interesting approach, never thought about coloring the mix afterwards! I like the idea of customizing the mix to your taste. Have you thought about using the internal DJM limiter? I always boost the tracks up to +9 (the meter display on the respective tracks) so that every track ends up nicely in the limiter haha great vid
Yes, I sometimes do this with colouring :) If i had the chance to record the ambience in the club / room to hear the crowd reactions thats another way to do this, and mix it in afterwards and also just makes it more unique to the place and time of recording it. I actually never thought about using the internal limiter for recording purposes but thats a good idea. I used this function on the Traktor Software by Native Instruments. Definitely have to try this out on the DJM for my next mix. Thanks for the input! Do you think the quality is better than using the Pro L 2 or do you use it in a combination?

@@JonasFasching yeah, i mean, the peak limiter is set on by default :) don't know if it sounds better but its one thing less to worry about 🤷
