    Why is the government pushing the legalization of marijuana, they know how dangerous these drugs are.

      Yes, and it can come in gradually. If you haven’t already, here’s the link to our first video/podcast where we share more details if what happened to Bryn after she took the 2 hits from the bong. ua-cam.com/video/1dZJA39i5QM/v-deo.htmlsi=Ei0M7ejD2th-NYm3

      Cannabis user for 10 years. No it does not, it is a light drug (less addictive than alcohol). Go and read some actual literature online instead of listening to strangers. These people already had serious issues prior to smoking cannabis and just happened to get caught while intoxicated. Cannabis has the exact opposite effect, otherwise it wouldn't be legal in half of US.

    Funny thing how they bring up Richard Kirk, when he is sitting in prison for his crime, while Ms. Spejcher is NOT. It makes no sense.

    @VirgilHiltsLT Research the history (ancient to contemporary) of pharma & ya might have a different take on the 'plant' & accepting folks being put in harms way. It's stupefying, isn't it ? Do your math, but good luck if/while you're influenced by the 'plant'.

    They already had mental issues prior to smoking marijuana. Either that, or it was synthetic, with additives, etc. Don't blame the plant.

    • @EveryBrainMatters
      @EveryBrainMatters  9 місяців тому +3

      No, both sides established Bryn had no preexisting mental illness. And this was no synthetic weeds. She only tested positive for THC and so did Chad.

    • @VergilHiltsLT
      @VergilHiltsLT 9 місяців тому

      @@EveryBrainMatters How can you tell they had no preexisting mental illness? I assume this was the first time they were screened, since they hadn't committed any crimes before that? It just so happened that their first diagnosis coincided with marijuana use, but that's pure chance.
      Also, just because they found THC doesn't mean it's not synthetic. The synthetic compounds are not always detectable because they don't stay in the organism as long as THC does.

      @@VergilHiltsLT Hi, we were the only organization that had advocates in the court room to bring you details of the trail. The prosecutor, the defense, and 4 experts all concluded Bryn was experiencing cannabis-induced psychosis. That fact was not debatable with the trail. All parties agreed.

      @@EveryBrainMatters I don't care what they declared nor what the sentences are, this is the law. The government could not care less about the real circumstances or the lives of said people. This was obviously their first charge as they had no criminal history, meaning this was the first time they got screened for mental illnesses, which I'm 100% sure they already had, because cannabis simply does not work that way. Either that or they mixed the cannabis with something else, but blaming cannabis for the whole ordeal is ridiculous. There were other reasons as to why this happened. Cannabis does NOT "possess" you, otherwise it would be illegal across the entire US. The evidence is inconclusive at the very best for reasons I already provided. The sole purpose of these claims is obvious bias against cannabis and shock factor, but gotta make those headlines, right?
      I could kill someone while intoxicated with cannabis or alcohol or whatever, not because I have "psychosis", but simply because of ill will/spite or any other personal reason. Don't blame the plant just because they happened to be intoxicated at the time. You simply don't know what went on in their heads, and the criminals will gladly blame cannabis to ease the charges.

    Aiden Fucci is serving a life sentence for the same crime, and he was a minor. He smoked weed before the murder.

      Did they determine that he was in a cannabis-induced psychosis state? That’s what if different with the Bryn Spejcher trial. The defense , the prosecutors, and all 4 experts agree Bryn was psychotic because of marijuana.

      @@EveryBrainMatters Well he didn't get caught in the act by the police, so he never got the chance to act like a lunatic in front of them while covered in blood. I also don't think people become homicidal from cannabis use. I've seen people freak out on all kinds of drugs but never pot. I also think she should be doing prison time. It's not like Chad put a gun to her head, and she is an adult. If I kill someone while drunk driving, I should be in prison.
