Just picked up worms Armageddon on steam again. Not only did I get to relive my childhood, I also spent like an hour creating a voice pack of my own voice
I played all 3 of the 3d games and I really miss them... We had enough 2D Worms games, bring back 3d worms :D EDIT: Technically they are 4, but Ultimate Mayhem just feels like a remaster tbh
That's not a worms game, that's a branded side project. Part of the charm is you could go get snacks while your cousin was doing their move and they could pause when done so you could be back with the chips (crisps for those savage UK people).
I still love the original most. You could really build a fortress with those pixel beams, since Worms 2 it's way more easily destroyed. This makes the maps feel smaller.
Worms Reloaded is actually a very underrated game. Relaxing music, strategic thinking is required, the story is not so easy to finish, beautiful animations, I think this game had the best interface among worms games. Personally, it's a special game in my eyes, I used to play it on my uncle's old Windows 7 laptop. Now I saw this video and I'm going to download the game. Thanks for reminding me of this game again :D

Out of the Worms games I've played, I think it's my second favourite, though I'd say the main reason it edges out 3rd place (WMD) in my eyes is probably nostalgia. First time I played worms was on the Sega channel. Most of the time it was in my room on a black and white tv. What a great childhood. Glad the games are still going strong.

Worms Reloaded was released in the golden age of online PC gaming. Built-in voice chat, Steam invites, customizable voice banks and landscapes, even a special set of TF2-themed cosmetics! I highly recommend this and Armageddon for anyone interested in the series.
Its crazy to see how underrated worms forts under siege really is, as it is not hard to understand this by judging from how I could find only 2-3 comments that mentions this game throughout lots of scrolling... that game was one of the biggest parts of my childhood in pc gaming. I still enjoy it when I launch and play this game.
I've been around for them all but I loved the special addition worms the directors cut for the amiga. It was a step up from the original and way better graphics. You could make your own maps in a paint program and import to the game.
Forgets Worms United/Reinforcements and The Director's Cut but counts Battlegrounds as a separate game from Clan Wars :/ Not mentioning the mobile games is also a little disappointing. The footage from Worms 4 Mayhem is also actually Worms Ultimate Mayhem.

I remember a cousin playing worms 2, and it had this editor when you can change every aspect of every weapon, like, make the magnum shoot instead of 6 bullets, shoot 50 as if it was a minigun, make the ratio of the impact as big as a banana bomb blast or higher, make each bullet deal damage to 1 up to 99, make a banana bomb drop 20 bananas, let health pack heal up to 200 and many many more, sadly I can't find a copy of the game, even pirated ones :(
Worms 3D was incredible. I personally like Revolution and Clan Wars way more than WMD, the artstyle, the water mechanics etc. Kind of sad to think they might continue in that direction. Would love another 3D Worms or one with water physics.
I forget that one particular Worm game where the map is just not in cartoon style, but like real map but pixel. Anyone remember? Where you can use so many weapons (including Light Saber).

Worms Open Warfare 2 was my fav (and still is) when I was a young lad that I would play on my friend's psp. Those were the days of happiness.
