And yeah, sometimes, having a bigger bore aperture pays dividends in ways that make a system practical for a variety of platforms. It's important to note that not all designs have performance that can scale in a way that is efficient. Some designs may lose a lot of performance with a larger bore; it really does depend. Regardless, we do feel this is a great case study and we are pleased to be able to publish it!

You are most welcome! Unfortunately, I can't give personal preferences for silencers because folks see them as recommendations..... and we really can't recommend specific silencers because we are a test laboratory and our policy is neutrality in that regard. I can tell you that sometimes I use louder silencers when size and weight is really important, but I do use all of the PEW Science data to help me make decisions. When choosing a silencer for a .308 bolt gun, I typically go for light weight and a maximum length I feel comfortable using. If something is suuuuuper quiet, I tend to like to use it for extra protection when hunting. I think between the Enticer and Polonium-30, the Enticer is probably going to outperform the Polonium-30.
