Positano and Praiano are both beautiful. Your driver definitely knew what he was doing - that winding road is all there is and going the opposite direction of everyone else saved you hours in traffic.
Seriously! You would not believe the line of traffic, we only show like 10% of how bad it really was-people legitimately spent hours in traffic. I think tourists tend to start with Sorrento and end in Amalfi because it's a prettier drive than going up over the mountain. But we're so glad we went to Amalfi first because we literally had zero traffic and total freedom to get out and explore! Definitely the better decision in our opinion. 💙
@@JaredandBritt many tourists have hotels and stay several days in Sorrento. So yes, the general flow is Sorrento to Amalfi. Heard that years ago when I took my mom to Italy right after 9/11.

It's amazing that the beauty of this country's landscape is not ruined by the housing. So much is crammed into such little space, but it's been done with keeping the beauty in mind. Wish this country could take some good advice from them. Another fabulous video!!

💯% agree! When it comes to guided tours, usually the bigger the group the cheaper it is, but sometimes you have to splurge to make the most memorable moments! And we're so glad we did, because we passed countless buses full of people sitting in that long line of traffic. Definitely a bucket-list activity but so worth it!

Looks absolutely gorgeous i l been busy trying learn how to use wheelchair my amazing purple one as i will not walk unaided again. But glad you have amazing time. Well i can be disabled mama and still be good one. God has plans it his plan . I just need stuff adapted then i can be home with my family .

I live in Australia but if you had gone down further to Calabria my cousins would have been your tour guides and you could probably have stayed in one of their beach holiday homes and they would have also taken you on a tour of the islands by speed boat.Beautiful Vlog ❤

I think that hotel would cost a fortune we looked at some places for 6 people including 2 children I seen one price which was about 42k for 6 nights that’s pound sterling

Beautiful video!! Oasis is our fav ship been on her many times, we did 2 week med in 2019 on her but now you need to do land trip to Positano spent 2 weeks there and going back in fall, you can ferry to the other towns you won’t regret it best trip ever ❤️❤️
That's incredible!! We have loved it! Plus, of all the Aqua shows we've seen on the Oasis class ships, Oasis of the Seas is definitely one of the best! I know, Positano was so beautiful we kept wishing we had more time, we'll for sure be returning to explore more! I can’t believe that’s a two way road but oh how beautiful! I was drooling when you went in where the desserts were, oh yummy! I can’t believe the way the houses look like they are built on top of each other going up the hill. How do you decide on just one thing when you go in those bakeries!? Haha we have to resist the temptation to try everything in those bakeries! It's a real struggle. Yes! Those roads are crazy narrow with steep cliffs on the side, we saw SOOO many scooters, they're definitely the transportation of choice out there. There were a couple of times where we passed a tour bus on its way to Amalfi (so it was next to the cliffside) and our hearts would drop because it was such a tight squeeze!

Perfect! It started to drizzle a little bit in Positano but other than that we can really lucked out with the weather: plenty of breeze and sunshine when we needed it and ironically enough when we didn't need it too! Haha if we 'have' to go back to Positano to get him a real Italian leather I guess we can make it work 😜
