that triple engine is easily one of the best engine you can have, worht it just for that

HI Zoe I hope you are feeling better after surgery. A great review. My legs are the same as your so i dont really ride this type of bike. As you say a lot of tech but its not the main reason i would buy a bike. It looks a decent bike though. Glad you both found a warm day to ride :)
Hay David, I am thank you. Even ran my first 10k race this weekend just gone. Those warm days are far and few apart now aren't they. Roll on next summer :). It really is a good bike.

Great road test, Zoe. Shame it misses out on cruise control -- that is a deal breaker for some. The large number of modes probably aren't something that you would use regularly -- they allow the bike to be fine tuned (the more options, the better the fine tuning) then left alone. Hearing your complaints about "being a shorty" is somenting I hear from my wife all the time! The gravel, the slopes, the side stand etc etc.

Short life problems aye :P. Someone has mentioned that the '24 MT09 is coming with CC as standard so that will be good to see. Personally I usually have two modes ill use, the wet mode with all the rider aids activated, then 'sport' mode which I will make it to be my usual riding fun mode. If you aren't having fun you might as well get in a car right :)
Agree on the exhaust, quite like the way it has two exits though.
Until you upgrade and get the nice looking Akra can. Then it really looks the part.
I got the Mc license last year and bought the new Honda Hornet. I really like the Hornet, but in the end of last season I was already used to the power and it felt meh to me. So I’m now looking at the mt 09 sp I get the extra power plus the suspension. I have had back surgery and I hope the suspension on the SP can be setup for a more comfy ride. And like you mentioned cruise control, that’s nice 🙂
That's the problem when you start off, you think it will take a while to get used to the bikes power. Turns out, it really doesn't, and not before long you are ready for more. You won't be disappointed if you do get the 09 / 09SP. Enjoy it mate.

Hi Zoe you will have to do this review again as the new MT09 is just being released and I believe it come with cruise as standard but the price has increased again ,,, but a good Video anyway keep them coming cheers

Hi Zoe, is this the 2024 Mt 09??
i believe zoe said early on that it was a 22 plate.
sadly this was only the '22 model because there was no changes for '23 so the dealer didn't put a new plate MT09 on their demo list. Hopefully they will have the '24 for me to play on as soon as it becomes available.
Clearly if you've seen it, the new MT-09 has a different headlight, tank, seat , & tachometer display (a little bit bigger now) to name a few give or take. This bike is the king (in my opinion) to the middle weight class hypernaked bike. The 2024 model for the price, gives you more than any other bike. This bike is amazing and fun as hell to ride. DSOJ FOR LIFE.

Sadly it's what we have to work with :). I used to change mine and make em smaller, but the cops have nothing better to do these days than pick on easy targets like bikers with small plates. God for bid there's bigger crimes out there they could be committing their time to :)

What an incredibly negative perspective you have! Clearly this is not the bike for you. You did not explore any of the incredible strengths of the bike! It’s clearly not the bike for you…
Luckily there’s plenty of other bikes out there.
