24 No I haven’t done the challenge. It’s best done in warmer temperatures because the microbes are more active. I think I’m going to do a 18 day composting video and make it into a playlist. I save leaves from fall and start composting as soon as grass starts growing good. Grass clippings and leaves is my bulk. I also add alfalfa, yarrow, dandelion, stinging nettle and urine.
