I am an INFJ 1w2. The anger you speak of is constantly under the surface. However, I have resonated with the INFJ description for years. I seek harmony in perfection. My ideals revolve around a perfect world. I tend to view others critically, but I view myself more so. My empathy tempers my high standards. It is a constant battle. I must have an outlet for my anger, such as the gym; otherwise, I become bitter, cynical, and unwise. I direct most of my anger at myself for not being perfect. I benefit from understanding that only God makes perfect things.
@totorishop I'm also an INFJ enneagram 8. I don't have any wings. But I relate to type 7 second. I feel angry a lot too. So I have to exercise it out.
INTJ Type 5 here. Also perfect example of your first non-contradiction: super energetic, dedicated, and work super-human long hours when interested in something. Lazy af (generally consuming YT videos on auto-play) in between and/or when not interested.
basically my life lols work nonstop while YT is running on the side with something either no lyrics music/ sounds or something very deeply intellectual that i wanna learn about or a topic that i like, while im working intense on something else too. Its like i need that intellectual stimulens at all times, and i work even better when its like this.
Finding correlations between MBTI and the Enneagram is something I'm quite passionate about. I spend countless hours browsing on Personality Database finding trends and clues for each possible MBTI/Enneagram combination and I almost always find something unexpected. I started my journey rigidly believing that certain MBTI types couldn't match with certain Enneagram types, but I quickly opened up to more uncommon combinations. Below is my two cent in regard to each MBTI and Enneagram combos. Again these are my opinion & findings: ▪Type ONE: ISTJ, ISFJ, ESTJ, INTJ, & INFJ are all likely. (most Judging types) ESFJ, ENFJ, INTP, & INFP are possible. The rest is unlikely. Type ONEs are very frequently found paired with a judging type. If they are not, then it may be the sx/so ONE (most flamboyant ONE) with a TWO wing. INTP & INFP ONEs are possible but are significantly rarer than with a judging preference. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ▪Type TWO: ISFJ, ESFJ, INFJ, & INFJ are all likely. (high Fe users) ISFP, ESFP, INFP, & ENFP are possible. (high Fi users) The rest is unlikely. Pretty self-explanatory. I suspect ESTP & ENTP to possibly be able to by paired with a core TWO type, but they will most likely have SEVEN in their tritype if so. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ▪Type THREE: ESTJ, ESTP, ENTJ, ENFJ, ESFJ ESFP, ENTP, & ENFP are all likely. (all In-Charge + Get-Things-Going communication style types). ISTJ, ISTP, INTJ, & INFJ are possible. (all Chart-the-Course communication style types.) ISFJ, ISFP, INTP, & INFP are unlikely. (all Behind-the-Scenes communicaty style types.) Typical social THREEs are often paired with ExxJ types. Self-preservation THREEs may be correlated with ISTJ, INTJ, & ISTP. THREE with SEVEN in the tritype are very likely to be extraverted. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ▪Type FOUR: INFP, ISFP, ENFP, ESFP, INFJ are all likely. (all high Fi users + INFJ). ENFJ, INTJ, ISFJ are possible. (some secondary or tertiary feelings users). The rest is unlikely. It's very common to see INFP & ISFP with a core FOUR enneagram type. INTJs may the only thinking type to pull it off sometimes, but some sources I've found may contradict my findings. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ▪Type FIVE: INTP, ISTP, INTJ, ISTJ, INFJ, ENTP are all likely. (mostly introverted types and Ti users). INFP, ISFJ, ISFP are possible. The rest is unlikely, especially ExFJs. Introverted thinking types are most likely to be found with FIVEs with INTP & ISTP topping the chart. Intuitives may by slightly more likely to be linked with core FIVE. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ▪Type SIX: all types are likely, especially introverted ones. This is the only type not to have a rare or unlikely combination. Social SIXes are more likely to be extraverted, especially with a SEVEN wing (ENFP, ENTP, ESFP, ESTP). When paired with a FIVE and/or a social last in their instinctual sequence, SIXes will often have an introverted type. The only two MBTI types that may be less likely to be core SIX are ESTJ & ENTJ. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ▪Type SEVEN: ESTP, ESFP, ENTP, & ENFP are all likely (all extraverted perceiving types). ISTP, ISFP, INFP, & INTP are possible. (all introverted perceiving types). The rest is unlikely, especially introverted judging types). I suspect some ExxJs to be able to have SEVEN as a core type, but this is still quite unlikely. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ▪Type EIGHT: ESTJ, ESTP, ENTJ, ENFJ, ESFJ ESFP, ENTP, & ENFP are all likely. (all In-Charge + Get-Things-Going communication style types, but mostly the former). ISTJ, INTJ, ISTP are possible. The rest is unlikely. This is a similar pattern to type THREE where In-Charge communication style types are more likely to have EIGHT are their core Enneagram type. Behind-the-Scenes types (ISFJ, ISFP, INTP, & INFP) are very rarely paired with core EIGHT. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ▪ Type NINE: ESFJ, ISFJ, ESFP, ISFP, ENTP, INTP, ENFP, INFP + INFJ (all the Get-Things-Going + Behind-the-Scenes communication style types, especially the latter + INFJ). ISTJ, ISTP, ESTP, ENFJ are possible. ENTJ, ESTJ, & INTJ are unlikely. NINEs are more likely to prefer introversion in general, but some social (dominant or secondary) NINEs can be extraverted. One fact to note is that extraverted MBTI with NINE as their core Enneagram types will sometimes look like their introverted counterpart (ex: ESFJ NINE looking like ISFJ at first glance).
Very nice. I'm an INFP 5. Loved your analysis of the interiority of INFP, and the difference with ISFPs and INFJs (my closest friends, and they always seem much more in touch with their emotions and expressing them than I am).The intense interior landscape and stoicism described this INFP 5 to a tee. Bravo, well done, good insight as always.
As someone who has consistently been tested (officially) as an INTJ, and shows most of the traits of a 9w8 so/sp I can say that it's actually really strange to explain to people how you think without coming off as insane. I am super strong headed in my goals, but my main goal is peace. I get curious about things, but particularly if i can use it to make people's lives better. But I don't particularly understand how people will react, I just try to figure what they need rather than making them feel happy about it. I have learned to act in accordance to my emotions, even if I don't always feel like having a smile because I know that it makes people more comfortable. I enjoy being in a leadership position because through experience, people almost always fuck up and I'm almost always the person who solves the issues. But I don't care if people particularly like me, as long as we are on the same side. It's like I value all these things, but I don't value them for me. I want peace, but I dont mind my life being a bit of a struggle. I value companionship, but I almost never feel a part of the friendships around me, more like the architect trying to get everyone to get together. It's like I feel like I have a unique responsibility to the world because I see things from affar, but that I need to guide people to stronger values, to make sure that no one falls to cynicism or nihilism. To get people to believe in things, but that these are goals that I don't necessarily need to reach aslong as others do. Yeah, it's wierd. Never really met anyone like me. It's like I've accepted the fact that i don't have a tribe or really belong anywhere, but that all that means is that I have more freedom to fulfil my goal/duty/purpose which is to bring everyone a bit closer to brighter days. But that I can't do it by understanding their emotions, but their actions, why they did things, then relate these things with other people, using diplomacy and spreadsheets to bring people together, clear misunderstandings, make people aligned. Ultimately, it feels like Im trying to create a world of idealism and unity I would like to live in, but won't, but it doesnt matter because the journey and the purpose is good enough.

Hi, Nathan! I'm a female INTJ type 3w4. My driven and goal-focused nature is what I feel more in touch with my type 3ness. Also, I like being perceived as competent rather than competitive. For me, it's important to "dress to impress" and follow the social game, I see it as a tool because it has served A LOT to be easily accepted by people and new environments. For me, it's like a skill, like speaking a non-verbal language. I feel that the appearance I display is valid to communicate and it is authentic as long as it expresses what I want to. Hope this feedback is somehow useful. I really love your content! ❤
@MXLY_ lol I have many INFJ moments too (I've heard INTJ females tend to have a well developed Fe function) but yes, at the end of the day we are who we are
I’m an INFP 9w8, I know that because I genuinely studied the two systems really well, I read books, watched experts and other people’s inputs, and got really into it for years, I didn’t leave any option out and I still ended up with these two that fit me like a glove. And yet I still see people that say Oh INFPs can’t be a 9w8 only a 9w1 or INFPs can’t be sp. This is such a huge misconception because specially in the enneagram you can shift between your wings and your instinctual variants to deal with what’s currently happening in your life or your lifestyle in general and even the people you live with/around and let me tell you I’m in a family FULL of high si users that raised me by their ways. Also when I was younger, I’m 100% sure I was an sx 9w1 and I also believe that I learned to lean to my 8 wing because I have an 8 mother that always tried to “toughen me up” because I’m “too soft and naive” and it stuck over the years just by experience, watching her and taking her advice one step at a time. And No one talks enough about how much your 3rd function can actually manifest specially when you’re being too introverted if you’re an introvert or too extroverted when you’re an extrovert because you start to use your corresponding i or e functions more than the second opposing one, which I believe is called a loop. I just hope that more people in the community stop treating the systems like they are a set grid instead of flexible archetypes that can only help you understand yourself and people better. And please don’t tell people they don’t know themselves specially after they put in a lot of effort to do so and observe/analyze their behavior AND if you don’t know their environment because it really has major impact as well. And yeah thanks for reading my rant. And thank you for this video 🤍
That's a really 9w8 comment. Can confirm, we grew up strengtening our Se. For instance, that's why Dark souls is my favourite franchise - it's poetic and gameplay revolves around persistency. I can describe 9w8 INFP as something like the fist of peace. Does that make sense?
Hard disagree on the INTP 9 being unlikely. From what I've picked up the vast majority of INTPs are either 5 or 9. I'm an INTP 9 myself. That Ti-Si loop and insecurity around the inferior Fe is very 9.
Also an INTP(9W1, Probably, I can't decide between 9W1 and 5w4), I think he got a little bit into de INTP stereotype(Truth above everything else), I often prioritize keeping peace rather than telling the truth, especially because I'm not certain about the truth, I don't if this will change as I gather more information but my state right now is when I'm in a situation that someone says some bullshit, I just keep quiet or I tell the truth in a very soft manner
@@creativenetworkbywyndellle256 Yes. I am very 5w9 INTP. Also all of the INFJs I know (4 of them), neither of them are conflict averse. I would switch INTP and INFJ in type 9 ranking. I don't have type 9 fears but their other traits apply
Uh... This is gold. Not only for my personal character development, rather than for my protagonists of my novel too. I choose them to be ESTP/7. ENTJ/3 and an ESTJ/1. So your video confirms my thoughts. Thank you.
I'm the stereotypical INTP 5w4 ! (though my wings are actually fairly balanced, I lean towards the creative side!) My husband is INFJ 8w9 ! He's a pretty rare combo for sure, but absolutely amazing at looking out for others. edit: For context now that I listened a bit more to what you had to say, him being an 8w9 balances out the stereotypical 8's "explosiveness" with diplomacy and the desire for harmony from the 9-wing. He has a LOT of presence, but rarely has to use it. He's incredibly protective and loyal, and an incredibly steady presence in my life that I'm thankful for. He is a papa bear in the truest sense.
Me, too! I'm in my 50s now, and I've settled into myself. I suspect that I would have been w6 when I was younger, but we didn't have these tests back then 😂
@nicholasjh1 oh, he's definitely introverted. He has a good tolerance for people, but ends up exhausted at the end of the day and really likes to just stay at home, as do I so it works for us.
My mother is INTJ 4 and your description is totally accurate!! I'm ENTP 8. I think this combo makes me a not so extreme-typical ENTP or 8: I'm a ENTP more grounded than a ENTP 7 and less aggressive and physical than a ESTP 8.
the instinctual variants aka. the subtype of enneagram are also very important to take into account when analysing each enneagram. each three subtypes of each enneagram gives you a broader and even different understanding of the enneagram types. Highly recommend reading into the subtypes to anyone reading
Seeing this video and the description of each type, kind of have proven my test results of type 1 correct. Even if I see as a flaw how strict I am with the rules, and my fixation with justice and righteousness troubles my therapist which thinks I should give myself and others some break... plus not everyone can take my honesty even if I polish it as much as possible. ISFJ
Nathan, thank you! This helped tremendously towards my quasi-goal of understanding the Enneagram better! What a great review, so many gold nuggets here. Appreciate the time and effort you put into this!
I’m the oddball one. I am an INFP enneagram 8. I appear quiet and meek on a normal day. And yet I’m the first into the fray at the sign of danger or bullying. I’m the one who will put myself between the victim and the aggressor and never think about personal safety. And when that happens, It’s like a switch gets flipped and I lose my sh-t completely. I become highly aggressive and confrontational. Especially when the fight isn’t fair or just, god help that person because I basically go after them like a pit bull on steroids. HUGE audacity and bravery fueled by an unhealthy amount of rage. I once snuck an abuse victim out of a bar where she was being beaten and then drove back and punched a wife beating two time felon ex con in the face in a bar full of other men with no one at my back. I was 16 years old and a girl (I was called for a ride out of there to help sneak her out). I’m absolutely NOT lying. I was a teen girl. He was an adult man. Needless to say we fought. I had him thrown in jail because I was underage and spiteful and vindictive, and certainly not above not fighting fair when the fight never was fair to begin with. Even if it wasn’t mine. Sorry not sorry 😂🤷♀️. I also ran into a group of the popular upperclassmen guys in high school who had surrounded this poor skinny little freshman who was gay and just trying to eat his lunch not bothering anyone and they were surrounding him and calling him names and telling him they would beat him up for being gay. Something about his terror and humiliation just cracked something inside of me and I couldn’t take it. I couldn’t stand by and do nothing like everyone else. He wasn’t bothering anyone and just trying to live his life quietly and go unnoticed. They zoned in on a perceived weakness and just went after him like pack animals. I flipped out on them and sent them scurrying away hurling insults at me. Didn’t bother me a bit 😂. Oddly enough I was pretty popular in school, so they were being confronted by someone from their own social group. I had actually dated the ring leader at one time. They never bothered him again though. I got between a clearly racist teacher bullying a black girl to tears as well. People forgot their books and were allowed to go to their lockers to retrieve them all of the time. This girl had a locker literally right outside the classroom and could have reached around the door and grabbed her book out of her locker without having to step beyond that class doorway. The teacher screamed at her for it until she was crying her eyes out and apologizing even though that teacher knew that locker was right outside her classroom door. If the white girls asked they got to leave and walk much farther to get their book without incident. But not the single black student in the class in our very white school. She got screamed out and talked to like trash. Again-something just cracked inside me. I couldn’t handle her pain, those tears. I jumped up and grabbed my stack of books and stomped over to her table and slammed my stack of books down so hard that the table jumped. The sound echoed through the hall. The teacher jumped ten feet in the air, startled. I stared into her eyes and sat down at that girl’s table and kicked my feet out in front of me and crossed them, folded my arms over my chest and sat back never taking my eyes off hers as I did so. The look I gave her was “I dare you to keep it up”. She didn’t know how to handle it and turned and walked back to her desk and composed herself. I slid my book over between myself and that girl and flipped it open to the lesson. The teacher went back to teaching the lesson like nothing had happened and I sat with that girl the rest of the school year because no one else would. No one bothered her again. These are true stories from my life, not lying. This is just who I am as a person. I can’t NOT stick up for the underdogs in life. I can’t handle bullying. It turns me into the bully OF bullies. Dirty Harriet looking for a punk who’s feeling lucky if someone is being cruel 🤷♀️. Pretty sure that means I need therapy or something but I don’t care. I grew up and got married and had a couple kids and raised a couple more local kids who had neglectful parents who didn’t care about them. I fostered kids for a short while too prior to that. And I made sure to be fair and just-everything equal whether it was my own kids or someone else’s. Same treats, same everything. Equality is important to me. Vital even. My INFP nature is still in there, but caught in a duality between “I want alone time” and “I want to throw a big party”. We had hundreds of people at my house on Halloween night for basically a party for anyone in town who wanted to come. We do a giant scary display, have a big ole projection screen playing scary movies, seating, several self serve food/drink stands with food, hot chocolate, cinnamon whiskey spiked apple cider with maraschino cherries blended in (so good 😂👍), treat bags etc. I think we averaged 400 people that night by the time I counted out what all got used in number since people only take one and are pretty good about that. But then I’ll withdraw for days with books and my macaw parrot and cats (kept separate obviously) in true INFP fashion. (Except my family is around, my husband obviously). So who knows? 🤷♀️. I’m a weird case.
God you’re such a INFP 😂 I read 2 sentences and I got immediately turned off, I cringed because I too am a INFP. I work for DHS and carry a gun for a living, and I’m very social at work but in my personal time i enjoy my me time
Really cool combo. Fi dom+E8 is a powerhouse imo because rage can be a driving force for INFP than other emotions. I guess you feel more connected with your Te as well?
@@11DelgadoBrian I’m not surprised 😂. It feels like either people love us or hate us-get us or don’t get us at all. Something that I love about myself is that I seriously just don’t give a fuq at all if someone doesn’t like me. I’m so blah about it-like “you win some, you lose some. Oh well 😂🤷♀️”. No one ever can make me feel small, it just doesn’t work on me. That’s the INFP part that doesn’t align with me at all. I don’t lay around feeling bad if someone tries something on me. I do care if I say something the wrong way though and it comes off poorly and I think I could have done better. So that’s me overthinking and feeling bad about me because “I” made me feel dumb or something. And I will die inside forever if I break my own moral and ethical code. Years later I’m still kicking myself over this or that when I knew better.
Fascinating comparison of the two systems! Have you ever considered doing this with the four humors (Melancholy, Phlegmatic, Choleric, Sanguine)? This system argues that each person is defined by a primary and a secondary humor (MelPhleg, MelChlor, MelSan, e.g.). Trying to correlate the twelve types of this system with the sixteen types of the MBTI system would be interesting indeed.
Lmao who else came for their own Enneagram? I'm an ENTP 7w8 and a lot of people (on certain websites that i don't wanna name) keep telling me that's not possible! I'll just send this video to prove them wrong instead of typing a 7 paged essay instead. (I still prefer the latter)
lol yes. If only I was a type 8. 🥴 idk if my type could be any weirder. ENTP: type 4w5 (am I doing that right? It's the highest percent type, then the second highest, yes?). I literally hate it. ಠ_ಠ maybe it's because im homeschooled
I think I am a 9w1 INTP. 9's conflict-averse nature may seem to contradict the need for honesty and truth of INTPs, but the stability seeking, experience oriented Si child and Fe inf can help Ti to process the truth in a milder manner based on previous social 'failures' (I'd probably come off more as a type 5 in the past than now). I still speak my mind even though it may be risky, but having learned some conversational methods, the way I go about it seems to de-escalate the tension, especially if there exists an emotional one. Emotionally charged situations are especially draining with Fe inf, so that also fits to the conflict aversion of 9s. If your INTP's 'desire for connection' is satisfied through sharing the knowledge (unlike the 'stinginess' of type 5) then you can get a type 9 INTP. (And why 9w1 rather than 9w8? Again, the emphasis seems to be on Ti's satisfaction of reaching truth rather than convincing others of it, so it's a more self-imposed criterion. Hence w1, which is more concerned with justification of the answer than asserting to the others that it is the right answer.)
Entp 8w9 here, I try to engage with se. I also used to ignore fe, but now I know when to pick some battles to engage with. I certainly won't hesitate to call out bs.
1:26:23 Man that's crazy. When I realized I was an ENFP 9 it just made so much sense to me, like it was natural. Can't believe it's considered unlikely
@Citrine-K I looked into the sp6, and I relate to some a lot of it, but I'm a 9. Idk which subtype I am, I relate to all three, but definitely a 9. I'm actually the stereotype, even! I don't fit the ENFP stereotype, though
INTP…my 3 highest scores were 1) Type 5 - Thinker (perceptive, cerebral type); Type 4 - Artist (intuitive, reserved type); and Type 1 - Reformer (rational, idealistic type). The scores were 7, 6, and 5, respectively.
now I understand why personality tests got me 5 different results : INFP => INTP => INTJ => ISTJ => ISTP ,then back to INTP, I'm most likely type 5. I also get along with ENTP's and ISFJ's (never met an INFJ before but would like to).
@lovewho interesting, I have had the same thoughts. However, you have to take the instincts of each type into account, one of the instincts in each enneagram type is the counter type and they do not fall into your grid. I am enneagram type 8 social instinct and I am an ENFP - which according to your walk through is unlikely.
Fast-paced and data-dense, suggesting multiple views, at least selectively. A reference video, indeed. Is this your longest single-sitting video performance?
While INFPs do indeed value justice, i doubt most would go outta their way to uphold it, as upholding anything would require standing firm in the face of conflict, & more often than not, INFPs tend to be conflict averse. Unlike ISFP who has a natural forcefulness to them, forcefulness in INFPs needs to be triggered & that flare doesn't tend to last very long, thus making them unlikely to champion anything, & E1 tends to be champions of something.
@FalconWindblader IxFPs that are conflict averse are enneagram 9s or have a 9 trifix. An enneagram 1 IxFP would very much be the type to uphold truth and justice.
IxFP’s with a strong Ni/Si can indeed be e1’s. However, since both have high Ne/Se, which can ba quite chaotic/hedonistic, e1 as a core is unlikely. 9w1 is more likely to happen, same with e1 in a trifix
Mixture of FOMO and YOLO, ahaha, right, everything in the 7th type description is as usual right up my alley. Descriptions of all types were on point, enjoyed a lot, thanks for the great video. (your friendly ENTP 7w8)
Nice analysis. I’m an 3w4 ENFJ. I’ll lean on my 2 wing in times of crisis but otherwise I’m leaning more towards the 4. I can really hit that melancholy when depressed but only those close to me know it because of Fe masking. My core fear is more about failure and being worthless than unloved or ordinary so type 3 fits the bill.
Hiii type 5 INFJ here with most likely balanced wings as I don't think one wing weighs more than the other. What I do realize is one wing is always more dominant at different time points in life. Like there are months where i will crave a creative outlet and months where I am all about scarcity and security. I lean more towards 6 during periods of anxiety and more towards 4 during mundane boring periods. I was typed as an INTP as a teenager
Enneagram tritype with wings and instinctual stack is my preferred system. It will give a clearer description of someone's behaviour and motivations than other systems.
Thanks for an interesting video as usual. I'd like to share my encounter with some unusual combos such as ISTP 1w9, 3w4 INTP 4w5, ESFP 2w3, ENTJ 2w3, ESTJ 2w1, ISTJ 7w6. They do exist.
@kevinlulu6683 I don't know for sure how many of them are out there. But I can guarantee you that the more people you meet, the weirder they get. Some combos like INTP 4w5s or ExFPs2 aren't that rare though.
During the video you always moved the time to the exact time I wanted, to the point that an hour and a half video took me ten minutes because I was only following two characters. I think some numbers really don't suit me at all.😅- Entj a
Jesus, you have so few subscribers. Came back after years expecting you to have at least breached 500K by now! Anyway, I love your content. Keep going ❤️
I’m an INTJ 5w6 but I’m almost an 8! So I don’t agree with It being unlikely for an INTJ.. and I’m a very introvert INTJ but I’m very assertive and I do consider power is part of my personality.
@Yo-pz1em I think vengeance and grudges are different. I only go for vengeance on really messed up things I won't let someone get away with bad stuff. But little things? I could care less. I'll remember but I have better things to do than waste my time on drama. But crossing me is the last thing some will do. I don't start fights but i sure as heck finish them
@@brickellvoss7739 My ex boyfriend was an ENTJ 8w7 and it can be a dangerous, chaotic combo if you're not well mentally. Hope you're taking good care of yourself. As an INTP 5w4 he and I were constantly at odds because he always tried to control me, and I constantly rebelled against it. Among other unhealthy relationship dynamics, if only it were as simple as that. x.x
@BiancamellaSays I'm with an intp and it's a great combo. I am healthy and always improving. Any type can be miserable when unhealthy. Control is a weak man's game you aren't good if that's the only way you can achieve things. People will do way more for you if they are happy.
Of all the enneagram types, 6 is the one I've had absolutely zero luck finding a correlation with MBTI. Three of my family members are type 6: an ENFP, an INFJ and an ENFJ.
46:30 I'm an INFP like this, & I've never heard anyone but myself describe it as you have. It's like I take my Ne & use it inwardly, as if my inner world were an outer world.
Isfp 9w8 here. Was a bit surprised to be put as a likely 4 but can see it. I have been looking for a long time. 9 seems a bit too "nice" but with the 8 wing it makes a lot of sense.
5:23 As someone who has 1 in his tritype and is dating an INFP, this makes a LOT of sense. (I'm actually a 3 but my tritype is 317; my girlfriend is a 4, and her tritype is 495)
e6 enfp here… it’s not weird, trust me. e6’s indeed value safety and security. while rules and authority is something an Si dom would be loyal to to feel safe, for me, rules and authority is something that must be constantly questioned and defied to feel safe.
Now I feel compelled to start making content related to this since it is still a highly misunderstood theory and so many connections are missed. For instance - growth and stress. Extremely important points that are integrated into the whole of who we are. The descriptions given on types are an aggregate of what others have seen from them as behavior in a state of accepted functioning of how a person is supposed to live. I call this layers of identity. Another extremely important point is having 1 and 5 in a tritype with Ni as a dominant function. It indicates whole brain functioning. Actually, I think I will just put the information on one place instead of writing it all down here because it will take me a lot of time.
Riso has correlated Type 6 with the introverted feeling function. I am an INFP and also type 6. I think it should be possible not unlikely but I am biased...love the video though!
ENFP 6w5 reporting in, it's definitely possible. I'd argue most of the most conventionally ENFP characters are 6s, and plenty of unconventional non-counterphobic 6s might be ENFPs. The secret is in unhealthy Ne, Si grip(which otherwise leads to the hilariously catastrophic ENFP e1) and the most noxious blend of Fi-Te.
"...someone might be very energetic on stage but very socially withdrawn..." It's me. Hi. I'm the problem. It's me. I've always said that I'm brilliant in front of a crowd that traumatized in one.
I feel like this is my invitation to finally figure out my Enneagram. 😂 EDIT: oh, yeah. 2. though i always thought 6 fit as well, especially as i age. I retested as ENFJ not long ago but I haven't tested Enneagram in forever, so long ago I forgot until I began the video. Hm.

Thanks
But what is your opinion on it
As an INFJ 4w5, thank you!
@@itzbuv_sin Opinion regarding to 5w4 or from each of types as an INFJ?
I regard Enneatype 9 as being the paradigmatic of INFJ.

Same 👍

Maybe he should re-edit it?
@totorishop I'm also an INFJ enneagram 8. I don't have any wings. But I relate to type 7 second. I feel angry a lot too. So I have to exercise it out.
Exactly same
This merged the 2 typology systems fantastically! Great video 😄
Nice (blank) sign in the background btw....😉
INTJ Type 5 here. Also perfect example of your first non-contradiction: super energetic, dedicated, and work super-human long hours when interested in something. Lazy af (generally consuming YT videos on auto-play) in between and/or when not interested.
yes lmao same here
basically my life lols work nonstop while YT is running on the side with something either no lyrics music/ sounds or something very deeply intellectual that i wanna learn about or a topic that i like, while im working intense on something else too.

Again these are my opinion & findings:
▪Type ONE: ISTJ, ISFJ, ESTJ, INTJ, & INFJ are all likely. (most Judging types)
ESFJ, ENFJ, INTP, & INFP are possible.
The rest is unlikely.
Type ONEs are very frequently found paired with a judging type. If they are not, then it may be the sx/so ONE (most flamboyant ONE) with a TWO wing. INTP & INFP ONEs are possible but are significantly rarer than with a judging preference.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪Type TWO: ISFJ, ESFJ, INFJ, & INFJ are all likely. (high Fe users)
ISFP, ESFP, INFP, & ENFP are possible. (high Fi users)
The rest is unlikely.
Pretty self-explanatory. I suspect ESTP & ENTP to possibly be able to by paired with a core TWO type, but they will most likely have SEVEN in their tritype if so.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪Type THREE: ESTJ, ESTP, ENTJ, ENFJ, ESFJ ESFP, ENTP, & ENFP are all likely. (all In-Charge + Get-Things-Going communication style types).
ISTJ, ISTP, INTJ, & INFJ are possible. (all Chart-the-Course communication style types.)
ISFJ, ISFP, INTP, & INFP are unlikely. (all Behind-the-Scenes communicaty style types.)
Typical social THREEs are often paired with ExxJ types. Self-preservation THREEs may be correlated with ISTJ, INTJ, & ISTP. THREE with SEVEN in the tritype are very likely to be extraverted.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪Type FOUR: INFP, ISFP, ENFP, ESFP, INFJ are all likely.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪Type FIVE: INTP, ISTP, INTJ, ISTJ, INFJ, ENTP are all likely.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪Type SIX: all types are likely, especially introverted ones.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪Type SEVEN: ESTP, ESFP, ENTP, & ENFP are all likely (all extraverted perceiving types).
ISTP, ISFP, INFP, & INTP are possible. (all introverted perceiving types).
The rest is unlikely, especially introverted judging types).
I suspect some ExxJs to be able to have SEVEN as a core type, but this is still quite unlikely.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪Type EIGHT: ESTJ, ESTP, ENTJ, ENFJ, ESFJ ESFP, ENTP, & ENFP are all likely.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪ Type NINE: ESFJ, ISFJ, ESFP, ISFP, ENTP, INTP, ENFP, INFP + INFJ (all the Get-Things-Going + Behind-the-Scenes communication style types, especially the latter + INFJ).
Nope, you're probably just a 4w5, INFP and E5 isn't compatible. I've been mistyped like that as well
As someone who has consistently been tested (officially) as an INTJ, and shows most of the traits of a 9w8 so/sp I can say that it's actually really strange to explain to people how you think without coming off as insane.

I'm a female INTJ type 8w7. I sometimes think I'm INFJ and sometimes ENTJ, only to always remember what I truly am.
It's funny how we, infps need to analyze everything in depth😂
@ Are we even INFPs if we don’t try to analyze and figure out everything about what makes us who we are 😂😭
That's a really 9w8 comment.
I'm also an INTP 9(w1). It is a different flavor of INTP, but not uncommon, from what I've heard.
😂 true they are 5 and 9s
@@creativenetworkbywyndellle256 Yes. I am very 5w9 INTP. Also all of the INFJs I know (4 of them), neither of them are conflict averse. I would switch INTP and INFJ in type 9 ranking. I don't have type 9 fears but their other traits apply
5w4 INTP, but 9 was my ACTUAL secondary type... the 4 just occurred due to the system...
Hey, look who's back.
Uh... This is gold. Not only for my personal character development, rather than for my protagonists of my novel too. I choose them to be ESTP/7. ENTJ/3 and an ESTJ/1. So your video confirms my thoughts. Thank you.
I'm the stereotypical INTP 5w4 ! (though my wings are actually fairly balanced, I lean towards the creative side!)
My husband is INFJ 8w9 !
I suspect that I would have been w6 when I was younger, but we didn't have these tests back then 😂
Honestly sounds like an enfj, who often mistype as infj. Just depends on if they lead with Ni or fe
Highly recommend reading into the subtypes to anyone reading
this
Seeing this video and the description of each type, kind of have proven my test results of type 1 correct. Even if I see as a flaw how strict I am with the rules, and my fixation with justice and righteousness troubles my therapist which thinks I should give myself and others some break... plus not everyone can take my honesty even if I polish it as much as possible.
ISFJ
Brilliant!! ENFJ type 9 here. You’re right-we’re possible! 😁
Years later I’m still kicking myself over this or that when I knew better.
please dive deeper on enneagram instinctual subtypes
Try reading the description of sexual 4..That sounds like you😊
ISFJ 6w5 here---so appreciative of your thoughtful videos!
Trying to correlate the twelve types of this system with the sixteen types of the MBTI system would be
interesting indeed.
David Keirsey actually takes a gander at this in "Please Understand Me II," at least as far as the 4 humors comparison goes, if you're interested.
@@gargervon8697 Thank you. I love PUM2. Haven't looked at it in quite a spell. Guess I'll do that later. Thanks.

Among so many high quality videos of yours, this one has to be one of, if not your very best. Thanks!
I'm an Entp 7w8 too
Entp 7w8 is the common ENTP most entp are 7w8
lol yes. If only I was a type 8. 🥴 idk if my type could be any weirder. ENTP: type 4w5 (am I doing that right? It's the highest percent type, then the second highest, yes?). I literally hate it. ಠ_ಠ maybe it's because im homeschooled
I'm an ISTJ 4w5, and I must say it feels like I'm constantly contradicting myself in how I want others to perceive me.
This didn't describe me actually but it did a friend of mine. I'm a type 1 ENFP. I have a friend who is also a type 1 but ISTJ.
Intj 5w4 here, thanks for the brilliant video!
Same, brother!
Have you considered Self-Preservation 6 as an alternative type for yourself?
INTJ/5 married to an INTJ/9.
I'm a very lucky person.
I know people who are ISTJ 9, ISFP 6, INFJ 1, and ENFP 3
@lovewho interesting, I have had the same thoughts. However, you have to take the instincts of each type into account, one of the instincts in each enneagram type is the counter type and they do not fall into your grid. I am enneagram type 8 social instinct and I am an ENFP - which according to your walk through is unlikely.
INFJ 5 here. Knowledge as a 'refuge' is spot on- for me the knowledge gathering is less dragon hoarding, than it is building a stable sanctuary
Fast-paced and data-dense, suggesting multiple views, at least selectively. A reference video, indeed. Is this your longest single-sitting video performance?
I can see ISFP and INFP being an enneagram 1 because Fi and enneagram 1 both focus on morals and upholding values and justice.
I love videos like this! To repeat some other comments, I also know of some Type 1 INFJs.
Mixture of FOMO and YOLO, ahaha, right, everything in the 7th type description is as usual right up my alley. Descriptions of all types were on point, enjoyed a lot, thanks for the great video. (your friendly ENTP 7w8)
no wonder you've been away for so long (apart from your patreon activities), this is a whole lecture! not complaining tho hehe.
I'm an INFJ 2W1, though I also relate to Type 9s. I find it fun, trying to guess other's MBTI and Enneagram types.
You've been missed!
God, thank you Nathan for making this video!
Finally someone that knows the full, complex and sometimes counterintuitive spectrum of the type 6. Very well done.
ENFJ 7w6! This video is super informative!
I’m a ENTP 8 but my friends are ENTP 7w8 there’s a big difference I want to conquer and dominate they want to have to have fun and enjoy life
Ohh I’m an Entp 5 I think
The question is do they exist at scale? Most of these combo seems highly rare imo
I think some numbers really don't suit me at all.😅- Entj a
INFP 4w5 over here. Definitely feels quintessentially INFP
INFJ Type 5 here👋
My ex and daughter are both INFJ and 5s. My son is an INTJ and 5.
Jesus, you have so few subscribers. Came back after years expecting you to have at least breached 500K by now!
Anyway, I love your content. Keep going ❤️
Interesting! I can see 5 and 6 fitting well for INTPs, but I’d argue Type 9 is possible too-just in a more passive, conflict-avoidant form.
Amazing 💖 and a titan of a video 💫🥰
I’m an INTJ 5w6 but I’m almost an 8!
So I don’t agree with It being unlikely for an INTJ.. and I’m a very introvert INTJ but I’m very assertive and I do consider power is part of my personality.
I'm a 6w7 ENFP. I'm definitely a more grounded type than a typical ENFP, and I'm more ready to pursue new experiences than a typical 6.
My sister is a 1 and INTJ, while I’m a 9 and INFJ. Great analysis.
ENTP type 5 but not socially introverted at all would be my comrades 🥹
You're back!
You're baaaaack - Early Christmas :D
As an ENTJ who is an 8, that part about vengeance fits me well the older I get.
my brother is an entj. he holds grudges for years.
@@brickellvoss7739 Incredibly true, I'm glad you're doing well. :)
I'm an ENFJ and I'm a major Enneagram type 3
Of all the enneagram types, 6 is the one I've had absolutely zero luck finding a correlation with MBTI. Three of my family members are type 6: an ENFP, an INFJ and an ENFJ.
46:30 I'm an INFP like this, & I've never heard anyone but myself describe it as you have. It's like I take my Ne & use it inwardly, as if my inner world were an outer world.
7w8 ISTPs checking in ☝🏾
My original fictional character has the same tipology and after this video I doubt about it 😭 (sorry for my bad English)
I'm an INFP 6w5 and I also scored high in types 1, 2, 3, and 4.
TWINNNN did you know we have the same enneagram and MBTI type as Charlie Brown?
Isfp 9w8 here. Was a bit surprised to be put as a likely 4 but can see it. I have been looking for a long time. 9 seems a bit too "nice" but with the 8 wing it makes a lot of sense.
INFP 6w5... breaking molds all over the place, I guess...😅
I have a good friend that is INFP 6w7 😊 I think it's not so strange
I think we need an "impossible" slot for some of these Enneagram/MBTI matches
Welcome back! Anyway, INTP here!
I’m an infp and 100% am type 2 and 6 to a tee, and a bit of 4 as well (don’t know why my comment got deleted lol the first time)
I’m an example of an INTP 7, and some people have claimed that I don’t exist… xd
I'm an INFJ 4w5. Makes perfect sense to me, wow!
hehe would like to see this for the 27 tritypes but then the video would be 5 hours long :(
Hmm, I'm an ENTP 5w4. And to me it makes perfect sense, as ENTP:s are both logical thinkers and individualists.
I’m an ISTJ 9w1, but I feel like that makes me seem like an ISFJ in the eyes of others
41:41 I take that to mean that it's definitely possible for ENTPs to have 5 in their tritypes.
"...someone might be very energetic on stage but very socially withdrawn..."
It's me. Hi. I'm the problem. It's me. I've always said that I'm brilliant in front of a crowd that traumatized in one.
Shocked to see some ESFPs can indeed act like type 8s (kind of funny because it's unexpected) :D is it just me? *(INTJ 5w4)*
Not really. Most ESFPs are 7s and many 7s have an 8 wing, so no surprise. ESFPs also have third slot Te, which correlates with 8
Ahahaha, INFP 3w4 here. Your insight was quite unique.
This is EXCELLENT.
ENTP 7w8 here and I agree.. Great video btw
I think you are relating type 1 to Te alot, its a little common for INFJ actually to be 1
Yeah I'm INFJ and 1w2 🙋♀️
@@RoseCalyx my sister is also INFJ 1w9 (sp1)
INTJ 1w9 here who loves rules (but knows they can often be wrong) 🤍🙋🏻♀️
I'm a 4w5 INFP so I confirm 😇🤗
You nailed mine, Nate ❤ ps: I miss talking to you
INTJ 5w6 here...loved this
I feel like this is my invitation to finally figure out my Enneagram. 😂
EDIT: oh, yeah. 2. though i always thought 6 fit as well, especially as i age. I retested as ENFJ not long ago but I haven't tested Enneagram in forever, so long ago I forgot until I began the video. Hm.
