Even though California has deep, social, political, and economic problems, the state's country terrain is some of the worlds best. Miss it so much. I need to make time and take several trips back down there soon.

Campers face was priceless seeing three gals in his home.....I grew up where the man across the street had a wife and five daughters. I was ten at the time and now much older I can see why he would spend so much time cutting the lawn away from his family. I feel like a princess was hilarious. Fun episode! Beautiful lakes. I live in the PNW and hike in tevas too! I used to try and find the best boots or shoes to hike in then I found the freedom of hiking in tevas and not worrying about wet socks, or hot cramped feet.
Campdog is just a photogenic dog i swear, he’s also the chillest. He loves an active and he always has this calm/ curious demeanor to him. Loves people and the people loves him back. I love camper!

Snow melt is nature's air conditioning. True story! Man, it's so good to see all the water there because it has been dry for so long. That salad looked delicious, and Rubicon Peak looked strenuous. Definitely nice to hit the water after a nice hike.
Such a beautiful area. I don’t recall temperatures in the nineties, however. That seems a bit weird. Keep an eye on the weather. There is a tropical storm off the west coast of Baja California. It’s headed your way.
