I played it in the Apple Arcade and gotta say, this game is something else. The mechanics are good, music and sound design are amazing and the story is actually pretty cool (especially the ending). The game should deserve more attention
Apple Arcade? Really? I had Apple Arcade for a few weeks but it felt like it was full of games for people who never played video games. Shinsekai looks pretty cool.
Getting Metroidvania vibes, except the entire game is one of those water levels that frustrates you and scares you to death. Kind of intriguing though.
I picked it up last night and played it for 4 hours straight! It is like an under water metroidvania meets blaster master! With a heavy emphasis on blaster master. Love it.

Not only is is addictive to explore, but the whole experience is like a rollercoaster. I'm glad it got ported on the switch with a new time trial mode. Anyone thinking of playing this, definitely give it a go. It's amazing with headphones too!
I hope so too. I love having physical copies they last forever if you take care of them. Except for wii u discs, look at em funny and they just stop working.
This game is INCREDIBLE!!!! For 20 dollars? Everyone should buy this game it's so unique and i love the art direction and animations and music, REALLY hope we get a sequel!!
Bought it on sale in the E-shop the other day for 10 bucks and absolutely love this game (WEAR HEADPHONES to immerse yourself in the environment and perfect soundtrack! )
I loved this game. Arcade has a few chosen gems of games. And this is definitely one of them. Including SAMURAI JACK, THE LAST CAMPFIRE, CREAKS and NEVERSONG
It is very much like a Metroid game, except with air managment, crafting, and of course underwater physics. But it doesn't feel bad to me, just intentionally floaty and weighted.

at first glance i thought this was going to be like astroneer, but now i can see i was very wrong, and now i realize there is no water in astroneer and now i want a water planet
I'm not 100% sure about the japanese seal script characters in the logo, but if "Shinsekai" has the most common meaning of words shin and sekai, it translates to "Brand new world"
Looks like Another Apple Arcade “exclusive” got ported to the switch... man, they just keep losing exclusives don’t they? That being said, pick this game up. It’s totally worth it.

It’s much more of an under water blaster master meets metroidvania. Also, so far at 4 hours in the combat and bosses are great! Loving the animation of the main character!
