Zebra finches are delightful birds and are fairly easy to breed. They make good parents, and they can breed year-round. Plus, the birds are easy to look after. Start by setting up the cage for your birds, then encourage them to start breeding by creating the right conditions. Once the eggs are laid, the parents will incubate, hatch, and feed their young until the babies are ready to leave the nest.

This is a good info. And I do like you showing the different kinds. I have finches for over 40 years. One thing that is miss leading. They should get sprouts and greens all the time as part of their healthy diet. It's the amount of light you give them that stops or starts them laying eggs. Less light they go into winter mode and stop. More light they think summer and breed like crazy. but a very good video.
Had my zebra fiches for 3 days not, and they still havent breeded you think i need to put a lamp next to there cage ??

Great info, the voice is a little too slow for my taste, and a layered nest is implied as a problem with further explanation as to why, but the information is well presented otherwise.
22/5 I bought a couple of finches
25/5 They mated
26/5 They started building nest

Hi
I have a question. My zebra finches pairs lay eggs then sits on them but after couple of days the males start chasing females and don’t let them sit on the eggs and also if babies hatch they do same they chase females and don’t let them feed and that happens to all pairs I tried switching pairs too but same thing. Can you please help me with a suggestion for this problem. Thanks

Are pure white finches rare????
Please reply????
No..
It's not a rare mutation.
Yes all white Zebra Finch has gotten to be quite rare. I have been searching for one here in Michigan and not one pet store has any & no bird breeders no pet ads. I'm still trying to find another since mine passed away 2 years ago
When my female finch lay eggs another female come and crack the eggs
Is it just me but that is a dog cage at the beginning
Can a female lay eggs without a male
Yes.
Female finches will lay eggs even in the absence of a male finch. Although these unfertile eggs will not hatch, female finches will sit on these eggs to warm and prepare them to hatch. As a pet breeder, if you are sure that the eggs are infertile, you may remove them immediately.
2 male, 1 female ok for one cage😅
