Surprisingly, this BL won my heart! I really love the chemistry between these guys. Not cringy, not too much sugar-coated. Such a perfect balance of everything needed to be likable. 😂❤️ This is definitely in my top 10 Korean BLs list for now.
For real, I just find Thai BLs a little bit cringe-not the whole drama, but some scenes make me feel embarrassed. 🤣 However, Korean BLs are way better at actually showing how a gay relationship should be. It's not portrayed as taboo, and despite being in a country where LGBTQ+ acceptance may be challenging, they normalize the relationship impressively. Even though I know that they also have many BLs which actually shows the dark side of the reality. Anyway I don't want to compare BL dramas, but I do prefer KBL more.
Although Woonggi isn't the main character, but a supporting role. I still feel so proud of how far he's come from his first survival show 'To Be Worldklass', to debuting into 'TOO', to rebranding to 'TO1' and last/second survival show 'Boys Planet', then suddenly leaving the group and now making his official acting debut as actor Cha Woonggi. YES, he's come a long way indeed. I wish him all the best on his career going forward in the entertainment industry, whether it's through debuting as an idol in a group, in a duo, or as an soloist, as an actor or living his life away from the entertainment industry. I love the fact that though most of Korean BLs have a school or university setting, they do bring unique story, and the production is always amazing. And my baby Woong Ki is a main role....he deserves it...I hope this drama becomes a success and the cast get more projects.
Btw guys, kissing is not always necessary in a BL although I won't judge whether this is one or not. An example for this is that BL drama with 2 omegax members. They didn't have kiss scenes but still ended up as lovers
There rare examples of this and i think that the first of this kind is cherry magic. I maybe wrong but that is the first drama with love between boys that no real had happened but it still got a good story to learn watch and enjoy from. If this drama holds true it marks at least a 3rd time that a bl drama without a real kiss. Maybe we have been numbed by the many kissing scenes that almost all the bl drama has over the years.
And i agree and honestly i most like those dramas that has less to no kissing or love scenes but the story still tells us that theyre still in love. In when your eyes linger in the last scene it has a kissing scene although its questionable if real but it still has that scene so it doesnt count like a shoulder to cry on.
So many are puzzling and wondering, BL or bromance… Well, this looks very much like BL to me. BL isn’t exclusively characterized by kissing or making love… Love itself is so much more than that. It also includes a clear perceptible and visible mutual attraction and affection, as well as very expressive and explicit gestures and gazes, confirming us the intimate relationship between them. And all of their associated mutual expressions of love tell us once again that they are truly in love with each other. ❤️

I really don't like that unfairness. It's just give me a vibe of homophobic. If idol are unable to do same sex skinship, just don't cast them. So, yes, I prefer pure actor to do BL. I couldn’t agree more one of my favourite BL’s the original Cherry Magic you never see the characters actually kiss but the chemistry, acting and plot is just so perfect that I love it so much. If the chemistry is there then I’ll watch a series till the end.

This drama was unpredictable with outsganding casts. they played well however the start was mindblowing they gave justice until the end thank you for ghe writer and director they put the good casting on this series.
I literally just started reading this webtoon!! Really liking it so far. The main actors here should've switched roles though cause that way they'd look more like the webtoon characters. It's throwing me off that their looks don't match the character but each others' characters instead LOL.
I will add to pointless comments about kisses in BL: I would prefer there wont be a kiss rather than the kiss looking forced and awkward. Either commit or dont do it all. Cherry magic JP didnt have a kissing scene and I think it still was amazing and they did the story justice, no kissing kinda suited the vibe the show had. ON the other hand, Semantic error had so mcuh sexual tension between the characters I would have been dissapointed if the kiss didnt happen, althought I remember being scared the kiss would be awkward just because they were both idols. SO even back then I kinda wished there would be no kiss at all because I thought dead fish kiss was a high possibility and I would hate that waay more than no kissing. anyone can relate?

I watched this in one day, it was amazing. The acting, storyline, characters everything was perfect ❤just wish it was longer but I’m proud bl is getting longer episodes. Hopefully one day it will even longer with more episodes 😊

This drama is like air already among Thai bl 🤭 Everything is so easy here and the actors play well. I liked it very much, I’m looking forward to January 31st. For me, even a kiss is not needed and the chemistry is so visible. There doesn't have to be sex scenes and hot kisses.... Here the acting is very interesting, this can compensate for everything.
Well, after reading the comments i think both GOOD storyline and KISSES can coexist in a drama and still make it amazing, so why choose only to not kiss and good storyline when you can prefer both ways? I havent seen a top-tier drama without kisses tbh.
