My Windows 10 laptop stopped connecting to my Samsung Smart TV and I've been scratching my head about it for a few days. Following your tips fixed it (after updating drivers then disconnecting TV from Internet, then reconnecting). Thanks ever so much - you're a lifesaver!
This is honestly very useful! Just go my Smart TV yesterday so had it all setup after the unboxing. Haven't been able to connect my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop all morning. After watching this video, what worked for me was simply disconnecting my TV from the internet, turning off the TV, and reconnecting the TV back to my wifi. And just like that, my TV showed up in the list of devices after clicking "connect". Thank you!
Hi, I have been spending days doing all sorts of different methods to overcome this problem, but thank you for covering so many different issues that may prevent mirroring the laptop to my smart TV, your method worked. Many sincere thanks, I have been on Microsoft site, Samsung site & none of them worked but you cracked it for which I am sincerely gratefully. Kind regards. Danny
Thank you so much for the appreciation. You made my day, I am glad that it worked. Please stay home, stay safe and keep washing your hand. Let's fight this corona virus together.
Thank you so much for this video! I spent hours today trying to get this to work on my new laptop. Had no issue on my old one so I was perplexed. Appreciate the help!
Hello bro, wonderful video..I was struggling to connect window 10 to tv using mi box 4k, I googled entire world.. correct answer is with you.. very informative video..good job..
WOW! I’ve literally been trying to figure this out for days. This video was the last one I was gonna try before I gave up but it worked when I disconnected from the wifi and clocked the tv on and off, tyvm!
It was working and it stopped. Now I get sound on the tv but no image on either screen. If I hit win+p I can eventually go back to the laptop, any ideas please?
Thanks for the video, only one of the few I found helpful in this subject, bus as you stated in your note, I have 2 identical Samsung smart tv showing on devices pages, one under audio and the other under wireless display, they keep that way every time I try to connect and I end up with Couldnt connect error, how can I solve that?
The third option worked for like a few minutes, then it stopped and disconnected. I am not sure what is what with whatever it is that is interfering. It didn't do it before. Odd..
I keep getting an error message "The connection request from *computer name* was not successful. You can try reconnecting using your mobile device." I can screen cast from UA-cam on my desktop to my TV, and after some back and forth for an hour I was able to get my laptop to work, but not my desktop.
I tried everything, everything you did but i still have the same issue. I only got to see my laptop screen doing some kind of animation that seemed like it was going to connect to the new Samsung tv i just bought, but nothing... Thank you though for the video
I'm so confused. I tried all of these steps and I still can't connect. Dxdiag shows I have miracast with the HD thing. I did the intel software updates and downloaded 3 softwares, and restarted my computer, and updated to the latest windows version. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the TV to wifi and turning it on and off, and double-checked that the TV and laptop were on the same network (they are). I restarted the TV and computer multiple times. What the heck could be the issue at this point?
Thank you sir. I dunno which step worked, I'm guessing its resetting the TV's network connection. Prior to that it was just constant "could not connect".
Hi, all Here …exactly the same problem…. windows 10, 4 laptops… “Miracast: Available, with HDCP”… and when i try to project it.. from Google…: TV samsung Series 7 (43) Origin not supported In fact, when I try do add it, it´s detected by windows 10…but fails to connect….. When hardware is not supported you cannot connect wirelessly, but you can use HDMI cable to connect your PC.
