Blue is so gorgeous! I always love seeing his enclosure and I'm glad you kept the ceramic mushrooms and cactus in. They make it look cute and add a nice splash of color! 🍄 🌵 I can't believe he stomps on the cactus though. 😂 Such a personality!
You should do a video of everything u will need to get a tortoise...such as lighting enclosure and hides and substrates types of food and best food and water dishes...that will be awesome❤️

I absolutely love blue! He reminds me of my 1 year old tortoise Rambo. I love his personality, he is soo cute😊😊
My little sister got a Russian tortoise for her birthday about 3 years ago and about 2 months ago I switched him to bioactive and he loves it as soon as I put him in his enclosure he expires then went and made a hole and went to sleep as he is nocturnal and every day since he has slept in the same spot and it is not in a hide so I think he feels pretty comfortable

Great video blue looks so happy! for holding up me lid for my tortoises enclosure i use Gas struts and it lifts the lid up and holds it very good so i don't have to do basically any work and my lid is bigger than your so i think it would work great for your enclosure! it is also easy to set up i put one on each side.

Awesome video! I was wondering if you have ever considered doing cypress mulch for blue.. I was reading the care sheet for garden state tortoise and they state it very good at helping with humidity. Anyway thanks for sharing :)

Hello! So I have a Sulcata Tortoise and I am not sure if I can soak him and get his shell all wet like you did with blue. Do you know if I can give him a whole soak like that?
You should be doing it regularly and have a water dish. Babies need soaks every day or so bc they dehydrate very quickly & adults 2-3x a week is fine.

Here in Washington we dont get anything but blizzards lori i think we are going to have a major floud when it melts or atleast extra snow i hate winter in december we had zero snow bot in febuary and march it snows crazy

Hi Lori! I was about to get my first tortoise, but then I read up that the substrates you use for them can have mites! Do you feel this is a big issue for you? I really want the tortoise I saw but I don't want to introduce bugs into my home as well. Regards!
I’ve never had mites! Woah, but you can freeze and bake some substrates to be safe!

I love tortoises and I remember when we were looking a possible tortoises around reptile places we went to a reptile place where I went on a field trip in pre-school about 10-11 years ago and I saw the Sulcata I fell in love with back at the field trip I asked my parents if I can get that tortoise...but apparently that having a tortoise bigger than our dog and cat isn’t a good idea tho they did like the fact we were about the same age :(
