thank you for this upload… even as a villa fan it’s just brilliant viewing - in all seriousness was suarez & sturridge the greatest pairing in premier league history?
Suarez and Sturridge were so good that we almost won the league with a back 5 of Jose Enrique/Joe Flanagan, Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel, Kolo Toure and Glen Johnson with Simon Mignolet in goal. That’s how good our attack was.
A season that took us to heaven but ultimately ended in hell ... I'd argue with anyone that we had the greatest attack in Prem history this season .... Suarez, Sturridge, Sterling, Coutinho, Gerrard ... all in their prime and scoring for FUN at times ... but it was all FAR from perfect. The summer had seen another batch of awful signings arrive, meaning we still didn't have any squad depth. The defence desperately needed a lot of work, and that showed in multiple games when average teams would score 2-3 goals past us without much effort. Luckily we were always scoring more at the other end. Rodgers also lacked match intelligence ... by the end he was just sending us out to score as much as possible, without thinking about each match and what the opposition could do. We just needed a draw Vs Chelsea, and to calmly beat Palace with no fuss .... be we were headless chickens by this point, and fluffed our lines ....
Gerrard, sterling and coutinho weren't in his primes (Suarez's prime was probably 15/16 as well) but yeah you're generally right it was an immense attack
Mixed feelings watching this. Beautiful, glorious goals but the comedic, shambolic defence reminds me of the horror that season. Im super happy Klopp came in to get rid of ALL the rubbish defenders and keepers.

Peak Sturridge was a thing of beauty.
3:50 ...this goal totally caught me off guard back then. what a lob.
still catches me off guard even today lool the fcking audacity love it
This season is what got me obsessed with football as a kid. Some of the most exciting football I’ve ever watched, I’m sure will stick with many reds forever. I’ll never forget this crazy team and the SAS❤🐐 YNWA
3:45 One of my absolute favourite goals from Studge. Pure magic.

I've never seen a finisher quite like Suarez playing for Liverpool this season, unless we count every season Messi and Ronaldo have had over the years. He was different level. I can only imagine what it would be like to see this man playing alongside Salah, Firmino and Mané in his prime.
What Norwich did to make Suarez trashing them lol 😂 😂 😂
Unfortunately he ran away😂

one on one, goals from distance, goals from set pieces ,luis suarez the most lethal striker to play from liverpool in 21st century
Suarez was unstoppable
The best performance I have ever witnessed from any footballer at any club. Luis Suarez V Norwich (H) in 2013/14. 4 goals and an assist didn't do it justice.
Imagine Van Dijk and Allison in this team 🔥
Imagine this Suarez and Gerrard in our current team
@@razer0072073 that would be too OP lol..
Van dijk was average back then
Luis Suarez was the best player in the world this season.
thank you for this upload… even as a villa fan it’s just brilliant viewing - in all seriousness was suarez & sturridge the greatest pairing in premier league history?
One of the most entertaining duo i have ever seen.. Too bad they didnt get along that well off the pitch
I always wondered why they didn’t get on that well
"the almost" season 😔
Suarez and studge unbelievable, pity we couldn't defend, I think we conceded 52 goals that season but brilliant to watch.
ridiculous that suarez missed like 8 games at the start of this season and still won the golden boot easily
No pens, and if I remember correctly he was top assister along with Gerrard.

Bottlers
If Sturridge wasn't injured and Suarez wasn't banned they coukd of got over 80 goals combined that season
If Suarez have taken penalties he would had 40+ goals
from SAS to MFM , this trio never let us down
5:37 best goal
I find the commentary on LFC TV is far superior to what we get on sky sports
Why did Martin škrtel score so many goals😭
20:25 - I will always remember this coutinho goal. Its over 10 years now but the memory is still afresh.
Mixed feelings watching this. Beautiful, glorious goals but the comedic, shambolic defence reminds me of the horror that season. Im super happy Klopp came in to get rid of ALL the rubbish defenders and keepers.
Great attackng team the fact that Liverpool current front 3 can be talked in the same breath as Suarez show what a golden period it is for Liverpool right now...world class
