Those Texas Eye Jigheads have become some of my favorite to use since I discovered them..They work fantastic in weedy areas where I fish..Amazing invention that’s helped me catch a ton of fish....
Dang man that’s awesome!!! Those suckers were big! I’ve never caught a snook but I will eventually. Lol those artificials are serious business, eh? Very cool dude. Congrats and God bless!!! Kevin
Hey bro, awsome fishing love your vids, you always come up with something. The Dolphin was beautiful. I remember a video where steve, was watching a pod gang fight. And they all swam under his kayak, lol.. But I always believe there harmless, as long as there not threatened. Keep up the great fishing, and content. We love it. Be safe bro, god bless. 🎣🙏
Lol, yes he was freaked out, lol. But they knew not to hit his 16ft hobie. It's amazing and beautiful all fish are. I never consider fishing a bad day. As long as me and my kayak return safe, the beautiful water, is worth it alone, even if there not biting. Stay safe bro..👍👍
@@anthonyvespia6662 Totally agree! Not sure if you've seen this one - ua-cam.com/video/yMC6mdv6qUM/v-deo.html - I didn't catch much, but seeing the Osprey and the Dolphin fishing that I caught on drone were a great payoff!

@@KayakFishingAddict I have a new outback so it comes ready for sidescan but thanks for the response. I ended up just doing the Stryker 4 seems like everyone loves it for the price.
I'm going to have to try the Z-Man Diezel MinnowZ, and the Eye Strike Texas Jigheads. What size do you prefer as your goto rig? I've have had the same paddle yak for 10 years now. It is an old Jackson 14' Cuda which I love and have rigged out really well, but I'm getting a little older now. Those pedal yaks look really nice! Windy days like this one I would probably just stay home, plus you can cover so much more area. I've been looking at the Old Town Predator 120.
Start with the color of the bait you see in the water you fish. Then think about water color….generally select lighter color baits in clear water and darker color baits in dark water.

I'll be telling my friends about your channel. By the way, I live down the road, south of the marshes you fish at, and if I see you I'll make it a point to say Hi.
I haven’t had an issue yet. It’s tough when it’s windy that’s for sure! This setup is a Lew’s Custom Inshore series reel. The rod and reel are listed on my gear page - gear.kayakfishingaddict.com
Thanks Richard for your kind words and question. I like my PFD for what I feel is my risk. Please, let me explain. I wear the Onyx belt PFD that you can find on my gear page ( gear.KayakFIshingAddict.com ). It's a PFD that is (1) manually inflated, and (2) requires the user to slip a loop over their head after it's inflated. Obviously, if you're in a situation where you're struggling this may not be the PFD for you. So, for my personal risk assessment for the waters where I normally fish (2' to 3' deep) I feel it's adequate.
