Holy Crap!!! I live in Japan! If you need ideas based on Japan, you should check out their dollar stores or what they call the Daiso (Die-zo), they have much better stuff to buy than our dollar stores. You should also keep in mind the fashion is both formal-like but loose. It is worth enhancing your wardrobe with. You should also know that it is highly populated and dense. You won't believe all the nooks and crannies they use to put stores and restaurants in. They also have some many, MANY, temples of which I still don't know the names of. I also suggest places such as the Ramen museum in Yokohama and a Ferris wheel ride at night because the view is spectacular. They also have great hiking areas that can be easily accessed through public transportation. They also make great Italian food which seems weird, but it is supposed to be good. If you are going to be in Japan for three months, get a Pasmo which is a card used for the bus, train, and even some restaurants. You have to buy it for about five dollars and put money on it. Getting around the highly populated areas by car will be extremely difficult, especially since Japan is a pedestrian based country. Plus, their transportation system is really great and you can even use google maps to plan the best route.
Caroline Bracken i went to japan 4 weeks or so ago and daiso/100 yen stores are really nice! has like everything there. same with all the lawsons haha (have you been to nara deer park? its sweet there haha) but yeah i recommend lavendertowne should try to go one day, its really worth it ^0^ i was there for 2 or so weeks, so we got a suica card haha (We tried italian food too! it was really good.)
I am also taller than the average male height there and look southern European, so I get stared at a lot. So it is not all rainbows and excitement for me. But at least they are all very friendly and understanding.

For the Japan travel/draw videos, you could try drawing different types of street fashions that you see. Or you could go to shops and pick up some items and use it for a character design! Or you could even just take the theme or ambiance of the shop and design a character around it. Just throwing some of my ideas out here!
One place you might consider going to in Japan is a cat cafe. A cat cafe is where you can order food and play with cat and or kittens! I’ve been to one myself and it’s very fun 😄 hope you consider going!

In Japan, you should pick random articles of clothing from shops there (even better if they don’t match) and draw them on your characters!
You can draw sceneries or people you see in Japan. Idk, that is just the easiest way to include both art and traveling
