The Rose Anvil guy just trashed these sneakers -- very politely. Says they are very overpriced; he called them $75 Walmart or Costco shoes. He says they are "summer office sneakers," not 4-seasons sneakers. Says they are not durable at all, that the soles will wear out fast. He did say that it's Atoms' fault, that they should know better.
And he's right
I think they should have collaborated with people like Rose Anvil. His expertise in shoes would have helped this cheaply all through made sneaker with a crazy price tag.
I would mind to pay 200 if the sneaker worth every penny.

I am not a sneaker head or anything but I am really amazed to see a UA-camr, who I look upto actually creating a product and selling it to the masses. The the most amazing thing I find about you creating a shoe is that some day people might know you not as mkbhd(UA-camr) but as a product designer and entrepreneur.
They are pretty expensive tho. They do not cater to mass market.

@@cacogenicist quite possibly. Maybe the price of the actual materials are less expensive so they should have marketed them to be more affordable but believe me when I tell you this, it doesn’t feel like a cheaply made shoe. They’re pretty great. 🙂
i loved the fit on the atoms i got 3 years ago, and the fact that they made them in large sizes. but the foam sole was super light and therefore basically disintegrated within 6 months. would be great to hear whether and how that’s changed since then.
I got the 001 and wore them for two weeks in Europe. They are still my daily shoe.
Probably the best advert I've ever seen and actually enjoyed. Congratulations, hard work always pays off in the end.
