- Putting Halo into Vietnam Mike Force, what could go wrong?
The UNSC frigate "Fires of Arcadia" and it's compliment of marines garrison on a distant jungle world in order to crush a local insurrection on the planet's colonial province. Turns out it's rather hard to do when they've all become guerilla fighters and nothing short of a carpet bombing brings them out of the jungle.

This ended up being way more fun than we expected lol. Thanks to Tails for going into an isolation chamber and switching out all the halo assets to make this mission. We’ll probably make him do another sci-fi universe next c:

The Halo ops are my favorite by a mile, maybe it's because Halo is one of my favorite game series ever, maybe it's the uniquely insane energy these ops have. All I know is I love them a lot.
And they show us the life of the MARINES. Too much focus on the Spartans in the Halo games I feel like.
If they made a halo game based on marines with no shields and high chance of death I'd buy it

The moment something can be described as "being like Vietnam" you KNOW shit's about to go down.
No idea if there's one of it, but I want to see Ignis handle something from Mass Effect. Just the idea of ya'll battling Krogans for whatever reason brings me joy.
I'd love to see them as Quarians fighting endless Geth dropships, but watching them try to fistfight a Krogan would also be nice.

Cypher with the spongebob reference nearly killed me XD Also, his _leg_ . I don't know if thats an Arma glitch, but whenever Jay moved his camera Cypher's leg stretched and retracted.
It appears Tails has finally ascended to god-status. He is no longer confined to the mortal limits of size, able to enlarge his very being to titan like height and reduce himself so that he is invisible to the naked eye. If this does not prove that Tails should be labelled as a Euclid class entity, then I don't know what will. If anything he deserves his own (joke) SCP page at this point.

To be fair that's the default in the Covenant War as well so Ignis just stays lore accurate by being Ignis

Spartans were created to fight innies not covvies. So innies being an incredible threat to regulars is lore accurate.
@@cropathfinder but since this is halo they could probably claim the covenant attacked them and then get lucky enough the cove actually does invade and wipe out the innies before the UNSC can check.
I love Ignis, you're all so willing to be cooperative with one another even during the worst of plans. It reminds me of a group of ants trying to form a living bridge upwards, towards some sort of sap or fruit, only to topple over one another continuously until a bird spots the giant mass of food and picks them off. It's truly the greatest of bonds, the kind that even deteriorating brain cells can't get in the way of

I didn't realize PTSD stacked like that, I thought it was exponential. (Halo Reach + Nam flashbacks)
Quick insight into the 5B sounds. Our sound devs were able to locate the exact stock sound that the Halo: CE MA5B used. No, it’s not a rip, we located the exact file and where it came from, so it sounds like the AR from CE. Though, A3 does sounds weird and it doesn’t exactly sound like CE but it’s as close as we could get atm

As the original concept creator of this game mode - designed to club you into trauma - i’m so happy to see teams enjoying the pain - and i love what you did to it adding HALO - good job!
The MA5 series are in now way functionally superior to current production rifles. And in many ways are inferior(heavily), especially once you take the magic(fact that devs had no idea how firearms work) out of the equation. And in the Halo universe, they are less than useless. the UNSC would have been nearly as well off with bog-standard AKMs, or M4s.

Oh man, this is such a fun video to watch. Halo has some mild 'Nam vibes already, but this not only seems natural but also incredibly fun. Vietnamese Innies, descendents of Charlie, with MA5Bs is scary.
