I've been through something like this before. Narcs usually have a set view of the world and people. But when they come against someone or something that challenges that, or even worse, proves that view (them because they personalize everything) wrong, they lose their freaking minds. Had someone leave me multiple derogatory phone messages all because I didn't view myself the way they saw me and cut them off.
