So, quick question. When you installed the cams, did you degree them or just go based off of the factory timing. And 2 does it have a nice noticeable lope at idle without the tune?
We essentially just went off the factory timing with one caveat(this being a 1998 with a non Pi engine but the cams are for Pi engines). Yes it lopes pretty good with no tune, and honestly it loped better without the tune. Here's what it sounds like no tune: ua-cam.com/video/4ks7571fzoA/v-deo.html

@@LegalLowGround No problem. Yes they should be fine. But make sure you turn the engine over by hand a couple times to make sure you don't feel anything hitting or binding. I've heard people say they've seen the stock Ford cam gears themselves being off a couple degrees.

My 98 gt gets a lil rattle at about 3k rpm when a lil low on oil. It seems like yours making the same noise, I could be wrong tho.

Are these the stock springs still on the heads ?
No, this cam requires upgraded valve springs and retainers. We used comp cams beehive spings part number 26113-16 and retainers part number 791-16
