    FISHERRR, GLAD WE GET TO SEE HIM, IT’S BEEN SO LONG ❤
    Also since I had a little time period where I updated people on my lessons, last time I got Angus and he was- so funny.
    When I got on I was like ‘OH GOD, HE’S VERY CHUNKY’, I’ve never ridden a cob before so obviously very strange feelings on my legs, it was pretty nice, but I definitely prefer Scooby over Angus, Angus was a bit of a pushy horse, (not push-button) but he pulls a lot for being such a lazy horse.

    I love how you don't tie him up to groom or put his gear on. I try to do that all the time and everyone thinks I am crazy, yes sometimes they are in a mood and move around, making it harder, but they spend so much time tied up, its feels good that they trust you and stand still for you

    • @RidewithClara
      @RidewithClara  Рік тому

      There are definitely certain horses that I will always tack up in the cross ties but yes I agree! It’s so much nicer to let them eat some hay, do their thing and just have a little freedom while I get them ready ☺️

    The clip of you sitting with no stirrup, great ambition you have and go girl! Many wouldn’t have added that.
    I was actually thinking (before that) I love the go pro but would like to see more of your position.
    Adding more of just video would be awesome! Keep on keeping on, Claira!
    Btw one of my favorite spicy lil cousins is named Claira! (Not sure if I shared with you. I would love her to horseback ride. I think it would be an amazing distraction to a hard life).

    • @whinnie216
      @whinnie216 Рік тому

      Tip that hip girl! String holding up that bellybutton while you tip, tip tip 😉 And lengthen leg (if your instructor allows) but it looks good, I can see you keeping those heels down very well in that clip!

    • @whinnie216
      @whinnie216 Рік тому

      Ok so wrote that 👆 before I saw your other clips! Awesome, great to see!
      And I hope my “swing” the hip comment didn’t transfer to getting this horse more forward! I’m originally jumper but was taught a lot thru having to take dressage also. So obvi listen to your instructor, still swinging hip but more sitting towards pomel and in collection with what type of horse…not sure if I mention that last time. (If that makes sense)
      I’m sure you get overwhelmed with advice but looks like you ride at an amazing facility with awesome instructors so obvi listen to them and take all “our” advice with a grain of horse feed 😂 and discuss with your instructor!!!

I’ll try and get someone to come along with me so I can get more shots! Aha Aw she sounds adorable! I really hope she gets into riding and loves horses as much as you do!
      Thanks so much for all the tips!! I have a lot of things to focus on in my riding, I appreciate all the help!
      It was the nun of a carrot! It does look like a mini pumpkin doesn’t it?? Hahaha
