In 2013/14 Ronaldo and Suarez both had 31 league goals so both won golden boot. Suarez played in EPL so it’s better.
Ronaldo scored 17 goals in UCL and Suarez didn’t play in European competition. So Ronaldo was a better goal scorer because of UCL.
2015/16 Suarez scored 40 in La Liga, Ronaldo scored 35.
UCL Ronaldo scored 16 goals, Suarez scored 8 goals.
So still, Ronaldo was a better goal scorer.
DEFINITELY my favourite modern day striker. He NEVER panicked around the box. Was never afraid to take the extra touch. Never was shy to win a 50/50 ball. TOTALLY trusted his shot. Had great situational awareness. Was deceptively quick. These are only a few of my observations of his career so far. On to Athletico to conquer. #9.
And would guess defenders moves. Raw talent and instinct. But his greatest virtue is his competitive spirit. He hates to lose and will not quit until it is over. Never.

The pace, the skills and the finishing: He had it all. He may have lost some of that recently but I will always remember him for being an extremely talented footballer. It was a joy to watch him and his connection with Messi was out of this world. Definitely one of the greatest strikers ever.

Suarez has never got the credit, respect and limelight that he has always richly deserved. When you think of out and out pure centre forwards, he is the absolute best of his generation. I get the feeling that he is the type of footballing legend who will be remembered and adored more once he has retired. Some artists are more revered and adored once they're gone than when they're active.
He has been going downhill for the last 2 years, but his numbers have still been world class. He is one of the greatest strikers ever, his numbers and trophy collection speak for themselves. The finishing, assists, work rate, skill and will to win are legendary. Much love to Suarez. YNWA

Suarez, 200 goals in 5 years and 10 month (43 effective months). Messi, 630 in 16 years (130 effective months). It means that Messi played triple more years than Suarez played. Then 200 x 3 = 600 goals would have got Suarez.

And then Benzema is also in his thirties, yet he is in the shape of his life. Limit Koeman should have asked him to rebuild an athletic physique and to work a lot while keeping him on the bench.

He was really at his best from 2014 to 2017 after which injuries and age together caused a bit of a decline in him. It was sad to see the beast lose a yard or 10 and not be spreading the same terror in the hearts of opposition defenders, but his ability to read the game and finish still means he is one of the very good strikers in the world. Top 15 or 10 for sure. Not really suitable for Barca anymore but most of the idiots criticizing him don't know anything about football or respect.
